Let us spin another yarn of the old days. The medieval times were certainly not easy times for people; hard work, devastating plagues, and deadly wild encounters. For many, making a living was hard, but some were able to find joy in it.

Our tale begins with two traveling salespeople, offering bizarre and mystic trinkets and items from all around the world to people in towns both small and large. Though selling these items might not be easy, it's still a living, albeit a difficult and rather humorous one.

"Ugh, that was a long day," A young man named Orion said as he stepped into a small room reserved for the pair of salespeople at the local inn, "We hardly sold anything! You would think that people would want mysterious trinkets from lands afar!"

"They'd rather sell us their mysterious trinkets from lands a-here, apparently," Sarah replied with a sigh. "I got a couple things that might sell well, but I'm barely breaking even keeping our inventory stocked. Tell me, what should I charge for these?" She asked, showing him a box of twenty some odd silver necklaces with cherubs hanging on the end of the thin chain. "Call them, what? One of a kind youth amulets from a far off land? The person who sold them to me said they were enchanted with youth and beauty, so that's not entirely a lie. Charge, what, fifty shequels a piece and hoc them to older women?"

Orion turned and looked at the amulets. "Hmmm... people do love these mystical figures," He said, running his fingers over one of the cherubs, "I think fifty shekels should do just fine; make a good profit for some cheap flashy jewelry." He sighed as he took the hood of his robe off; his mid-length straight black hair was a bit matted from being stuck under his hood all day, and his blue-green eyes reflected his tiredness and frustration.

Sarah shrugged. "I dunno, they're not too bad. They're kind of... well, yeah, they're flashy and probably coated in less silver than you could mint a coin with, but I like the cast." Shrugging, she held one up. "Maybe I should change the sales approach, though. Call them a set of necklaces that were made by some of the lands best silversmiths. Really up play the quality and talk about the beauty enchantment. Convince them that they were made as a set... but if you pay a little extra I'd be willing to part with just one. I dunno, we'll see what works." Shrugging, she pulled it over her head to rest on the material of her black cotton dress. "I dunno, what do you think? Look like it could be worn by a woman with class?"

Orion looked Sarah over as she slipped the necklace on. "Ehhh, I could see somebody in a higher class buying these up," He said, "The older folks and the higher class seem to love stuff like this, and the fact that it's gilded with silver makes it nice and flashy too. I suppose, if you really wanted to sell them off quickly, you could pair them with some of the dresses you sew; I'm sure they'd look better as a pair."

"The silver would go nice with some blacks or whites," Sarah agreed, shrugging but deciding to leave it on. If they really were enchanted to enhance beauty (which she doubted) she could use it, if not no harm done. "Do did you oick up anything good? Something we could actually make a profit with instead of cheap tonic oils and cheaper jewelry?"

Orion grumbled as he grabbed his bag. He was never really good at finding the right things to sell to people; he always went for weaponry, armor, or anything combat-related. "I've got a buckler; looks like it's gilded as well, so it could fetch a few shekels from a town guard... A few knives, some ingots... oh, and I did find a few dresses," He lifted 2 dresses from his bag; one was snow white and flowed smoothly like silk, while the other one was ebony black, cut short and very flashy. "They looked unique, and they were rather cheap, so I figured we could turn a profit with them."

Sarah took the dresses, looking them up and down. "Material's fake," she declared on the white one, but the black one seemed good enough. "We can peddle the white one to saps who won't know the difference, this black one needs some hem work but should catch a pretty price once that's done." Folding them up, she set them on the table. "I've been looking for ways we could save money while traveling," she said, changing the subject. "Do you think we could get rid of some weight? Our cargo we keep, but if we can save space any other way without getting rid of vital supplies, it could save us a lot."

"Yeah, that sounds good to me," Orion said, looking the ingots over. They were of crude iron, but he knew his way around a forge; he could make some basic weaponry that would be suitable for any guardsman out of it. At the same time though, he could just sell the materials to a more experienced blacksmith for an easier profit. "What do you suggest we get rid of?"

"Well... Some of my dress making supplies. More specifically, if I got rid of my mannequins we would drop about sixty pounds each. Problem is, I wouldn't have anything to model on... which is why I'm running this past you," she asked. "I don't suppose you'd mind modeling my dresses for me? I'd just need you to try a couple on every once in a while for the larger sizes, the smaller ones I can try on myself."
