Toph the Kiyoshi Warrior (Avatar rp)

[Neran]

Toph sighed as she snuck back into her house without either of her parents realizing and dressed back into her regular clothes, as hard to move in as they were. Being secretly the most powerful Earth Bender in your village (And probably the world), was kind of fun.

When you were ACTUALLY being the strongest. But as it stood now she would spend most of her time at home, being the ‘delicate little flower’ her parents thought she was. As she sat down with her diaper cushioning her. Her parents had the divine wisdom of not potty training her given her blindness, thinking it would be too hard for her.

She then used her seismic sense to check her surroundings as she always did. “Hey, who’s there?” She asked as she didn’t even turn her head, her lack of sight making it a pointless action.

The vibrations that Toph sensed came from a young woman standing in the corner of the room. Though her appearance didn't mean much to Toph, she was by all means striking. Dressed in an armored, green kimono and metal headdress. On top of which her face is painted pure white with red eyebrows.

"Good afternoon, Miss Beifong," she says, giving a slight bow. "My name is Suki, leader of the Kyoshi warriors. I've been waiting for you as I was hoping we could talk. I have something of an...offer for you." Suki says calmly. She's reflexively on her guard. She and her Kyoshi sisters have been observing this girl for about a week now, and they were all well aware of how volatile she could be. In fact, all four of her sisters had expressed a great deal of skepticism about Suki's plan with her, especially when they found out about her other "condition", but she was still confident...or at least confident enough to try.

[Neran]

Toph rose her eyebrow as the woman spoke. Truthfully she didn’t really feel at all threatened as one could be when facing an inturdwr in her house. At any given moment she could send her flying thanks to her Earth bending skills.

But…

“Go on…” The name Kiyoshi was that of a brutal warrior Avatar who slayed her foes without mercy… so anyone named after her, Toph could get behind. Even though she didn’t turn to face her, she was still interested in what she had to say.

Worst case scenario she kicks her out and she ended up killing some time.

Besides, her diaper was dry so she wasn’t in any hurry to go find someone to change her.

"Well we've been watching you for about a week now," Suki says, stepping a little closer to Toph, making herself as non-threatening as possible, after all she wasn't here for a fight. "Including your secret forays into that underground earthbending tournament. Seems like a waste of your talent if I'm being honest," Suki shrugs as starts to pace past Toph. She'd learned enough about Toph from her observations that a few prods to her ego would get the girl to relax a bit. "However, it did bring me to the conclusion that you're bored being cooped up in this house and would appreciate a bit of...adventure," Suki says turning to face Toph.

Up this close, Suki is struck by just how obvious the bulge of Toph's diaper is, though it hadn't actually been that hard for her and her sisters to pick up on when they'd been watching her. She had to admit, she really admired how nonchalant Toph was about displaying her conditions. Though that wasn't to say she didn't think that she still had a lot to learn about some things.

Toph paused at that. This must have been the first time they ever got close enough when she wasn’t surrounded by people in the stadium. She would have noticed if anyone was spying on her in her own house. As she tried to repair her ego, Suki polished it by complimenting her, causing het to grin. “Yeah, that place is only fun because it gives me a chance to use my Earthbending all out. Some fun would be nice.”

As she noticed Suki stop, Toph groaned. Her regular clothes didn’t hide her diaper nearly as well as the clothes she wore to the underground fighting ring. Something about her Mom not wanting her to go too long without a change. Now that Suki noticed it, she would probably start treating her like a baby. (Here we go…) Toph thought as she braced for it.

Fortunately for Toph, Suki again already knew about her need for diapers and as such wasn't phased to see the one she was wearing stand out more. So she doesn't change her tone at all as she continues.

"You see, Miss Beifong," Suki says, sitting down cross-legged before Toph. "The reason my sisters and I were attending the tournament is that we have a...friend who's in need of an earthbending teacher and we assumed the best place to find one would be there," Suki is careful to be honest, but vague with her information. After all, she didn't see a need to mention that this "friend" was the Avatar himself. She didn't know this girl that well yet. In any case, her story was true. When they'd last seen Aang and his companions she and the Kyoshi had volunteered to find him someone to teach him earthbending and then rendezvous at Ba Sing Se. "So my offer is this," Suki says, standing up and approaching Toph again. "You agree to teach our friend, and we will escort you to meet him at Ba Sing Se in a little over two months. You will travel with us as an honorary member of our sisterhood, and who knows, we might even be able to teach you some of our own tricks. What do you say?"

Toph listened to the opportunity as she smiled at being praised. Her ego being stroked being a good way to get on her side. But teaching someone… would be an interesting job. She had never really needed to learn Earth bending in the first place. Not in the traditional sense. She just figured it out by being near Badger Moles. It wasn’t really something she could teach… well… not easily anyway.

But… traveling with a group of people to teach a mystery person earth bending… would certainly be fun. And even if she couldn’t teach the person, she’d at least be in for two months of fun.

But her parents… eh. She could just leave and come back, not like they would do anything to her that she couldn’t deal with herself. Besides, she was curious to find out about these tricks.

Though…

“If I travel with you guys I’d need someone to change my diapers.” She said bluntly. Though she didn’t feel embarrassed by needing them, her only issue was how people treated her when they found out. So far this woman hadn’t done anything coddly.

"Oh that?" Suki shrugs. "We're well aware of that and don't worry it won't be any trouble." It was true, she and her sisters, mostly her if Suki was being honest, helped care for children back on their home island of Kyoshi all the time. "Also don't worry about your parents or the rest of the house. Everything is taken care of." This part wasn't actually a lie, but a bit of a stretch. Technically Toph's parents hadn't disagreed about this arrangement because technically they didn't know about it yet as they were currently out in the town. As for the household staff, maids, etc, well....Suki's sisters were currently tying them all up and locking them in the manor's cellar. Not exactly the sort of tactics the famous Kyoshi warriors liked to employ but hey...this was all to prepare the Avatar to save the world so...acceptable overall right?

"All though there is one condition that I'd like to bring up," Suki clears her throat and stands up, starting to pace around Toph. "If you do accept this you'll be traveling with us as an honorary Kyoshi. A member of our sisterhood. Such a position, temporary or not, carries responsibilities, obligations, and rules of its own. If you want to come I need to know that you'll honor these things." Suki says crossing her arms, expecting Toph will be able to read the seriousness in her voice.

Toph raised her eyebrow at that before she raised her foot and stomped it down. Usually this wouldn’t mean anything for most people, both for her it allowed her seismic sense to give her a clearer reading of the whole house. She could ’see’ the staff being tied up, but since they weren’t being hurt and none of these warriors seemed to posses the capability to hurt her, she was fine. “As long as you know what you’re getting into.” She said with a smirk before she heard the next part.

“Hmph, basically don’t hurt anyone in the group, or betray you guys, got it.” She said as she figured that was what sister hood meant. “What obligations do you mean?” She asked as she was curious about that part, having been ‘obligated’ to perform as a weak helpless girl her whole life, she was wary of that part.

But considering how nonchalant the Kiyoshi warrior was being, even casually discussing her diapers, she was willing to here her out.
