Ruby felt her eye twitch, that image now in her head. Once Caring had said that, Ruby's hoof slipped off the part she was holding, a small metal piece hitting the floor with a clang. "I-I uhm..." Sweet Celestia, usually when Autumn would tease her like that, she wouldn't be able to say a word. Anything that would come out of her mouth would just be gibberish. Now it was happening with Caring. Just great. Cursing to herself as Caring had started to walk away, Ruby looked back to the gun she was working on.

Ember had been content on the floor, playing with a few toys that had been left out for her by Caring. Most of them blocks and such, the other some truck with the words Sparkle Cola Plastered on the side. Ember still played with the toy, even though she wasent the biggest fan of the sparkle cola soda. To her it was just to fizzy for her. Once Caring had started to walk by, Ember put her hooves up, wanting to be picked up by Caring. Mommy and Momma were obviously busy so she figure that she could spent some time with Grandma a bit. Not that she would actually call Caring that.

Caring giggled, Ruby was far to easy to tease like that, yet when she walked by the only actual filly here she picked her up and gave her a gentle nuzzle. Now how is the little filly doing today?Enjoying being like this?" She asked warmly, starting towards the kitchen;Autumn and Ruby never did get that meal she'd promised the two of them. Plus she had a better shot and getting Ruby to eat some actual pony food if little Ember helped cook it. "Do you want to help me make dinner? By then mommy will be back with everything setup." Well if nothing went wrong, and with her two charge's track record she knew that she was almost going to have another heart attack, even if before that technically wasn't possible.

Ember nodded, laying comfortably on Caring's back. It was just so warm and soft that she had to stop herself from falling asleep. "What are we cooking? snack cakes? Can you even cook those? I had like a Thousand Snack cakes once! I had a bad tummy ache but they were sooo good!" With that she started rambling on and on, jumping from topic to topic. Though she stopped for a moment, hearing a yell from Ruby in the other room, apparently having burned herself. "LUNA CLOP ME WITH HER WINGS, THAT HURT!". Ember was silent for a moment before speaking up again. "Does Momma say stuff like that alot?" She asked.

Caring gave a tiny smile, her horn lighting and bringing over flour, sugar, some heavy cream, and a few other ingredients. "If you want some buck cakes then we can make some." She stated, listening to what she had to say, or at least until that happened. "I certainly hope not Ember, that isn't good language." She stated,popping a pacifier in the filly's mouth before setting her down and heading back into the nursery. "Now what happened that made something like that need to be said around the Foal little gem?" Her voice had a stern but loving tone to it, just letting her know she was in trouble.

Ruby had been waving her hoof in front of her, some of the powder she had been working with in one of the guns had ignited, burning her hoof a little. Not enough for major damage to her, just some singed fur on her leg and a small burn. "Powder ignited." She said, putting her hoof down, for a moment thinking that Autumn not Caring was behind her. "Just a small burn is all, nothing to get Caring about or any-" Ruby froze when she turned around seeing Caring standing over her, that stern look of her she knew all to well. "Luna Dammit." She mumbled, putting on a fake smile. "H-Hi M-Mommy..."

Caring though heard that mumble too, happy she'd left her in the kitchen, with the advantage of having security cams to monitor her. "No need to tell me huh?" She asked carefully, letting the magi-hands bring down some burn cream which she took in her magic and pulled out Ruby's hoof, starting to rub it into the burn. She was still her mother after all. "You knowgood and well foals don't use that kind of language, I let it slide around Storm and the mercs, but you have a foal,and she will not be speaking like that around Grandma, go get an implement from the shelf in my office, I'll be waiting in here for you to come back." She ordered firmly, knowing she'd know she meant one for punishment and not one of the pleasure ones.

Ruby didn't move, just sitting still and staring at Caring. "B-But Mom! I didn't even mean to say it! It just kinda came out!" She argued. "Plus, you didn't say anything when I cursed around Storm!" The onyl reason Ruby was still doing this was solely because she didn't want to get spanked. First it was Caring temping her with her rear being "filled" now it was suddenly, go to the office and get something so I could punish you. They already had enough of that back at the Talon camp. In front of multiple Talons she could add. "Can we just...Let it slide?"

Caring though needed this explained, though at the camp was taken into consideration as well... Still she shook her head."That was because it was your mother, do you really want to hear your daughter cussing like that to you young lady?" She asked, fixing her with a look. "I'll only give you six swats if you go now, you know good and well that I need to do this or else you won't learn. Unless... you'd rather take no soda for a week?" Of course there was the knowledge that here it was ice cold, and they had every kind ever made in a decent stock...

"If Ember started cursing around me i'd be impressed and would be laughing. Autumn wouldn't like it to much." Shaking her head before she could get to lost in her own thoughts, Ruby got up, starting to make her way to Caring's office. "At least put my guns on a work bench or something mom!" She called out. With all these punishments lately, she was surprised that her rear didn't just fall off. Most likely at that point, Autumn would go on about how medically that wasent possible. Shaking her head, she headed inside the small room. Once Ruby had picked out what Caring was going to use, a simple wooden paddle, she made her way back to Caring, holding the grip of the paddle in her mouth.

Caring gave a small shake of her head, placing the guns on the workbench. She didn't like hurting them, but this was something that was genuinely needed. She took the paddle once she came back in though, going to pet the changing table. "Six swats, and would you like it if Autumn were the one punishing you instead?" Her daughter may have been a mercenary, but in a private setting, or in overall life, that behavior was not the best to raise a daughter; especially after the great harmony. Plus like this she had control over how much punishment her daughter was getting, and that was key.
