Lost and found (for me and sahara only)

Young Jani Seguchi was running away from his home, running away from the parents he had learned to hate after everything he had been through. He was currently walking through the streets of some area he had never been before, some new town or city he decided to go to just to get away from everything. He only had a backpack around his back, holding his most precious possessions as he only cared to pack what he really needed or wanted. The only clothes he had were the ones on him at the moment and they looked quite dirty and tattered. He looked practically homeless if you took one look at him but he actually had a home. The keyword was had since he ran away from it. He just wanted to start anew and get away from everything that happened. Though he seemed quite scared from this new area he was in. Though he was also quite hungry as well since he hadn't eaten anything decent since he left. Well if one wanted to call his last meal before leaving decent that was. But he felt so hungry he almost felt he could barely continue on walking because of how weak he felt.

Abigail Williams a women in her mid thirties so happened to be taking a stroll through town on her way to visit her son's grave he would have been ten years old today but due to the car accident two years ago since then he became a bitter sweet memory. As she walked down the street she noticed a young boy walking around in tattered clothes and a look on his face that read lost and confused. Walking over to the child she gentle tapped him on the shoulder and asked in a soft tone "excuse me young man but you seemed lost is there anything I could do to help you?" Although she could tell he was more than just lost she didn't want to jump to any conclusions, although it pained her knowing that the young boy was probably starving and had no home she resisted the urge to immediately take the child home and give him the proper care he desperately needed. with a warm smile she spoke to the child once more "And if you don't mind can you tell me your name."

Jani continued to look around the streets, looking for somewhere he could rest only due to having walked for quite awhile and was in desperate need of some rest right now. Though he jumped a bit at the gentle tap to his shoulder, looking around as he soon noticed a woman near him before blinking some as he could see she was talking to him. "N-No I am fine. Really I am. I was just walking around is all." He said, obviously lying through his teeth but hoping the woman wouldn't notice his lie at all. When he heard her ask for his name he looked down some, wondering if he should trust this woman or not. "W-Well I was told not to talk to strangers really. But then again I don't really know who you are." He said, at least wanting to know who he was talking to before giving out his name. It felt the right thing to do in his eyes at least.

Seeing straight through the boy she knew he was lying but wanting to see how this played out she went with it "well my name is Abigail Williams" she said extending her hand so the boy could shake. In the back of her mind Abigail worried that the boy would just flee in fear or discomfort she didn't want to see another child to be lost.ever since her son died she couldn't stop thinking of what she could have done for him and seeing the boy she didn't want to miss the chance to help this child in his hour if need.

Jani looked at the woman as he heard her say her name, seeing her extend her hand out to him as he blinked some. "W-Well since you told me your name I guess I can tell you mine. My name is Jani Seguchi." He said, slowly reaching out for the hand though seeming a bit hesitant about it as he still didn't know this person. What if they turned out to be some kinda crazy person and would try to eat him or something? He may be young but he still had the thoughts most kids did when they were lost and saw a stranger talking to them. "U-Uh so where exactly am I?" He asked, his hand now only a slight few inches away from the woman's hand as he was still a little hesitant about shaking it.

Abigail saw that Jani was hesitant about shaking her Hand. When he stoped only a few inches away she grasped his hand with gentle and warm hand shake ,his hands were practically ice and his grip was very weak it was obvious that it had been a long time since he has eaten. Abigail said with a smile"see I don't bite,I know it must be scary if you're lost in a place you don't know but there are good people in this world . Now as for your question we are in downtown part of Wakefield. Are you hungry Jani I know a great little dinner that isn't to far from here would you care to join me?"

Jani soon felt Abigail grip his hand gently, feeling the warm hand shaking his hand as he had to admit it felt rather nice to feel something warm for once right now. He listened to what she said to him, blinking some as he heard he was basically being offered food for right now. "T-This place is called Wakefield? Well it seems like a decent place to be. And well yeah it can be scary when in a new place I suppose. Too many people staring at me. A-And well I am kinda hungry. I can't remember the last time I really ate anything." He said, figuring he should probably get something to eat to calm his stomach down so he could at least get some strength back.

Holding on to the boy's hand Abigail lead him towards the dinner which was around the corner of the west end of town it would be a good ten minute walk, she intended to use this time to get to know more about Jani. "Don't lay them any mind they aren't used to having new people around town Wakefield is a very small community we don't get visitors very often so they are probably just curious, speaking of which where are you from Jani and where are you parents " she said seeing if her suspicions were true or not. As they rounded the corner the dinner was in site, looking at it from the out side it looked like a rundown hole in the wall with a old neon sign having outside flashing open in red letters.

Jani felt Abigail hold onto his hand, following her to where the diner was. He listened to what she said, nodding some as he figured it was just like any place he would go to. Though when asked where he was from he simply wasn't sure how to answer that. "U-Uhm like 3 states over. And I don't wanna talk about my parents. So please don't bring them up again." He said, clearly not in the mood to talk about the very people he ran away from in the first place. He soon saw the diner come into view, seeing how it looked as he blinked some. "That is a diner?" He asked with confusion in his voice.

Hearing the answer to her questions only conformed her suspicions, in a solemn tone Abigail calmly said "you're a runaway aren't you?" She knew this might cause the boy to leave but she had to absolutely know if this child was on his own, "you don't have to lie to me it is pretty obvious that you have been on the run for a while, but at least let me buy you a meal before you leave and if you ever need a home to stay come find me I would hate to see a boy like you starve in the streets." She said with a sad somber tone.
