The Witch's Daughter (Private for AB Avery)

It was a typical day at a certain Witch's Academy. The powerful Witch Avery was busy in her chambers preparing between classes when a young Angel entered in her room unannounced. The Angel's name was Sylvia and she had been friends with Avery for a while now. She had confided in the Woman her doubt of the church's teachings and whether she really was comfortable with some of Heaven's rulings as far as Witches were concerned. The two had formed a rather tight bond and Sylvia's own beliefs and values of right and wrong had grown to become her own. Though in this moment she seemed very upset as she turned from a dove in the window to the adorable blue haired and eyed girl in white that now stood before Avery. "M..miss Avery.. " She began, practically sobbing. "I'm in trouble.. I've been judged on our friendship.. for.. associating with a heretic.. their words not mine.." She stated, to clarify. "And for no longer being fit for my title or duties.. I'm being punished.. and cast out. " She began as she slumped over in the nearest chair, unable to quell her tears.

Avery looked at the girl smiling for a moment as she recognized the dove, but then as soon as she turned back she frowned "Oh! Sylvia that's horrible." She wrapped her arms around the girl in a hug and kissed her "There there, it's alright." She patted the girls back "Now we can be free in our friendship and beliefs right? Who cares about that snooze fest in heaven if I can't have my fun up there?" She smiled gently and stroked Sylvia's back. "But I suppose I have to ask... What exactly does being cast out mean for an Angel? I doubt heaven would actually kill you, that'd be hypocritical. Though of course that would line up with many of the churches teachings..."

Sylvia took great comfort in the hut and the back pat she received from her friend. She took a breath and dried her eyes a little. "Yes.. well there's something really important about that I wanted to tell you.." She paused in thought for a moment. "No they aren't killing me.. goodness no , but for two thousand years of service I have to become human and live as a mortal among them.. adding to the humanity that I've seemingly grown so attached to. Though in order to do this I have to be reborn..Though they did give me a parting gift in this.. , but I fear it's too much to ask of you.." She stated holding back, but knowing Avery would want her to share everything with her. "I don't have much time.. but I've been given the chance to choose my mother.." She trailed off looking at the floor. "I'm sorry It's too much to ask.. "

Avery slowly nodded, listening to the girls explanation. She then teared up a bit "Really? Of all the people in this world, you'd want me to be your mommy? A heretic that would brand you from the second you were born as belonging to those down below. Because if you are fine with all of that and are absolutely sure... I accept. Even though you are technically older than me, I've aged a bit more than you and kinda think of you as a daughter" she added smiling "But, even though you don't have much time, I want you to make sure you're absolutely certain you want to spend 18 years in a life that's just one dangerous freakshow to the next." She did look dead serious about it. "While I'm certain I can protect you, that might not make the healthiest childhood."

Sylvia looked up in surprise at Avery's answer. "Really.. it's not too much.. you'd carry me to term, give birth to me, and raise me.. you're too kind.." She muttered as she nodded. "I have to decide tonight.. or I end up going to a random woman.. but yes I am absolutely certain that I want to be your daughter..if you'll have me mother." She stated with a bright smile. "I care not of the branding or heritage. It matters not. All that matters is that I would get to be with you for it all.. I've never been a human I'm rather excited to experience what all it entails.. but wouldn't I be a witch too..?" She asked as she wasn't quite as scared as she was when she entered the room. "I'm sure you will be able to.. but I also get to keep my memories.. though I'll be very fragile for a while at first.."

"Well you can start with Mommy instead of Mother." Avery chuckled "Now I just want you to know that you can't really expect a father growing up. Witches can't really stay around men for much longer than a few nights or our magic just kinda starts turning them female on it's own. The only exception to that is wizards of equal or greater power, but we tend to avoid each other most of the time. And yes I suppose you would" Avery smiled "Obviously I teach a lot of girls about their powers, but I never imagined that you'd be one of them. Especially in circumstances like this. But that's interesting you'll be able to keep your memories. But yes, absolutely I accept. Now give your mommy another hug" she cooed holding her arms open

"That's alright.. mommy.. I never had parents either way.." Sylvia explained as she hugged back leaning her head on Avery's shoulder. "Though you will have to get pregnant some how in order to bring me back into the world.." She stated with a blush as they wouldn't have much more time together until she was born. "It's going to be a while before I'll get to hug you like this again mommy.." She stated, really liking how it felt to call her friend that. "I'll be looking forward to learning from you.. it will be nice to have some power still.." She admitted as she nuzzled into Avery, wondering how much longer she had. Though her body did begin to glow, it seemed once they'd both accepted, the process would begin. she teared up a little more, not wanting to stop existing just yet.

Avery smiled sadly seeing the girl glow and kissed her once more "Goodbye my sweet. Mama will do her best to get pregnant as soon as possible. I love you, my little angel." She whispered in the girls ear seconds before Sylvia disappeared. She sat down with tears in her eyes and cried for a bit, but she knew it wouldn't be long before she would be able to hold Sylvia in her arms once more. She set off to find a partner.

Sylvia was crying too at this point as she hugged her future mother for all her dissipating form was worth. "I'll see you soon.. mommy.." She stated right before she faded completely. The question now was where was she going to acquire a partner from, and what sort of man was she going to involve in such an important step of her life. Perhaps the local restaurants or bars might hold the key.

To tell the truth, Avery didn't really care what man it was. Avery was bi with a heavy preference for women, only having been actually attracted to one or 2 men ever. But that's not what this was about. Instead it was about bringing her new daughter back into this world as soon as possible. She dropped into the bar and smirked at a lonely little man, about the same age as her and she sat next to him, then started chatting the man up.
