"Oh, well you just- ah..." Ms. Tomoka's expression froze. She hadn't thought about that part, at all. She tried to think of an answer that'd satisfy the group, but she couldn't think of much. "Ah, well, you see, um...."

Li-Hua's jaw dropped, "You didn't think about that?!" she cried out, "You didn't think about what diapers are actually for?!" Her confidence in the idea was already below the ground, but now it feels like it shot through the ground and ended up on the other side of the planet.

“Um, Ms Tomoka…?” Neneka repeated again, a little more… uncertain now as she looked at their manager “Normally, Babies and adults that… um…”

“Great! Then we can move onto something else!” Yuriko proclaime, glad to find any excuse to get of of this situation. “Come on, what’s a better plan?”

Ms. Tomoka did admit, she did briefly think about coming up with a new plan but... she looked at the open pack of diapers and the skirt around Neneka's waist. She was too far in, unless she wanted to take on another loan. No, she's already doing that with so many other stuff. This was her last shot, she had already committed to this idea.

"No, no, ummm... we have no better plans, not really," she said, trying to not reveal that this was possibly their last gig. She took a deep breath, "If you must go to the bathroom, then I guess you'd have use them." Ms. Tomoka winced, thinking she was asking too much of Neneka.

"What?" Li-Hua said.

"HUH!?" Mana jolted up from the sofa.

“What.” Yuriko’s mouth was agape as she heard her manager speak.

“Ah..” Neneka muttered as she thought about it some more, though it was clear that parts of her enthusiasm was slightly waned… though thinking about it, maybe it won’t be terrible? After all, kids do that and nobody complains…? Though in fairness, they are a group of adults instead “I-I’ll do it… it’ll be fine!” She said after a brief pause “But maybe, um, we don’t need to wear them off stage right…?”

Ms. Tomoka sighed in relief at Neneka's answer. "Oh, well at minimum I need you girls to wear them around the office for practice, pictures, advertisements, but you don't have to wear them outside of work," she said. Although, it wouldn't hurt to get used to them more, she understood she was asking these girls for a lot already.

"... pictures?" Li-Hua repeated, her neck clenching for a moment out of dread.

Mana looked at Neneka, wondering if maybe her optimism was just a lack of shame.

“Oh! Like pictures for stuff like the front of magazines?” If she was trying to disprove Mana, it definitely wasn’t helping that she seemed all too interested in potentially showing off her wearing diapers to the rest of the world. “Hmm… yeah, sure, I could do that! Making a good impression is key for being a loved idol, after all.”. Maybe actually using the diapers was still a bit crazy, but that was something to leave for future Neneko to deal with.

“Wait wait wait, just how much are we doing that involves wearing them?” Yuriko muttered

"You won't be doing any overtime, if that's what you're asking," Ms. Tomoka said. "Now, if you girls will excuse me, I need to fix up these skirts!" she said, taking the hangers and heading out the office again.

Li-Hua saw her take her outfit and tried to stop her, "Wait hang o- and she left," Li-Hua sighed. She turned her attention to Neneka, "Neneka, please stop encouraging her!"

The padded idol simply feigned ignorance as she shrugged “I didn’t do anything? It was all her own idea!” Neneka insisted, “Besides, I think this is waaay cuter that the other ideas Ms Tomoko had! Just try it on, maybe you’ll like it?”

“I-I’m with Neneka here… I don’t think it’s as bad as you guys are making it up to be… wasn’t Ms Tomoko talking about stuff like mimes for her other idea…?” Hwa spoke up from the back of the group.

"You are encouraging it, Neneka! She listens to you the most out of any of us! If you start shutting the idea down, I'm sure she'll follow suit!" Li-Hua scolded. "And Hwa-" Li-Hua was about to scold Hwa as well, but decided against it, knowing Hwa wouldn't take it well. She can't even take a normal conversation, so she's not going to be able to handle being scolded by her.

Mana raised her hand, "I don't care too much. Let her have her fun and we can rip off this band-aid and move on to the next gimmick. We'll disappear from public thought after a day-"

"This idol business goes on my record! My resume! I know I'd disappear from public thought, much less be in it in the first place!" Li-Hua said, not at all minding yelling at Mana, "I don't want my personal and future business relationships to know!"

“W-Well… there isn’t exactly much else to do!” Neneka retorted, a slight pout on her face “I just want the best for all of us… even if it’s a bit strange for everyone, I think we can put up with it for now!”. It was already becoming clear that even the often cheerful Neneka has some limit, judging from the slight quiver in her voice

“Can everyone stop…” Hwa muttered as she stood up, shaking her head “Since we’re already so far in, can we just do this for a little while?”

Yuriko has more or less given up opposing the idea wants; if that’s what Ms Tomoko wants, let her have it… and when it probably inevitably fails, they’ll be able to choose again. “Li-Hua, would you rather go down having nobody remember you or what, wearing an adult diaper once?”
