Memory of the Babyish CPU (Private for Shirayuki)

Noire didn't seem to mind being told to go get her stuff before they left, in fact she was kind of glad that Plutia had reminded her of it since she had sort of had it slip her mind. "Okay momma!" the newly made babyish CPU responded back to her as she went and helped her with carrying their things. As she done all that, Noire didn't even think about what the current state of their protection could even be in at the moment. To be honest, she didn't even really think about it any...it kind of seemed like it was something that always escaped her attention for some reason.

The trip back to Planeptune's basilicom from the train station itself was a relatively peaceful one for them. They had made sure to worn clothes that wouldn't have been out of place compared to everyone else and diaper covers worn over their diapers, even if Noire didn't really get why Plutia had insisted that she had to wear them. When they finished the short trip there, they found Histoire was waiting for them inside the basilicom's main entrance. Thankfully for the two, she had foresight enough to order everyone else clear from the room before they arrived so for the moment the three were alone.

"Welcome back you two! It's so good to have you back home!" Histoire kindly told the two. "Did the trip to Lowee go as well as you hoped?" She then asked them right afterwards. Though she did take a glance over an Noire and even if she hadn't spoken yet, Histoire did notice that Noire seemed...a little different now. But while she already had an vague idea of what happened, she would let the two have a chance to tell her about it first.

Plutia gave Histoire a warm smile as they finally returned back to the Planeptunian Basilicom, "Thank you..." She said, "The trip was really fun! But...". The lavender-haired girl looked towards her friend, a twinge of anxiety in her voice. Noire's current state isn't exactly what they thought it was going to be... especially her now padded predicament, becoming a CPU just like her. Normally, a CPU would have went out to form their own nation now, but her situation is just... too complex for Plutia to think too much on.

"Um... Noire, can you be nice and stay here? I'll play with you later!" Plutia said, before turning to Histoire with a rather different look. A little... fearful, though that wasn't the best way to describe it. "Can we talk about it somewhere else?" She said. Really, for some odd reason, it's almost as if Plutia's the mature one out of the bunch now... though it wasn't exactly a high bar to clear.

"Hi Histy!" Noire started to let out in a cheerful and upbeat tone, clearly childish in nature, as well towards the mini-sized techno-fairy in front of them. She was about to tell her that she was a goddess now, but Plutia had started talking first so she was going let her finish. The whole time the goddess of Planeptune was speaking though, Noire wasn't able to pick up on the slight feeling of fear that Plutia was giving off...to her everything, even her own memories, were like they were submerged in murky water so that she struggled to figure out all but the most simple of concepts. So when her lavender-haired friend asked her to stay here with the promise that she'd play, Noire simply smiled at Plutia as she responded back to her like nothing was wrong "O-Oh, okay momma. I'll try my best and stay here for you." before then heading over to one of the chairs and sitting down in it. She didn't even care that her current sitting posture made her dress hike up a bit and reveal the diaper cover that she wore over her diaper to anyone that saw her, but at least no one inside the basilicom would make a deal out of that sight as it was a bit normal for everyone there.

Histoire, however, did notice the slight trepidation in Plutia's tone...and it had to make her wonder what exactly had happened on that trip. And she also picked up a bit that Plutia seemed...more mature than she was before she had left, but the fairy wasn't convinced that it could be something outside of her mind playing tricks on her at the moment. "...Yes, we can" Histoire replied back to Plutia. "Lets do so in my office. We'll have no one to overhear us in there."

Once confirming that Noire was going to stay still where Plutia had asked her to, the blond-haired fairy led Planeptune's goddess into her office a short walk away. As they entered, Histoire made a motion to Plutia to let her sit down in a chair is she needed to rest a bit (she herself didn't need it since she rode on-top of a floating book). But otherwise, the floating fairy begun by telling Plutia in a concerned tone once the door was closed "We're alone now so you don't have to feel nervous about telling me anything. I just want to say to begin with though that I noticed that you seem either a bit sad or worried. I just want to tell you that no matter what, I'll be here to support you and help you however much I can."

"Um, um..." Plutia fidgeted a little, a little uncertain on how to explain the whole ordeal that was the playdate. Which had spiraled into something quite... severe, in any case. She really didn't know how Histy was going to react to the whole situation - though, given Noire and her conversation before they set off, realistically she could've been expecting it the entire time.

So she began all the way from the beginning. Their arrival at Lowee's basillicom, the little 'playtime' that resulting in her transforming into her HDD form, then to Noire's decision to take up one of the CPU memories that can be found in the world - which, after the encounter with the Vader... well, resulting in her becoming a 'lesser CPU' of sorts. She also mentioned what Blanc said about her, about how she isn't able to form her own nation and had to rely on Planeptune's shares, but she wasn't confident enough about the subject to explain it to her.

"So, there's that..." Plutia said, holding one a doll she had stitched together quite recently of Blanc's CPU form. Curiously, it seems a bit of her memories had come back enough, that, with a bit of meticulous crafting, she was able to once again make dolls like she used to - though the craftmanship was still much more inferior than before.

