Mika stared at the transmutation array in front of her, it took her and Fullmetal almost two years to perfect. She really shouldnt be attempting this by herself but he was away on assignment and she wanted surprise him and Al when they got back. Everything seemed perfect, the array was done, and all the materials that should be needed "Well here goes nothing..."

The array lit up as Mika activated it, everything seemed to be going well as Mika watched from the edge of the circle. Then something happened, the reaction started to break down it was becomming unstable and alarms started to go off. Mika tried to cancel the transmutation but it was fueling it self and it started to rebound. Mika held out her arm to brace for the rebound and she was finally hit. Her automail held for a moment before being overwhelemed and it shattered knocked her back into the wall and she passes out as the reaction finally releases all the energy in a small explosion damaging the lab and trapping the unconsious Mika inside.

Pandora was like normal for afew days now been in a hospital room waiting for a patient to wake up namely a fellow state alchemist name of the person being Mika sense shes been passed out ever sense being found and put in the hospital . Reason she's been there 1 she knows she has no one family wise to care for her 2 she worry's and feels sorry about this person for what she read in Mika's file Pandora was given to her 3 its a order to keep Mika from over exerting herself being Mika's partner for now. ''I hope she takes it well''Pandora thought as she keeps a eye on Mika for any signs of her waking up

Mika finally shifted a bit as she regained some consciousness but was apparently a sleep like state. She started whimpering lightly and mumbling in her sleep "....ed..i'm sorry. so sorry ed. sorry sorry...."

After about five minutes of the whimpering and mumbling, Mika finally started to wake up. Her first instinct was to try and push herself up into a sitting position, but she immediately knew something was wrong, she couldn't feel any of her automail...that was never good. Her eyes bolted open as she tried to sit up and started having a small panic attack, not realizing where she was or exactly what had happened.

Pandora was relieved when Mika started to come to in a sleep like state as she listened to what Mika was saying in said state as it might give clues of why she was such foolish on doing a transmutation of that caliber without other alchemists but even then it would still be quite foolish as Pandora was also waiting with baited breath for the moment Mika wakes up. At the moment Mika started breathing uneasy Pandora went to Mika's side''Please calm down your safe and you might aggravate your injury's and in case you haven't figured out your in a hospital''Pandora stated a a comforting tone trying to lessen the tension and trying to get Mika calm down some more if she did at all with her first remark added as a after thought'' if the dual smell of sanitary products wasn't a dead giveaway. Then again most labs has that scent but stronger ''Pandora said in a joking manner.

Just then a nurse that was just outside rushed in do to hearing the rapid increase in the heart rate from the monitors herself seeing why the patient was awake and judging by Mika's body language along with her increase of breathing in a panic attack already going for a sedative even if the patient can't do much like Mika its still wise to be ready for a panic attack is still stressful and could like Pandora said aggravate Mika's injury's

Mika registered the other person in the room as another Alchemist she had seen around central before but other then that, the words of comfort were lost on her. She didn't like feeling like this, she felt so helpless without her automail, exposed.. She is still panicking, looking around the room for her automail and wondering why it was taken from her...

She saw the nurse get close with the syringe and instinct kicked in as she tried to knock it away with her automail arm only to remember she didnt have it. She used her other arm and knocked the syringe out of the nurses hand, she was not going to let them knock her out. She wanted her boyfriend, she wanted Ed....

She started breathing harder and harder, hyperventelating....her world started to blur and spin.

The nurse seeing that its going to be like that on the syringe kicking most likely each time see trys and the fact Mika most likely would before the nurse got enough help Mika would be passed out from hyperventilating''slow down breath gently in deep slow breaths or else you'll pass out without a injection need among other affects ''stated the nurse in a matter-of-fact tone

(re-read my first post. it wasn't taken. the rebound from the alchemic reaction destroyed it.)

Mika was already falling back onto her pillow by the time she was trying to calm herself. She passed out for a moment before she opened her eyes back up, more calm now and tries to sit back up again. A bit harder now without the initial adrenaline rush she first had. Eventually she gets herself sitting up, but still feels naked without her automail, she really wonders what happened to it. She looks at the two women, hoping to get a response.

Pandora having a good ideal what Mika wanted to know sense she was so worked up and how she acted knowing what herself is about to say might bug Mika''Mika isn't it? Well your automail is being replaced by in fullmetals opinion the best automail mechanic and engineer after it shattered ''Pandora sighed as she knows Mika doesn't work well with most people if at all''I'm also your new partner ''

Mika just stared in shock for a moment, she shattered her automail..... Her head hung down as the gravity of the situation sunk in. Not only did she perform an experiment alone that she should have done with Ed, she also destroyed her automail, to which now Ed knows what she did and that she got hospitalized and Winry is probably going to kill her next time Mika, Ed, and Al go to visit her because of Mika destroying another set of her automail.

It almost went right over her head until her brain let her register the end of the sentence and even then it took her a moment. She started going through quick outbursts from confusion to realization to anger. "...partner....partner?.....MY NEW PARTNER!? WHAT!?!?"

The nurse upon Mika screaming gave her a slight whack on the head then crossed her arms''I will not allow screaming in this hospital unless your in pain or some condition that warrant it''

Pandora was observing Mika throughout her reactions the shock she wasn't surprised after all Mika is dependent on the items to go along with a normel'ish life but when she got screaming from Mika she cut her thoughts on what she was filing away in her head ''Calm down it's not that bad''Pandora knows by reports Mika could leave today if she takes it easy which should be no problem seeing as Mika at the moment lacks automail but still theres a possibility that she doesn't ''I'll give you a choose we both waste each others time in a boring hospital or you be with me at my place ''
