(Sorry it took so long. But here it is!)
‘Peace’ within the Hidden Leaf Village, seemed to have a double meaning to its denizens. For one, ‘Peace’ denoted tranquility; a period without war or conflict. The Hidden Leaf, as it was, had seen this aspect of peace. After the Fourth Great Shinobi War, all conflict had seemingly ceased to exist and/or arise. Due to this, the villagers of the Leaf were able to enjoy their days without worries or fears of invasions or attacks. Merchants were able to sell their wares abroad, without risk of theft or death. The age of Shinobi seemed to be at an end, as there were no quarrels to end or wars to fight in, rendering most Shinobis unable to see the glory of battle.
On the other hand, ‘Peace’, for those who lived in the Hidden Leaf, meant having to deal with the pranks and shenanigans of Boruto, son of Naruto. Currently, Boruto was dodging and weaving through carts and shops, carelessly trampling precious works of pottery and tumbling through stands of jewelry in the process. On his tail were several Jonin ranked shinobi. “Get back here, ya damn brat!” One Jonin shouted, running sideways across the perfectly symmetrical houses of the market square.
Boruto only snickered as he tauntingly whipped his head around “Nuh uh! You’re gonna have to catch me~!” Boruto jeered as he ran with reckless abandonment.
Now why was Boruto being chased? Well, maybe it had something to do with defacing a store with graffiti, perhaps it was lacing the food of a local dango restaurant with laxatives, or maybe it was stealing sweets again. Whichever the case may have been, Boruto deserved to be chased by these Jonin, who were probably sent by Naruto.
Speaking of, the eldest Uzumaki was within his office, accompanied by several of his shadow clones. Together, Naruto and his clones were gradually whittling their way through the mounds of paperwork sitting on the Hokage’s desk. Almost half of them were complaints of Boruto’s mischievous deeds from upset shopkeepers and citizens.
Now, Naruto could have done the right thing, which was to haul Boruto into his office and personally dish out a punishment that would have Boruto cleaning up his mess in no time. However, Naruto was what you would call a ‘soft’ parent. Rather than give Boruto any ramifications for his actions, Naruto would simply give his son a slap on the wrist. Or worse, pay off those affected by Boruto’s shameless actions.

Sarada sighed as she watched Boruto being chased. This was embarrassing for everyone. This was embarrassing for Boruto, since he really should be mature enough to not act like this. This was embarrassing for Naruto since he was the Hokage and he couldn't control his own son, and it was embarrassing for the three jonin chasing Boruto. Seriously, could they really not manage to catch him? She could only guess that they were going easy on Boruto since he was the Hokage's son.
She wished that she had a way to stop all of this. She honestly felt that Boruto was ab embarrassment to the Hidden Leaf. And so was Naruto when all said and done. What sort of Hokage couldn't catch his own son? She shook her head and wondered if both of them needed some sort of discipline. And maybe they did...
When Boruto passed her, she grabbed him by the back of his pants. "Hello Boruto," she said, looking amused as she pulled him in. "You had to know that you would be caught sooner or later," she said as she tossed him over her shoulder like he was a sack of potatoes. And she began to walk to Naruto's office.
When she arrived, she dropped Boruto on Naruto's desk. "Lord Hokage, I have returned," she said as she looked a bit nervous about what she was about to say. "I think that maybe Boruto needs a stronger hand. And maybe you could benefit too," she added.
"I propose that if I can catch you and Boruto, in one hour, I can guide you both as I wish," she said. She more or less intended to make them into toys. And with all the shadow clones Naruto used, he would probably be tired. Boruto was easy for her to catch.
