Under Sister's Care (Private)

Nova grumbled and sit there quietly for a moment."There's nothing to figure out. I slacked off before, I'll do better next time."She stood up."I think I'm gonna go to bed early. I'm tired."

“Just know, you’re grounded until we get things figured out with your school. If you need help with your homework I’m happy to do it or get you the help you need but I’m not going to let you keep slipping farther down.” She said firmly before she hugged her again “if you want to go to sleep you can, do you need me to come tuck you in?” She asked curiously knowing Nora was used to that by now.

"Yeah, okay, Sis."Nova said hugging her sister."...Yes, please. Can you tuck me in...?"It was a bit embarrassing to ask something like that but she really wanted comfort right now. She slowly made her way to her bedroom and changed in a baggy t-shirt before laying in bed.

She helped the girl into her bed gently pulling the covers over her little sister “how does that feel? Too tight? Too loose?” She asked curiously.

"It's fine, Sis. It's comfy."She got comfortable and curled up under the blanket, slowly closing her eyes before falling asleep.

She left to go back and clean the kitchen up a little bit before going to sleep her self, knowing she would need all the energy she could manage for her sisters first grounding on a Saturday. “This should be interesting.” She thought outloud.

Nova slept for a few hours before a bad dream caused her to toss and turn in her sleep."...Mommy...Daddy..."She whimpered and hugged her pillow. Soon her eyes opened and she let out a soft sob. She sat there for a few moments then got out of bed. She NEEDED her sister."E-Eliza...?"She hiccuped and sniffled as she opened her sister's door. She walked in the room, her diaper soaked and her face was red and puffy.

“Nova?” Came the older girls voice, not from her bed, instead from the chair she’d set up in the corner. Being unable to sleep the girl decided to go read for a little bit “come here sweetie, what’s wrong?” She asked curiously

Nova tried to hold in her tears but they just kept coming. As soom as Elizabeth asked what was wrong, she burst into tears, running over to her sister and hugged her tightly. She buried her face into her sister's shoulder and sobbed."I want mommy and daddy...!"

Elizabeth sighed when she heard that “I know honey, I know.” She whispered as she cuddled the girl close wanting to help her feel safe “it’s okay, sissy’s here for you. Everything is okay.” She said as she held her close.
