Applejack gave a soft sigh, but was happy to help out her friend - especially when it meant not having to do any more laundry than what was absolutely necessary. The farm pony leaned over the bed to get a good reach, and attempted to help Rainbow with her diaper. "Just . . . sit still an' Ah'll help ya, alright?" she commanded, lightly lifting Dash's bottom and sliding the diaper under her. She slid her rainbow tail through the small tail hole provided in the back of the diaper, and backed away again. "There ya go. Are ya able ta take it from here?" Applejack asked. "If it's really too much trouble, Ah'll gladly finish it," Applejack told her.

It wasn't until this point that Applejack started to feel somewhat strange. Here she was, instructing one of her best friends on how to properly put on a diaper. Now, looking down on her bedridden friend, halfway through a "change," it actually made Applejack feel . . . embarrassed? Come to think of it, this was sort of out of the ordinary, and truth be told, it made her blush just the teeniest bit. She turned away slightly to hide it, but kept her question in the air, in case Rainbow actually still needed help.

Rainbow blushed, but let Applejack slide on the diaper, as she watchdog helplessly. Not that she intended to fight it, but she didn't like the fact that she couldn't resuscitation if she wanted to. "No, I've got it from here," she said, reaching down and grabbing the front, folding it over herself too low and taping it on at a bad angle, so it hung loose and worthless around her. "Like that?" She asked, embarrassed but at least comforted that she wouldn't have to deal with wetting the bed again. "Um... AJ? You okay?" She asked, noticing her look away.

"Huh? Oh, um," Applejack stuttered, looking down on Rainbow's hack-job of a diapering. After realizing her own embarrassment, Applejack's face grew hotter. "Just . . . let me," she trailed, reaching back over without Rainbow's confirmation and untabbing the diaper, pulling it tighter and at a better angle before retabbing it. Upon seeing her work, Applejack had to admit that the diaper looked a lot more natural on Rainbow. It was rather small, since it was from Apple Bloom's foal years, but it must have been during her last days of wearing, since it didn't cut off circulation or anything. It just seemed a little tight, but it would definitely do its job should the need arise. "There," Applejack sighed, still attempting to think about something else that wasn't quite so odd.

"I... What are you? Oh. Thanks..." Rainbow said, as Applejack fixed her diaper up. "Let's hope I don't need to use it though." There was a pause, and she cleared her throat. "Uh, could I get some rest again now? Sorry, but I don't really need anything and I can't help you, so I think I'd like to nap some more." Until she healed she wouldn't be able to practice, so she needed to get well as soon as possible.

Applejack nodded. "Of course," she replied, turning. "Oh, and c'n I getcha anythin'? the farm pony offered. "A book? Nothin'?

"Nope, I just want to nap. Maybe later the new Daring Do book would be cool, but I'm fine right now," Rainbow said, rolling over so that her diaper was covered up by the blankets. 'Thanks again, AJ."

"No problem, Rainbow Dash," Applejack replied, turning again to leave. As she stepped through the large barn door, she once again failed to acknowledge a certain mustard-colored filly spying on her and Rainbow Dash alike. Through a window on the side of the barn she peeped, seeing everything that had happened since Applejack's rearrival.

Rainbow Dash ended up dozing off for a couple more hours, this time a dreamless sleep. When she woke up she felt oddly painless and comfortable, a pleasant contrasting to before. And warm, too. A nice, pleasant warmth. A... "Oh no," she said, realizing she wet the bed again, and the warmth came from her slightly squishing diaper.
