Yu of course notices this, and quickly moves to help.

"Oh gosh sorry about that, Yukiko," Yu says, with an embarrassed smile as she takes the glass from her hand and sets it on the table to keep her from spilling it in her fits. After, her laughter has started to dissipate, she turns to Chie. "So Chie," Yu says to strike up a conversation and hopefully get her ravenous friend to slow down. "I never really got a chance to congratulate you two on your new relationship. I did always think you'd make a great couple."

Of course Yukiko stops laughing and immediately goes bright red at this, glancing away bashfully.

Chie too, would turn red and bashful at the mention of their relationship. "Yeah uh... thank you" she said awkwardly as she looked away and rubbed the back of her neck. "New" perhaps wasn't the best way to describe their relationship, but it was new to others at least.

Seeing both girls blushing, Yu can't help but chuckle and decide to have a little fun.

"Or maybe I should be congratulating you two on going, PUBLIC with your relationship," Yu says with a bit of a mischevious grin. "I remember you were quite the Shining Knight whenever we went into the TV world and Yukiko was around..." She adds with a wink.

Chie began whining like a toddler. "Hey stop that!" She huffed, crossing her arms.

"She makes a good point Chie" Yukiko chimed in, wanting to get in on the teasing. "I wonder how long you had a crush on me for"

Chie's blush tripled in size. She began pouting and looking away, refusing to speak.

"Now, now Yukiko," Yu says, turning her attention on her other friend, with the same devious smile. "I hardly think it's fair for you to tease her like that, considering how I remember the way you would swoon whenever you watched Chie in battle..." She says with another wink. "I think we can all agree there were mutual feelings for quite some time."

Yukiko blushed as Yu changed targets. "Mmmh... but Chie said the L word first." The shy girl pointed out

"You're the one who asked me if I loved you!" Chie retorted, trying to turn the tables on Yukiko.

"Aww that's adorable," Yu says, and with a flourish wraps her arms around both girls and pulls them into a hug. "Listen to you two bickering about who loves who more. It's so sweet," Yu says almost cooing, clearly now trying to lay the embarrassment on equally. "Like I said I always knew you two would make the cutest couple ever."

"Like I said, I noticed both of you. After all a good leader should be able to read her team," Yu says patting them both on the back before releasing the hug. "But enough about prying into your love lives. It's getting late so let's finish up dinner." Yu says, serving herself one of the last few pieces.

Yukiko nodded and sat back down to eat, this time a bit quicker than before thanks to the bib.

Chie continued to eat as she always did. By the end she had stains all over her shirt.
