Roxanne Stirling, Roxy to her friends, walked down the dark streets, coming home from her job. It was late at night and she had gotten off late from her job. It had been a poor day for the 22 year old college student. As she moved, she pulled her jacket against her small frame a bit more. It was a tad cold and she was a tad grumpy, herself grumbling about her night's problems and stupidities. She was a sales clerk and as such, she rarely left work without a grumble and a new story of some idiot that had passed through her line. Tonight was no different. "Stupid woman yelling at me in front of my stupid boss with his stupid face." she growled, wandering on as she was about 5 blocks away from home. She brushed her natural red hair from her face and continued down the street in her grumbling state, unaware of the figure watching her from a distance.

The distant figure, with her black flowing hair and red eyes, was a woman named Tamara. Tamara looked like she was 35 years old, but that was just a facade; she was actually an immortal vampire. The woman lived a surprisingly peaceful existence for a bloodsucker, but immortality is boring if one has no one to spend it with. Seeing the cute, red haired girl walking down the street, Tamara smiled, slightly reveling her fangs. 'This one looks perfect,' thought the vampire, sneaking up behind Roxy with superhuman speed and biting her neck. Tamara didn't want to take too much blood, just enough to leave Roxy unconscious.

The girl didn't know what hit her. One second she felt fine and the next, a prick in her neck and her knees got a little weak. Her vision grew blurry and her breath grew a bit quick. She wasn't quite sure what was happening but her mind tried to draw some conclusion before it could, she felt a hand on her back and that was the last thing she could think about before everything went dark. Herself fading out of reality as she tried to stay awake. It was just so hard. She was just so tired. Her eyes were just so heavy and the ground seemed a perfect place to nap apparently as her legs fell out and she fell unconscious.

"Aww, you look so cute when you're sleeping," Tamara said with a giggle, picking up the now-unconscious Roxy's body with strength and care. The vampire then retreated into the alleys, not wanting anyone to see her as she transported the young woman to her house. When they arrived, Tamara took Roxy to her guest room and put her into a bed. She then sat down next to Roxy, waiting for the newly-turned vampire to wake up.

Roxy eyes slowly danced open, the tired girl confused and weak with a horrid crick in her neck. "What did I do?" she mumbled, rubbing at her neck and finding a little indent. She thought nothing of it, sure it was just some bug bite or something. She'd check on it later. For now, she sat up in bed and opened rubbed at her blurry eyes. She needed her glasses to see except when she looked around most everything looked okay. Granted not the brightest vision but she didn't have a problem. Had she slept in her glasses? She looked around nervously, finding the bed sheets and in confusion rubbing them a bit. "These aren't mine." she muttered quietly. "A...and this isn't my room. W..where am I?"

Tamara was just about to nod off herself when she saw that Roxy had finally woken up. Moving from her position and going in front of Roxy, Tamara greeted her. "Hello there cutie, how are you feeling?" the vampire said with a smile, revealing her enlarged canines to the girl. Tamara knew Roxy was a smart girl that was quick to the uptake, so she wanted to show the girl she was a vampire instead of going the boring way and just telling her.

"I um... I think I'm okay.." she mumbled, looking up towards the girl. "My head hurts Mistress." she said, rubbing at her head, the girl not even noticing what she had called Tamara. "And my neck is kinda stiff too." She saw the girl flash her smile and could barely think as he groggy state spotted something sharp and unhappy looking back at her. "F..fangs." she mumbled quietly. Her hand drifted over towards her neck again. She was an avid reader of vampire novels and romance books but never in her life did she think they would turn out to be actual creatures of the night. She felt around the little indent she had felt earlier, tracing up and down only to find one more above it. "V..v...v...v..vampire?" she mumbled quietly

Tamara was glad to see that the girl was okay. "Mistress, huh?" Tamara asked with a smirk. "That's a new one, but I can't say I hate it. " Tamara's smirk widened at Roxy's growing terror; this one was a keeper. Plus, she was just as smart as she appeared, correctly identifying Tamara just from her fangs. "That's right sweetie, but I'm not the only one in this room, " Tamara said, indirectly suggesting that she had turned Roxy into a vampire as well.

Roxy looked around fearfully, watching the room in utter terror as though there were some other entity lurking in the shadows. "I...I... don't see any other." her voice got quiet as her hands went back to touch at her neck again. "Did you.... am I?" she looked horrified as she scratched at her neck, almost trying to rub the bite off. "You didn't seriously like... on my neck and now I'm a...." she whimpered a bit in fear and horror, looking almost scared of her own self as she sat up a bit in bed. "You're kidding me right? There is a camera?"

Tamara couldn't help but giggle at the girl's anxiety; it was all so cute! "Nope! This isn't a prank. You're a bona-fide bloodsucker kiddo," Tamara said, wrapping an arm around Roxy's shoulder. As cute as the girl was, Tamara knew that she must be experiencing an overload of confusing emotions, and wanted to be there to help her through it.
