Hermione sighed as she turned another page of the dusty old tomb. She had thought that finally being given dispensation to access parts of the restricted section would reveal all sorts of fascinating things about the magical world to her, but as it turned out it was far more mundane. Histories of evil wizards and their gruesome deeds, mentions of spells that young students shouldn't really know about. But nothing like what she had imagined she'd find. No potion recipes or new insights into magical theory.

As she shifted in her seat, she became acutely aware of the feeling of her full bladder, and became irritated. Due to renovations, the nearest toilets were a 15 minute walk away, and she had already lost several hours of study today to dealing with her bodily needs.

At that moment, a brainwave hit her. Getting up and scanning the shelves carefully, she came across what she was looking for, a book on spells related to the human body. Eyes starting to droop from lack of sleep and staying up late, she eventually stumbled across what she was looking for - a spell on bathroom control.

If she had been slightly more alert, or slightly less impatient, she might have taken the time to read the warnings that came with the spell instructions, or read the effects in detail. However she only read the immediate blurb on how it would eliminate her need for toilet breaks, and decided that was good enough.

With a swish and flick, she uttered the works on the page and completed the spell with a flash of light.

Recovering from the sudden light, she muttered about after effects before noticing that there was something that felt different. Realising her seat felt different, she lifted up her skirt to reveal a thick, plastic backed disposable nappy wrapped tightly around her loins.

Indignant about being tricked by someones idea of a joke spell, she jumped up before reaching under her skirt ti try and pull it off, having first checked if anyone was nearby at this time of day.

It didn't budge. No matter how hard she tried, it didn't budge. She tried unlocking spells. Nothing. Now she was beginning to panic.

"Alright, new plan." she thought to herself. Go back to our dorm and try using your scissors." she packed the book for reference - maybe there was something in there about undoing the charm.

As she moved, she noticed to her dismay that the nappy was making her waddle a bit. As she exited that section of the library, she saw Harry, and realised he was walking in her direction.

It was about time for the students to get back to their dorms for the night, but Harry needed to stop by the library to get a book for potions on the next day, so he wore his simple dress shirt and tie, along with his Gryffindor robe. As he was on the way he noticed Hermione in a bit of a panic. "Hermione are you alright?" he asks while stopping to talk to a friend anyway.

At the moment he didn't hear any crinkles, and knew that generally the librarian kicked her out at the last call for students to go to their dorm for the night. Mostly, he wanted his book though, and didn't expect anything serious.

"Oh, H-h-hi harry." she said quickly as she approached. She wasn't sure how loud the crinkle of the nappy was, but it seemed deafening to her. "What are you doing here so late|?" she asked nervously, trying to keep cool under the circumstances. "please don't notice the waddle, please don't notice the waddle." she said over and over in her mind.

She just hoped to get through this quickly. Though now she thought on it, harry might be the one person she could trust on this issue who wouldn't either turn her in to the teachers for messing with curses, or turn her into a laughing stock if they found out, like Ron.

She decided to keep that as a last resort. For now, she was still hoping a quick trip to her dorm and a pair of scissors could solve the issue.

"Well I need to retrieve a book for tomorrow's potion class. I try not to do this, but even the great Harry Potter is human" he says with a light smile. So I have to head in for a moment. Read anything exhilarating tonight?' he asks to add that.

He noticed Hermione fidgeting, but left it alone as some sort of stress maybe?. "If you're busy I'll catch up with you later" he adds.

"Heh, alright, I guess I'l see you in class then." she mumbled, trying to make small talk as she tried to move around him. "Uh, no, nothing too interesting." she blurted, trying not to blush.

"Uh, yeah, sounds good. I'l see you in class on Monday then?" she said as she took a step away. With a yell, she realised too late she had stepped onto some over-polished piece of flood, and skidded and fell. Landing on her side, her skirt blown out, leaving the nappy in clear view of harry, who had turned around when he heard her yell.

Harry nodded and walked past her, until she fell of course. When that happened he turned then slowly went to her side and saw the diaper on her and how thick it was. He then reached over and pulled her skirt down then tried to take her hands. "Hermione, are you okay?" he asks then looked around. "Bloody floors. Sometimes magic is just too good" he says then looked around hoping no one else was headed their way.

Hermione blushed a crimson red as Harry helped with her skirt and then took his hand as she got pulled up.

"T-t-thanks, Harry." she mumbled. "I take it you saw the nappy then?" she asked nervously. "I can explain, I promise."

"Of course I saw it, but I didn't want to address that part" he says as he helped her stand. "It looks like no one is coming our way. I'm sure you'll tell me, but why don't you head back to the dorm, or would you mind waiting for me to get my book?" he asks

As harry went into the library, she felt her bladder wince, and remembered that she still had to pee. She shifted from side to side, the nappy crinkling as she did so. Why did it seem so loud?

Harry returned swiftly with book in hand. He stood by Hermione. "Okay, what's going on?" he asks while looking at her. "Have you always worn nappies?" he asks quietly.
