A question about roleplays

One of my characters has trauma from his family that is technically child abuse. Am I allowed to roleplay him?

personally we prefer characters to be played as adults of the age of consent.

My character is 18, yes, and he has a bad past. Is it okay if I bring up his past trauma up in a roleplay? It won't be roleplayed out, just referenced.

just as long as the situation is implied and not played out, we try to avoid non-consensual situations especially those under the age of consent as more often than not some take issues which can end up being more trouble than they are worth.

Sorry for not replying sooner! But thank you for the answer.

I also have another question about one of my other characters. He's an adult, but has the mind and actions of a child. Is that allowed?

kinda tough, as it sounds like it plays into rejuve, granted it hasnt been an issue here.. but it was a pretty big issue on one of our sister sites (AnimeOTK) for a bit, though that was more about adult bodies becoming younger.

this however is a little different, though personally lm not sure l like the idea if that makes sense due to the nature of roleplays, its one thing to have a past but it feels like another thing to subject a childlike adult to something (even if that wasnt the intent of the character, some non-participant to said RP could end up twisting it).
