Out of Character: This is actually my first experience at role play, but I was interested and wanted to have a hand at it, so give me a bit of leeway. I thought it would be fun to make a teenage character who has a bit of a rebellious attitude, due to the anger and depression she has over her alcoholic parents, although she has a rebellious attitude, I'll definitely try to keep the amount of rebellion to a realistic and reasonable amount. I expect her to start off rebelling against the caregivers and their punishments, but then calm down after a while when she realizes her behavior won't be tolerated.
Picture:
Name: Sarah Wilderness
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Height: 4 ft 11 inches
Weight: 95 lbs
Hair color: Originally black to dark brown, dyed pink.
Eye color: Hazel
Race: Human
Birthday: September 29th
Appearance: The first thing people usually notices about Sarah, is that she likes to dye her hair unusual colors. She's the type of person who tends to "march to a beat of a different drummer" in terms of dress or style and often she likes to wear what she wants, regardless of how appropriate or socially conforming it is, therefore you may see her wearing ragged clothes with holes in them, long sleeves during the summer, or dressing in a way that some people may find "odd". She does like to mix up the way she dresses, and may wear a gothic lace dress one day, and the next day wear a short skirt with a pink T-shirt.
History: Sarah hasn't had an easy life, she grew up in a life of poverty and abuse. Her mother was a neglectful and emotionally unstable alcoholic, and her biological father left before she was old enough to remember him. Her mother rapidly went through boyfriends, who often stayed with them. Her mother blamed her, each time one of her boyfriends left and often showed it through physical and emotional abuse, eventually she was taken away by Family Services after she ran away and was found sleeping on a sidewalk.
Personality: Sarah has a lot of unresolved anger and depression over the abuse caused by her parents, and often tries to take it off by rebelling. She was always that kid who other's parents didn't want their children hanging around.
However in reality, Sarah is actually quite smart and empathetic, but doesn't view herself as having the potential that she has. Once she warms up to another, then Sarah's true personality comes through and she tends to be quite bubbly around that person.
School: 8th grade, Sarah was held back a year due to extended truancy. Her GPA is low, because she doesn't try in school because she doesn't think she could be successful. Surprisingly, when she is skipping class, you can usually find her hiding in a quiet place with her nose in a book.
Interests/Hobbies: Sarah doesn't usually show it, but she loves to read. She often emerged herself in a fantasy book to give her an escape from her reality.
Miscellaneous: Nothing so far, my character has plenty of flavor at the moment.
Relationships: N/A
