Looking for Answers in the Wired

"Ok"She siad. She pulled out the long fork knowing she would burn herself if she didnt. She did as she was told and it turned out ok. She realy wasnt a god cook

Margaret finished adding in the spices and stired them into the tomato sauce, then turned to watch Lily.

"Hmmm, no need to be so stiff, the oil makes it hard to burn the meet." Margaret tried to reasure her friend. "You seem really nervous Lily, I take it you don't cook much?" If she had to guess the pretty girl was worried about accidently wrecking dinner.

When the girl was done she poured the spiced tomato sauce into the pan with the meat, then stirred them together. "Now we just set this on to simmer" she turned the burned down a bit, "And we prepare the noodles. You're doing great so far Lily." She figured some encouragement couldn't hurt.

Lily smiled softly "Um yeah I tend to eather mess things up or if its somthing long I pass out form the heat"She siad which sadlt wanst a jpke.

She smiled softly ata her enorugment and did what she could to help

Margaret blinked in concern. Pass out from heat? "I'm guessing you don't have a great heat tolerence. Some people just don't. You should drink some water, get a glass from that cuppard" she pointed. "Before we continue. Keeping yourself hydrated with cold water can help." While letting Lily do that she bent down and got out another pot, this one medium sized. It should do for the noodles.

Lily shugged "yeah I tendto pss out alot"She siad and sipped some water

(One time skip coming up)

After dinner Lily did the dishes and the two spent the evening watching TV.

Eventually Margaret looked at the clock. "I guess its about time for bed Lily. Do you want to sleep in the same bed again? I need to to get some more work done, so I'll be a bit late just to warn you."

Lily would love nothing more than to cuddle up in bed with her but shoke her head "I will sleep in the gust room tonight"She said and kissed her. She was doing this because she knew Marget needed her sleep and Lily would wake her up with her nightmares.

Lily kissed her and wandered off to bed. She got in with her teddy and kitty in her arms still in Margets cloths. She then driffted off to sleep.

A few ours latter Lily woke up crying but thankfult Marget couldnt hear. Lily grabbed her grandads torch and put it on . She hid under the covers with it , her teddy and her kitty and sang in teasrs for a bit untill she caled down. By the time she did this it was 4am. She knew she wouldnt get back to sleep so got up and dieded Margets house. This didnt take long and she knew she needed coffee but there was non in so she pulled on some jeans and a jaket and shoes and headed out into the darkness of the early morning to get coffee.

Margaret spent a few hours working. Mostly it was just prep work for some stuff she had to do tommorow. She was going to have to actually leave to keep some appointments. She hoped Lily wouldn't mind be alone by herself to much.

Eventually she went to be herself. She considered peaking in on Lily, but realized the door was a bit squeky and she didn't want to wake the poor girl up. So she simply climbed into be and fell alseep.

Around 4:30 she woke up having to go to the bathroom. After she finished her business she noted that Lily's door was open. Looking in she saw the bed empty. Wondering what Lily was doing up at this hour she began looking all over the house to find her friend.

Of courcse Marget couldnt find her. Lily didnt arive back till about half a hour latter.She came in from the cold morning sipping from a warm cup of coffee.

Margaret immeadiatly ran forward and pulled her friend into a hug, nearly spilling the coffee in the process. "Lily!"

Then she stepped back and held the girl at arms length. Her face turned angry. "Where the hell were you?! What were thinking just wandering off like that!? Do you know how scared I was!?"
