Looking for Answers in the Wired

"Later today if at all possible. She's free pretty much all afternoon, but earlier is better she said, so when can you get there? And can you see yourself still with Margaret in say three years from now?" Lucille's voice was perfectly sweet the whole time.

"Yeah I can get there as soon as I can . Um....oh yeah"She said blushing bright red. "Are tehse questions really impoartnat?" She aksed

"Yes as a matter of fact they are. Last time my good friend Margaret, who managed to save this job agency from going out of business after the previous manager mismanaged and ebezzled it into the ground, hooked up with a rich girlfriend who only wanted her to make an old flame jealous. She spent roughtly three weeks crying on my shoulder afterward." Lucilles voice didn't change, it was still sweet and even, like this was perfectly normal. "Now I'm worried she may have made the opposite mistake and is hooking up with a poor girl who only wants her for the money."

"Shall I tell the owner to expect you sometime after lunch then?" Lucille continued as if nothing happened.

"I love Marget I'm not going to hurt her like that bitch did. Yes please tell her I will see her after lunch.Bye thank you"She said and hung up and waddeled to Marget.

Margaret had prepared hot sandwhiches with toasted bread and melted cheese over the meat and veggies for lunch. She had just finished and was putting them on plates when Lily came in. "Hey sweetie." Lily made her comment about Margarets friends. "Ummm, okay I guess they do, that nice." She wondered what on earth made Lily say that during a call about a job. "So was there good news on the job front?"

"Oh yeah I am going to meet the owner after lucn to talk about the job and get fitted for the uniform"She smiling

"Alright Lily, you got a job already. That's wonderful." Margaret gave Lily a proud smile as she poured milk into a glass for her and put some chips on her plate. "Well I told you I had to work this afternoon, but if you tell me where the job is I can drop you off, and probably have enough time to pick you up and take you home afterwards too." She held out the plate of food to Lily. "I'm really proud of you sweetie." She gave Lily a peck on the cheek.

Lily took the plate and smiled and giggled "I'm glad"She siad smiling happily.

( should marget maybe set up the christmas stuff for lily but lily calls syaing not to pick her up as she bumped into her fined and will be home latter so marget feels a little lonly ?)

"Just so we're clear though Lily, I don't have a problem with you being my live in girlfriend who spends all her time lying around the house watching tv and eating bon-bons, but I'm still glad you got a job like you wanted." Margaret smiled at her friend as she ate her sandwhich.
