Cory was hasilty trying to change out of his pee soaked pants. He got about halfway up with the new ones, that looked exactly the same as the other ones , when he notices that Ruby was standing there watching him. Cory's face turned bright red. He hurried up buckled his pants and grabbed the previously soiled undergrantments and pants and kicked them behind him..."Um Ruby.....wh-why did you follow me? " he asked her. Cory was more scared than he had ever been in his life for some reason.

Cory felt super belittled. " I um...I wa-wasn't doin nothing." he said and tryed to back up but ended up stumbling and falling on is butt."Oww..."He mummled Cory looked straight past her and twitled his fingers...Cory wanted to get up but her stern look and serious tone scared the crap out of him. He didn't know if he should run and run fast or sit there and have someone find out his secret. Cory tried to change the subject." Hey Ruby! Let's go get some lunch kay?" He said his voice that he tried to play off as calm was shaky and filled with fear...so much fear you could almost taste it. Cory's light blue and green eyes looked big and scared and his hair was still mussed up from when he fell in the river. Cory could feel the water still on his hair so he took his hand and shook it from side to side on his head giving his hair the normal shag look. Cory looked up at Ruby. Her posture told him that she was no one to mess with and he gave another weak smile.

Cory looked around. "umm...I dunno..."he said. Hde pondered for a second and then rembered something that he had heard." Hey! Do you like ramen! Cause I heard these guys talking about the best ramen they had ever had near the train station!" He said smiling...he knew he didn't have enough money to get anything but atleast he could drink some water while they were there since it was free.

Cory was shoved into the seat and his eyes widened from the amount of generousity that she was giving him. "Well um....I ....um....I...."He kept on stuttering out. He didn't know what to say because he didn't want to say that he was a run away from his parents because there was a chance that he would have to go back to the home that used to beat him and abise him.
