X-Men: Holiday Jubilation (Private)

[Diaper Beast]

The sounds caused all the adults in the house... well, except for Hank of course... if his status even could make him considered an adult, quickly made their way to the guest room where Jubilee and Shogo were staying. Though Grandma McCoy made it there first... looking rather shocked and surprised at seeing more people in the house than when she went to bed for her short nap a little while ago.

She quickly checked on the crib and the still sleeping baby and then made her way to Jubilee's side. Where before Jubilee could even react she was sitting down on the bed and hugging her and rubbing her back. "Oh sweet child... It's okay. Nana McCoy is here for you." She held Jubilee close and tried to comfort her. A soft lullaby starting to be sung to her in an attempt to calm her down from her scare.

Seeing that Grandma McCoy seemingly had everything under control both Edna and Norton snuck back out of the room. Likely going into Hank's room to check on him since he wasn't putting up a fuss and being stubborn when he was asleep. Edna considered Jubilee's magic items before leaving the room though.

Jubilee was shaking that is for sure and when that similar scent enveloped her the similar one to someone she used to run with during when she still had trouble with her vampirette side and was learning to get over the instinctive need to kill, the bloodlust aswell as what the Vampires call 'blood rage' allowed her to calm down enough to start crying and babbling much like a young child would. She even was careful to gently squeeze this for now titled' Nana McCoy ' Though this could mean the elderly woman sees her as younger then she is now as not only is she padded and in footed sleeper she is crying and not making sense in her upset state.


Edna had picked it up in terms of the pacifier both not wanting her quest to get that stuck in the girls mouth by the oldest in the house without knowing its magical and because Jubilee had offered to let the McCoys use it for Hank aswell as other items of this time. Besides it'll be nice when Hank is getting all fussy to have a way to keep from getting that much backtalk and what would will be in a cute lisp manner. She did have to take note though Hank seemed to have only be in the throws of sleep not waking up but showing worry for the Jubilee if the fact the slowly lessening sounds of Jubillee and seemingly less uptight in sleep Hank being in near sync is anything to go by

It seems that Nana McCoy had her own supply of comforting aids as she slipped her hand into her pocket and produced a pacifier and slipped it into Jubilee's mouth to hopefully calm her down. Still continuing to hug and rock her while singing softly. "Shhh... Shhh... Shhh. Nana McCoy is here little one. You'll wake the other babies." Suggesting she did see Hank as a baby, much to his constant frustration.

She finally took time to check Jubilee over and smiled at her outfit. Then went ahead and unsnapped the inseam in order to check Jubilee's obvious padding. "I should nap more often it seems. When I do I'm blessed with more cute babies." She checked her diaper lovingly like you would a baby... still trying to comfort her. "It's okay sweetie... you just had a nightmare. You're safe now little one."

Meanwhile Hank was fast asleep... as he'd finished the whole bottle which was a bit of a surprise. The empty bottle laying nearby in his makeshift crib and the big blue Beast's right thumb in his mouth and being sucked. He was fussing a bit from all the crying coming from Jubilee's room... making his own frustrated noises in his sleep and kicking his powerful legs a bit. If he wasn't sleeping from the bottle he likely would be in there seeing to Jubilee himself. As that was his usual nature.

Of course, soon enough Jubilee calmed down enough while sucking on the slipped in her mouth pacifier , not just a carryover from the X-baby stuff but her fledgling status and the fact she knows how it helps Calm Shogo down to suckle on such things still she laughed abit at the Remark for now who she knows Nana McCoy as it reminds her of that alternate earth Storm thats stuck here humor. Which said Storm counterpart being a Countess to a Dracula and this woman took a shine to her much like this Earth Storm has which made her sorta gain odd status in the Vampire Community as she is viewed as for a lack of a better term duel princess status as both are still Queens of a sort .

'' No Nana it was a bad Memory, don't wanna talk bout it ''Jubilee said not say Ms or the like as she doesn't have the woman's name, neither had she make a fuss on the diaper check despite her diaper being sorta wet it can wait for a while as its just barely damp. Well, it can wait if the woman is the type who lets diapers get abit further along in terms of wetness. After all some grandmothers still hold to the way to handle diapers when money wasn't as easy to come by that is if the child doesn't get rashes easy


Edna with some trouble managed to slip Hanks clawed thumb from her boys mouth and replace it with a pacifier and started to rub Hanks belly at the same time checking Hanks diaper

Grandma McCoy smiled warmly once Jubilee calmed down... happy to still hold her and comfort her though. She was delighted to see that Jubilee was damp but decided that her diapers could wait a while since they weren't in serious need of a change. She re-snapped her sleepers and cuddled Jubilee into her lap. "It's okay sweetie... you don't need to talk about anything you don't want to."

She offered a loving peck on the forehead to Jubilee and cooed to her. "You're such a sweet little one. I wish Little Henry was a happy baby just like you." She laughed merrily and tickled Jubilee's sides. "So who are you sweetie? And who's the little one in Baby Henry's crib? He looks like a real cutie too." She tickles Jubilee's sides again and hugged her warmly already plotting cute outfits for this Baby Girl.

