Melinda softly smiled as she let the young man in, finding it rather humorous how everyone else was to be mostly well dressed, while the first “guest” was in the most embarrassing outfit. “It’s good to see you again, dear. How have you been?”

Lyra was just blushing over her seemingly being fawned over by both Niobe and Bernadette.

"All is well in my household," said the man, named Geoffrey Paul, "Anytime Niobe puts together a soiree, you can expect me on the RSVP list."

Bernadette just continued to nuzzle the adorable wolf girl, looking forward to dinner and beyond.

"That's wonderful to hear then. Come on then, let's not keep her waiting." Melinda began to lead Geoffrey to the table where everyone else was, softly smiling all the while.

The wolf girl, meanwhile, was as flustered as can be as she sat there, closing her eyes and trying to not seem all that nervous.

Geoffrey followed after the maid, being very refined with each step he took. When his gaze fell upon Niobe, he said, "Ah, you look lovely as ever, my lady.'

Niobe giggled. "Why, thank you, Geoff. And you look dapper as ever."

Bernadette got up and looked at Geoffrey, surprised to see him here as well. Was he just here to be a guest of the party, or for the sake of seeing Lyra’s padded bum? Only time would tell!

The wolf girl, meanwhile…well, she wasn’t all that amused with this. Poor Lyra wasn’t able to do a darn thing as more people would slowly and inevitably fill the room.

Geoffrey made his way over to Niobe to kiss the back of her hand, evidently pleased to be in her presence.

But soon as he did that, he turned to the adorable wolf girl seated beside her. "Ah, this must be that lovely pet you opted to take in. She really is as adorable as I have heard."

Lyra was even more flustered as she heard that statement. The wolf girl could only really kick her feet a little awkwardly as she heard that, tail wagging even if her face was full of nerves and shock.

But as she sat there and saw the eyes of nearly everyone on her, she could feel herself getting a bit more nervous. Stage fright but to an even stronger extent.

"Careful, everybody," Niobe cautioned her guests, "I just started getting her used to her new role as my houseguest/pet. Too much affection could send her back into her shell."

"Well then, I'll be more mindful of her feelings," said Geoffrey, moving to take his own seat.

“Well, I imagine it wouldn’t be hard for the to go back to it considering how recently you got her. But I’ll try to keep my hands off of her for now! Don’t want you losing your cool completely, cutie.” Bernadette smiled and gave the wolf girl a soft pat on her head before sitting down, taking a moment to adjust her outfit.

Lyra did feel even more nervous now, although for a less obvious reason. The whole room essentially had their eyes on her, and had to be mindful of her. It was a rather embarrassing thing to go through, even moreso when you’re still in diapers in front of people.

On that note, her padding had been very hard for the miss, even though they had not known to look for it. Geoffrey leaned closer to Niobe and asked, "Is she diapered out of necessity or because it's what you decided for her?"

"More the latter," Niobe informed her gentleman caller, "Though soon enough, the former will apply, too."
