Kate cried into Victoria's shoulder feeling utterly worthless again! Why did she have to answer such a call? Why couldn't she of just left it? Why did she have to be so stupid! Kate cried and cried not caring that Victoria was carrying her.

Kate glanced at the bed and at Max while crying. That only managed to make Kate feel worse but she did manage a small nod in understanding that she couldn't leave at all because Max needed her and she had to deal with her emotions and family matters somehow otherwise it might cause problems for Max.

Kate sat in the big comfy chair and held the cup with both her hands while she wiped away her tears, "S-s-sorry." stammered Kate having her confidence knocked again, "I'll try and be better, promise." added Kate apologising to Victoria but was there anything she needed to apologise for? Kate took a small sip of the coco still feeling upset.

VIctoria sighed "sweetie It's okay you didn't know that was your mom you have nothing too apologies for." she cooed sweetly "We're gonna protect you no matter what happens okay" she promised as she looked over toward the bedroom "do you wanna try getting more sleep?" she asked considering something

"call your dad and tell him my number is your new one then You'll have a way too talk too the rest of the family" she cooed grabbing kates cellphone. "Cause I'm gonna put this up somewhere" s he cooed placing it up on a high ass shelf "there safe and sound" she chirped happily walking away from the shelf and wrapping kate in a hug.

Kate sniffled a little and sighed she still felt horrible giving what her mother had just said but she did feel better already. It did make her feel strange that Victoria was being this nice to her giving what had happened between them but she wasn't going to complain, "Thank you." replied Kate quietly thinking over what Victoria had said.

Kate was taking back by the hug but soon enough she wrapped her arms around Victoria's neck and rested her head against Victoria's chest enjoying the hug, "I don't know if I'll be able to get back to sleep would it be okay if I call my dad later?" asked Kate quietly.

"Of course sweetie" she cooed then smirked a little "My kindness isn't free YOu have too change max tomorrow" she said smugly walking away from kate leaving her with her thoughts for now she went and tucked in with max on the other side from chloe.

the next morning Cloe woke up first and isighed gently and Victoria was swift too follow she scooped up max and carried her too the kitchen checking her diaper and looking for kate it was he job tooo change her afterall

Kate sighed a little but it didn't surprise, "That's fine." replied Kate knowing that she should of expected something like that from Victoria and she hadn't really changed Max at all yet. Chole and Victoria had been doing most of the work on that front.

Kate stayed up for another hour before getting back into the bed and curling up next to the others. Kate stayed fast asleep in the bed having not waken up at all with everyone else because of the stress she had been put through with that previous phone call.

Max yawned loudly as Victoria scooped her up. Her diaper was wet and in need of a change but she felt hungry! And her hunger was growing to the point that her stomach was rumbling, "Hungry." whined Max yawning.

Victoria cooe d bringing the girl over and changing her into a fresh thick diaper before feeding her a bit of cereal while she cooked breakfast for everyone she smiled at how utterly adorable max looked sitting in the little plastic booster seet how long would it be till that became a high chair already it seemed more fitting. a short while later chloe took her seat and unceremoniously began digging in

Victoria smiled thinking about how they'd divide up Christmas shopping and smirked "Chloe yuouspend the day with lil' max while me and kate go shopping" she stated firmly wanting too pick out some a amazing presents for the girl.

(I kind of want kate's mom too show up while max is opening her presents probably in just a diaper and shirt since it's early Christmas morning.)

Max was glad to be out of her used diaper and blushed when she was changed by Victoria. It still surprised her by how caring Victoria was! She never expected Victoria to be caring at all. Max ate the cereal at a fast pace feeling hungry and ended up making a slight mess but she didn't care at all! She was hungry! Max ate her breakfast having some trouble cutting it up but eventually she managed to do it and smiled at her little success! Even liked this she ruled! Max grinned brightly and ate her food.

Max looked at Victoria curiously, "Why do you need to go shopping?" asked Max out of pure curiosity due to the amount of staff Victoria had it didn't make much sense to Max for Victoria to go out at all.

Kate yawned a little and woke up slightly. What time was it? Kate rubbed her head and stretched before heading into the kitchen her hair messy, "Morning." said Kate softly her hair an utter mess as she rubbed both of her eyes to try and wake up some more.

Victoria smirked smugly in thought "actually Chloe why don't you come with us." she smirked Scooping up max "We're going Christmas shopping gland you sweetie are going too see santa" she cooed at the girl settling the small girl on her hip before slipping her into an adorable dress and a little snow coat over it. SHe took max's old camera and gave it too chloe I want lot's of pictures" she stated firmly and chloe saluted.

"Now remember max no looking through your presents" she stated firmly scooping the tiny padded brunette up as they went too the car.

Kate looked at Victoria curiously and at Chole only to smile at the thought of Max going to see Santa. That would be so cute! Knowing that there was going to be pictures was equally great and the dress was simply perfect. Kate followed Victoria outside with a grin on her face.

Max looked at Victoria with bright sparkling eyes, "Santa!" exclaimed Max excitedly and secretly still holding onto the belief that Santa was real and was just doing a really good hiding away somewhere or that the big corporations were using him to make toys. Max pouted a little at the dress. It looked so girly but if it made Victoria, Kate and Chole happy she didn't mind wearing it.

Max looked at her old camera. She had almost forgotten it completely! When was the last time she took a picture? Max folded her arms against her chest and pouted, "Mhm," mumbled Max, "okay." added the brown haired girl. She was so going to look at her presents! There was no stopping her on that front but she did get distracted easily.

Chloe put angry birds on tablet for max to play and they were off when they pulled into the mall parking lot Victoria took the tiny girl's hand and led the way she settled into line with chloe and max too see santa kate was on the otherside of max "after this chloe can go take max too the food court while we shop" she stated firmly as she checked max over combing out her hair and placing the girl's coat into her bag.

After ten minutes or so ,max was seated in Santa's lap and chloe was going nuts snapping pictures.

"Hohoho Merry Christmas max" he said even though the girl didn't supply her name. "you already have a super powers so that's off the list what else do you want fro Christmas" he whispered the powers part and pressed one finger too his lips "shh" he warned smiling jovially

(I thought a little magic wouldn't hurt and max will never doubt his exsistence after this...)
