"Please don't let it happen again tonight..........please, please, please!" Michiko clutched her pillow as she lay in bed, waiting to drift off to sleep, dreading the morning to come. Shifting to get comfortable, she couldn't help to notice the sound of crinkling, nor the feeling of the extra padding between her legs, biting her lip in embarrassment, knowing that lurking beneath her pajama shorts were those hated and childish Pull-ups training pants she was now forced to wear at night. She prayed with all her heart that she would wake up dry for a change, taking the precautions of not drinking anything before going to bed, using the bathroom three times in the last hour to make sure she got all her pee out, and chanting over and over in her head 'I'm a big girl, I'm a big girl', before sleep finally overtook her.

Michiko Channing was a Japanese American high school girl who was born on an American military base in Yokosuka, Japan. Her mother, Taeko, was a native of the Nippon islands that made up Japan, her father was an American Naval officer who met her mother while he was stationed overseas. They moved to America when Michiko was 10, when her Dad was transferred to a new command and had now settled into a new life in a small coastal city, just south of San Diego. Michiko was a student at the prestigious Everett Academy private high school, who had just started her senior year and was looking forward to life after graduation. Michiko was a well liked girl, and fairly normal for her age, she had typical interests, typical friends, and was smart, but was bad at studying, and had a habit of snacking when she didn't want to do something.

The trouble for her arose three weeks ago, when she woke up one morning to her sheets and pajamas soaked with urine, Michiko had never been a bed wetter in her entire life and was appalled at what she had done, initially trying to hide it from her parents by washing the evidence before anyone noticed. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident and she was finally caught by her mother, who took her to the doctor out of concern. Despite numerous tests, nothing could be found that was causing it, the doctor citing the probability to an underdeveloped bladder for her age and that she should grow out of it, and to use protection in the meantime. Protection for Michiko, unfortunately meant a plastic mattress cover on her bed and Pull-ups under her pajamas every night. It was humiliating to say the least, but luckily the only ones who knew about it were her parents and younger brother, Taro whom everyone called "Terry" for short.

As the sun began to rise and a new day started, a piercing scream shattered the early morning quiet.

"GAWD DAMMIT!.........I DID IT AGAIN, IS THIS EVER GOING TO END?" Michiko yelled at discovering her training pants were once again soaked. Frustrated, she threw her sheets to the floor, climbing out of bed and stomping her way down the hall to the bathroom to dispose of her soiled undergarments and clean herself up. Just as she had taken off her Pull-up and was wiping herself with some damp toilet paper, when her brother inadvertently walked in on her.

*yawn* "ooops.......sorry sis" Taro said, catching his sister in a compromising position, and a little embarrassed himself.

Michiko turned bright pink, as she turned around to see Taro enter the bathroom, while she was naked from the waist down and her butt was on full display. She quickly tried to cover herself "Damn it Taro! haven't you ever heard of knocking!" she yelled indignantly.

"Stop starring and GET OUT!..................I know it's the fifth time!" Michiko yelled, throwing a hand towel at her brother, which he quickly dodged.

Once Michiko pulled herself together, she put on the fresh pair of panties she had brought with her, which were a welcome relief to her Pull-ups, at least panties made her feel more normal, she felt so childish every time she slipped a pair of training pants up her narrow hips, displeased at the view that greeted her in the mirror as she saw herself. Michiko wasn't very developed by any means, she was short, with a narrow body and small chest, barely filling out a B-cup, she had always hoped she would grow into a beautiful body like the girls she saw in magazines, tall and curvy, with long luxurious hair and big boobs, the kind of girls that caught everyone's attention when they walked down the street, that's what Michiko wanted to be. Starring at herself wearing a pair of training pants like a little kid was about as far from that dream as possible, and what's worse, they had pictures of princesses on them! but at the moment, the sight of her regular cotton panties was the greatest thing in the world.

*sigh* "I hate my life" she lamented, thinking how she was probably the only girl in her school who still wet the bed. Michiko cleaned herself up and put on her school uniform, before heading down stairs to breakfast, which her mother had just finished preparing.

"Morning Mi-chan" her mother said cheerfully, as she entered the kitchen, Mi-chan being a pet name she had called since she was a child.

"Morning Mom" Michiko said, taking a seat at the table next to her brother.

Goodmorning sweetie how was your morning her mother said with a warm smile. Mu Hilo peed the bed again taro said telling his mother. Again? Are you ok sweetie her mother said being consoling to her

"Don't call me that!.............and I didn't wet my bed, I had my pants on, it was just another accident" Michiko said indignantly.

Taeko knew her daughter was self-conscious about her bed wetting, so she tried not to draw too much attention to it, but still showed her maternal concern. She brought Michiko a bowl of Miso soup and some fried eggs and bacon, setting them down in front of her, moving some stray hair back behind her ear and picking off a piece of lint from her daughter's blazer.

"Thanks for the food" Michiko said, making a traditional prayer clap, before starting her meal.

Putting her hand on her shoulder, her mother leaned down and whispered in her ear, "It's fine Mi-chan, you'll grow out of it"

It didn't help any that she used her childhood nickname. Grow out of it? when was that going to happen, she had heard that bed wetting could last for years, how could she go to college if she was wearing Pull-ups every night in her dorm room, she'd be teased mercilessly, and what if she had a roommate? The thought of such things made her heart sink, but doubled her resolve. She had to beat this, no matter what.

Michiko grumbled, knowing her brother was just showing concern for her, but it still bruised her pride. She finished her breakfast quickly and headed for the door.

"Gotta go, see ya later, Mom" she yelled, grabbing her school bag and shoes, as ran out the door.