Histoire listened to what Plutia had to tell her, though she fully figured out what happened mid-way through. Still, to be courteous, she let her finish the rest of what she wanted to say before she would start to speak. When she did, Histoire let out to Plutia "I see...poor Noire T_T. She took a flawed CPU, didn't she? I told her about the risks of it, but she must have thought that the situation was dire enough that she was willing to do it to help her friend in that moment. Well either way, we cannot change what has happened. All we can do now is to help her however we can."

Then, to try to cheer Plutia up, then told her with a kind tone "You don't have to worry about Noire, I'll make sure that she can stay here with us. Thankfully, her being a Planeptune CPU...even if one with some issues...will make it easy for me to do what I have to to keep her here with us. She needs a group of loving friends right now to help her, so we have to make sure she's happy here. All you have to worry about for right now is looking after her, since she'll need all the support she can get." While Histoire would offer to help with that, she was aware that her tiny body made doing physical labor...pretty hard so she wasn't sure she could do much for Noire beyond stuff that involved just telling her things.

Histoire also noticed the doll that Plutia held, and the fact that it was a newer doll. Even if crudely made, it would speak that Plutia's skills were improving which was a bit unexpected given she was a CPU. This wasn't the time to talk about it however, so the fairy put it aside to get back to at a later date.

"Okay..." She nodded, looking towards the door and beyond to where Noire currently resided. At least Histoire didn't get mad or anything, though she did wonder why Noire decided it would've been a good idea - she could've just transformed herself, couldn't she...? It would've been way better in the long run if Noire actually got an proper CPU memory, but what's done is done now. "Thank you, Histy..." She said "What do we do now?"

"Well first, before you head back out to her, I think I should check to make sure you know what happened with Noire. You know some of them at least, but it wouldn't hurt to tell you all that I know about Noire's state." Histoire answered Plutia. Then without waiting, she went and told her "It is as you said, She can't go make her own nation so she's dependent on the share energy from another nation once she was linked to it. You linked her to Planeptune with your actions, so she's now a Planeptune CPU...with some special caveats."

Histoire then continued telling Plutia, with some new information to the lavender-haired goddess this time "One of those caveats is that you can freely give Noire some of your share energy whenever you feel like it. Just be mindful of when you do so, as Noire will lose it after a bit. Flawed CPUs like Noire don't gain the ability to hold share energy inside them, outside of the little they need to live, but instead constantly leak out any that they happen to posses because they can't hold it in. So that means that Noire will not be able to enter HDD at all like you can unless you give her some of your share energy for her to do so, but even if you do she wouldn't be able to stay in HDD for awhile unless you give her a massive amount of it...which I would advise against doing."

Finally winding down her mini-lecture to Plutia, she told her to round things off "Finally, flawed CPUs are just like normal CPUs in that they tend to be babyish. Though their flawed state makes it so that they have even more problems with being able to be capable with being mature on their own. I believe that is what she called you 'momma', as her mind probably struggles to recall your proper name because that's too 'mature' of an act for her now." After a moment's pause, she then told Plutia "And that's all I think that you should know about Noire's condition for right now, but if you want to ask me anything about it then I'll do my best to tell you. Otherwise, you can head back out to Noire now while I handle on getting Noire's arrangements to stay here with you settled."

To be quite frank, Plutia got a little lost halfway through the explanation, but she understood enough to comprehend the general gist of the situation - Noire was essentially a planeptune CPU now, but she needed a constant source of share energy from her to stay in HDD form. Though she was quick to notice Histoire making living arrangements for her though; They'll still be together after all, just like before... with a small reversal in roles.

"Is there any chance for her to become better?" Plutia asked. She didn't know 100% what Noire thought about her situation, but becoming a full CPU was surely better than leaking everything (literally) out of her, right? She still wasn't quite used to the regressed Noire as of now anyways.

Histoire listened to Plutia's question, and quickly sought to recall what she could use as a suitable answer. "It'll take three days to go through all the information I happen to have for a detailed answer, which I acknowledge would take to long to get for just a simple answer." She then stated to Plutia before then continuing on. "So all I can say is...I don't know. I do think that there is a small chance for her to get better, yes. Much like how other normal CPUs mature in mind when given the chance to do so, away from infantile impulses. But since Noire became one through a flawed CPU, the path she might have to get like that will be much harder for her as I imagine that the infantile impulses she has to be much stronger on her compared to you and Blanc. Enough so that I wouldn't expect any sort of signs of her improving to be able to be seen for years, at least, if she does happen to improve her mental state."

"I... I guess I'll wait." Plutia nodded uncertainly. Years? It seemed quite a long time... but with their livespans, it shouldn't be too big of a deal. She'll have to make do with things as of now "I'll go play with Noire now, alright?" She asked Histoire to be dismissed. At least the answer was clear to her - she'll eventually wake up from her senses, just as she... partially did. At least they'll be together... it's kind of amusing that she'll be the one taking care of her now.
