(I know I pitched a whole lot of ideas for how we might make Wish better as a concept, from Amaya being a twist villain alongside Magnifico to Asha turning out to be the twist villain herself. Currently, there are two changes which most appeal to me:

1. Star being able to transform into a human male, eventually becoming Asha's love interest.

2. Asha actually being Magnifico and Amaya's daughter. There would be greater stakes if one of her own parents is in danger of being compromised.

The first one is the more important of the two, though if you're unsure about implementing the second one, I understand)

(We were certainly planning to implement the first. But I suppose what all this will especially change is sort of having Magnifico be able to build defenses against the corruption of his instincts and the excesses that come from being unbound; again, very much a metaphor for Michael Eisner and what he did in the latter half of his tenure as Disney's CEO, without guardrails to keep him in place; that alternate history timeline project of mine has such a figure step in as the "new Frank Wells" to protect Eisner from himself)
