Trials and Tricks. (private)

[Liten]

Trixie went with Twilight as the shower was turned on, stepping in after Twilight had gone in, feeling incredibly relaxed as she felt the warm water running down her back. It just felt so good. But then she blushed a bit at what Twilight asked, but she also said. "Yes." Trixie was fine with letting Twilight scrub her back, not having to clean herself up was sort of nice.

Twilight didn't have to be told twice, in fact the second she approved it she floated over a washcloth, lathered with soap. "You know if you want I can wash you fully." She offered up, half joking as the washcloth was placed on her back and started to slowly scrub along her spine, making sure it got in nice and deep beneath her fur. Although as she did she worked to tease a few spots, ones on her coat she knew were sensitive, but she wouldn't do anything more and it would just seem like accidents when she did.

[Liten]

Trixie blushed immediately at that. "No no, that's not needed." Trixie stammered as she stood there, enjoying the sensation of Twilight running the cloth along her back. Such a relaxing sensation. Trixie wasn't sure why, but such a tactile feeling along her back, it just felt so good she could hardly explain it. Though Trixie found herself tittering whenever Twilight got anywhere too sensitive.

Twilight pulled away a moment later, she wouldn't do anything Trixie was uncomfortable with; well not with something like that at least. The water rolled off her back as she streatched out a wing, starting to preen herself as she soaped up her stomach and body; tugging at each crooked or broken feather and tossing the ones she needed to discard into a trash-can inside the shower with a drain at the bottom.

Trixie went ahead and scrubbed herself a bit, seeing as Twilight was busying herself with grooming. It was odd, seeing Twilight with wings, it's honestly not something Trixie ever would have figured she'd see before. But Trixie dismissed that train of thought as she simply enjoyed the relaxing shower, the sound of the water pattering against the curtain and floor. It was so soothing to her.

Twilight continued to pull at each and every one of the errored feathers. Although at seeing Trixie watch she smiled a bit, but said nothing. Instead she went back to washing herself, letting the suds flow down the drain in a wirlpool of white. She had to admit it was nice just to relax for a change. "Hey Trixie would you like to learn how to groom wings?" She asked, she knew it wasn't the most ideal skill for a unicorn, but one never knew.

[Liten]

Trixie of course could understand what Twilight might be getting at by asking that. Trixie would only need a skill like that if she were to be grooming a pegasus. Or alicorn. Namely, Twilight. Would Twilight want her to do stuff like that? Either way Trixie wasn't sure how to reply at first, but she went ahead and said. "Sure."

Twilight smiled a bit and drew out her other wing, just to let her see it at first she wasn't going to force her to do it after all. "Well the first thing you would think to do would be using magic right?" She asked, looking at her seriously. "Don't pegasus magic is channeled through their wings, so if you use magic on them then it disrupts the flow within, like forcibly mending a unicorn with a broken horn. Instead use your teeth, look at the feathers, the straight lines ignore but the crooked ones need to be straightened." She stated, taking one in her teeth and pulling it into place. "Be careful with the damaged and snapped ones though, they hurt if done wrong." She stated, twisting one of the broken ones up and popping it out of the wing before spitting it out.

Trixie observed Twilight's wing. Taking note of what the mare was saying. Considering the relation between the two of them at this point, would this really be so out of place to know? Were they really a thing? Trixie thought more about this as she watched, accepting that she had been thrust into this relationship, thinking it had happened overnight when in reality it had been building for a while now.

Twilight knew what she was showing Trixie, spreading her wing out further and continuing her gentle work. They had started before but she'd messed it up, now though they could start anew. "Do you want to help? It makes them super fluffy afterwards." She said with a smile of delight, it was relaxing; if a bit painful when done wrong, to get her wings cared for. Plus if she was willing to help it was something that only those close to each other did for one another.