Beast fussed even more as his thumb was removed... though the fussing stopped when the pacifier was slipped into his mouth... sucking on it as he was compelled to do. Hank squirming a bit happily and spreading his prehensile toes to the tummy rubs. "Mommy." He muttered around the pacifier softly and was so much more babyish when asleep. And he was indeed wet again thanks to the bottle.

Henry is naughty Nana'' Jubilee couldn't help it this behavior towards her is a weakness of hers and Hank is a jerk at times even doing stupid things from being blinded by other goals or too logical minded '' He even tried to get me to remove his di-di when Nana was taking a nappy'' Jubilee is letting the lisp be and the using some baby talk as for at this point in having Shogo saying things like di-di and other rather infantile words is second nature and come to mind first rather then the proper words. Add to that all the X-babying she has gone through over the years left some residual aspects be more easy to say or day then mature words and things.

Regardless she is being partially honest but she is playing that up for she wants to get Hank back still for ditching her

Jubilee had to question because she had assumed the woman would be atleast aware of her name and face '' names Jubilation Lee, my buddy in the crib is Shogo'' Given how she was told this woman is she assumed Grandma McCoy wouldn't believe she adopted Shogo . Not that she has told the other adults in the household that Shogo is her adopted son still she blinked now seeing the color outside its getting somewhat dark meaning her eyes are going more vampire like with the slits inner eye of a predator look which Shogo oddly seems to prefer over her human looking eye form

Grandma McCoy smiles warmly at Jubilee's babyish manner of speech. She cooed just a little bit to her and tickled her tummy lovingly. "Oh yes little one, that boy is a handful. No surprise as boys are always a handful. He's always acted like he was so mature... but Nanny knows better. She's seen him on TV running around in training pants. He just needs to accept he's not ready for the potty yet." She offered to Jubilee and cuddled her even more warmly. "Isn't that right sweetie?"

"Jubilation Lee. Such a pretty name for such a pretty girl." Sadie cooed again to Jubilee and patted her seat. "We absolutely need to find you a pretty Christmas dress for the holidays. After all it's a magical time of the year." She nose-nuzzled Jubilee softly and was already liking her quite a bit. She didn't seem to put up a fit about everything like Henry did... a rather big plus in her book. "Would you like that sweetie? A nice Christmas dress to show off what a pretty girl you are?"

Now this made Jubilee shake her head '' Nu-uh girls are just as bad '' Jubilees mind wondered slightly to both the varies Villainesses she has faced and those that are time and dimension displaced. Still, Jubilee was surprised Grandma McCoy doesn't recognize her as not only has she been on the Tv enough as a member of the X-men, Had been a actor for a bit , but also was big news for awhile on tv for months on end when she was framed for some big important people. Maybe the woman just didn't like knowing about young Heros and Heroines? Aswell as not liking bad news about youths? Whatever it is she doesn't mind it too much she'd hate having to try glossing over that one advent

''Please call me Jubilee'' Jubilee requested hoping the old woman atleast has no problem with it '' Almost onlt time Jubilation is used when I'm bad or suspect '' Jubilee explained as even when her parents was alive that was how they used her full name most of the time

''I don't want to be a bother'' Jubilee said moving around in a way a person would when nervous about being a bother or getting in the way'' Besides I got one but you likely will disapprove Nana because it makes light of my'' Jubillee removed the pacifier and shown her fangs aswell as tongue to get the message across she is a bloodsucker as she felt it'd get the message across

Of course, Jubilee didn't stand out as much on the team appearance wise like some of the others did. She wasn't covered with fur or turned into metal. Plus it was clear she had some strange obsession with her Grandson who she thought was a big baby rather than an adult. She did seem to really show a fondness for Jubilee though, cuddling her and even bouncing her in a bit in her lap. "Well you're not just as bad."

"Jubilee. That's a rather adorable name. So festive. Just like your addition to our Christmas celebration." Grandma McCoy offered and then scoffed at Jubilee's concern. "You're not a bother dear. In fact it's nice to not have a crinkly cutie fussing over the attention." She leaned in and kissed Jubilee on the forehead and then raised a brow, much like Henry does, when Jubilee showed off the fangs.

"Well I'm not one to judge sweetheart. But it's late and you're the only little one still awake. Why don't you try to get back to sleep and we'll have a great big farm breakfast in the morning?" Nana McCoy rubs Jubilee's back and re-offers her the pacifier and cuddled her close lovingly. "I'll stay here in case you wake up upset again." And she would keep that promise if Jubilee did go back to sleep.

Jubilee was by now practically puddy in Grandma McCoy's loving care, the closest to this she can recall was when she was with her Aunt had no clue about for the longest time, despite this, she couldn't help pout at the fact her name was referenced like that. Its the same with her mutant powers referenced like that as so many like referencing them in such a manner.

Jubilee despite this gave a look as if Grandma McCow was an idiot to suggest she a Vampirette sleep at night'' I think you missed what these fangs mean Nana '' Jubilee sighed as she felt her throat go dry having to practically outright admit it '' I'm sure you had at least read Bram Stokers Dracula or seen such bloodsucker movies of some kind. So sleeping at night isn't something I do'' Jubilee figures that should get the message across without saying directly she is one as it should be fairly obvious given she referenced both a well-known book and the most common phrase for Vampires out there
