[Diapered Avenger]

"I thought this was the only ship, okay?" Amelia snapped, mentally beating herself for her poor decision. "Do we have any electromagnetic missiles? Just one of those can temporarily put a small armada out of commission."

Mako typed away at the board and looked up their inventory. "Captain is appears that we have 3" he replies.


Matt sighed and took a breath. "Gotta think big picture Captain. It would be best to use the missile then cloak and land on the planet" he suggests. "Rescuing the injured and waiting for backup is a safer bet. Or we can warp and Mako can signal for backup from the federation"

Amelia grit her teeth in frustration. "I guess we don't have any other options. Doctor, fire an electromagnetic missile at the enemy forces and prepare to land on the Kaizoks' planet." She ordered. "We'll regroup after we land."

[kakarot]

Mako nodded and fired the missile, and fortunately it hit the enemy ship and knocked out their power momentarily, as a backup ship was arriving.


Matt then piloted the ship down while Mako brought the cloak online as they landed and saw some scorched land around them from the attack.

As soon as the cloaking device was online, Amelia got up from her chair. "We need to form a rescue team to round up the Kaizoks. If we're waiting for backup, we need to make sure the inhabitants of this planet are safe." She explained.

"Commander, you and I will lead this rescue team, so go to security and explain the situation to them before gearing up. I'll be in my quarters preparing a... bag for myself. Doctor, you and Chief Roxanne have the bridge. Try to make sure the cloaking device stays online for as long as possible, and be prepared for an enemy assault." Amelia said to her crew before walking to her quarters.

Matt nodded to this and did his part, and went to his room and grabbed a laser pistol, and a com device to stay in touch.


Mako signaled for backup and a report of what was going on. He also reported to Roxanne so they could stay in contact while hoping to get help soon.


After a few minutes had passed, Matt went to Amelia's room and knocked to see if she was ready.

Amelia was in her quarters preparing her own laser pistol and communication device as well as packing a diaper bag for herself.

She soon met up with Matt in one if the ship's hallways. "Are you ready?" She asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be Captain" he responds. Mako opened the ship as they left and reached the surface and saw some nearby buildings as part of the city. "Let's go" he says.

Amelia carefully patrolled the city with Matt and the rest of security, looking for any enemies. Her eyes then turned to a young Kaizok who was running away. "Hold on! We're not here to hurt you. We're with the Federation." She said to the child.

(I don't like the idea of having other random NPC'S on the ship =/. What's the point?)

There were no enemies on the planet, they had been firing upon them and during the fighting, were not able to land safely. The Cosmos was because it was a federation ship.

The child looked up at Amelia with tears, apparently they had gotten separated from their parents.


After a bit of searching and ducking from light firing from the enemy ship that hadn't gone to back up the main ship that was out of commission, they reunited the child and were able to gather the people together in one untouched building.


"Captain the people are safe for now, we just need to wait for backup"




While this was going on, a stay blast managed to hit the ship and Mako felt a shake and rumble, but the shields still held through the shockwave. "Roxanne are you okay?" He called out on the system.
