Palutena clapped her hands together, and she wore a cheerful smile on her face as she spoke. "That settles it, then! Meet me at the arena and we can get this started with!" And with that, the three headed off. Pit and Dark Pit now stood opposite of each other, prepared for battle. Palutena's Temple was chosen as the stage, partially because it's what they were familiar with the most and partially so Palutena could have a front row seat. She also decided to take on the duties of commentary. "We've got a match for the ages here, as Pit and Pittoo take on each other in a battle for pride and humiliation!" Dark Pit scoffed at the nickname given to him, but he doubted she could hear him. "Neither angel wants to end up being padded by the Goddess of Light, but at the same time they also want to inflict that same fate on the other! Who will win? Let's find out!"

Dark Pit had to admit, he did feel a little bit nervous. The idea of being treated like and infant by that hag shook him to the bone, but he'd never show that in front of Pit.

Pit was visibly sweating as he took hold of his weapon, he couldn’t allow himself to lose now. He wasn’t sure if the commentary was helping ease his nerves or making them worse, he couldn’t pay much attention to it either way with his heart beating in his ears. Though this would be his only chance to humiliate his rival and he was ready to take this risk.

The Announcer counted down the 3-2-1, and the moment he shouted "Go!" they were off. The angels charged at each other, but Dark Pit soon took the initiative with a dropkick straight into Pit's face! This was followed up by a short burst of arrows that all struck their target, and by now Pit was completely on the backfoot.

"Ouch! A rough start for Pit as he's quickly knocked back and off his feet! Could this already be signifying doom for the Captain of the Guard?"

Pit grunted as his foes attacks landed and hr hadn’t as much landed a scratch on him! Pit quickly regained his footing and fired his own barrage of arrows, if he could regain some ground, he could bring this back! Or at least that’s what he thought.

The arrows coming from Pit managed to slow down Dark Pit just enough to allow him to get a moment of respite. Dark Pit is forced to let up on his attack temporarily and jump to the above platform to avoid Pit's attacks. This would prove to be the opportunity the other angel needed, and he pushed forward to gain the initiative.

Pit used his opponent’s shirt retreat to follow up his attacks quickly, he followed his opponent up onto the platform and began in a flurry of slashes against him, helping him gain the upper hand.

"But Pit makes a comeback! It seems like he's determined to stay in his pants for the time being. Pittoo, however, is a different case." Dark Pit had to reluctantly agree with Palutena's commentary, he really did lose the initiative here. However, it was what she said next that really ticked him off. "Maybe this is the end for Pittoo. It might be all but inevitable at this point that he's launched off the stage and loses the match, doomed to be a diaperboy to the Goddess he so despises. Is this the grim fate that's in store for him?" He could sense that she was taunting him, basking in the knowledge that he was about to be at her mercy. Dark Pit intended to avoid this outcome at all costs. Letting out a battle cry, he lashed back out at Pit, using both of his dagger-swords to keep pushing the angel back further and further. Soon he would be close to the edge, and that would be the time for Dark Pit to land the finishing blow.

Perhaps it was Pit’s own incompetence or his ego growing too big from Plautena’s commentary but he found himself to be thinking he had an easy win. Perhaps it was for this reason that he was suddenly on the receiving end of Dark Pit’s offense. He was sent off the stage but far enough just yet, if he could at least recover he still had a chance at this!

Dark Pit made sure that didn't happen, as he soon leaped off the stage himself and struck Pit repeatedly mid-air with his blades, sending him further back. One more repeat of this motion and Pit had officially been knocked out of the arena, putting an end to the matchup.

"Dark Pit wins! Dark Pit wins! It's official, folks, Pit is the loser of this matchup. And we all know what that means..." The three of them then spawned back in the mansion itself, with Pit still laying down in exhaustion from the flurry of strikes he just took. "Enjoy wearing that diaper, Pit-Stain!" Dark Pit uttered out at his twin, before walking off and leaving the angel alone with Palutena.

“N-no!” Pit yelled as he was teleported off the ring, officially losing his match his twin. Pit frowned and blushed, he could not believe he had lost after he’s tried so hard to win! “N-no! I-I call for a rematch please!” Pit tried to beg.
