Sweetie Belle was fast asleep in her bed, dreaming about her and her two best friends, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo, getting their cutie marks. The three fillies have tried just about anything and everything to find their special talents, and receive their cutie marks. But so far... nothing worked. And Diamond Tiara, the little bully at school, would mock them for being 'blank flanks', which didn't help much at all.
Thankfully, today wasn't a school day, so Sweetie Belle wouldn't have to endure the bullying. However, Applebloom was helping her family harvest apples, and Scootaloo was hanging out with Rainbow Dash, so Sweetie Belle couldn't play with her friends today.

Rarity was sleeping soundly in her bed, dreaming of dresses and fashion, as she always did. She eventually woke up, rubbing her eyes with her hooves and getting off of her bed. She knew at this hour, Sweetie Belle was most likely still asleep, especially on a weekend. However, a lady must be up at the proper hour, and she was trying to enforce that with Sweetie Belle. She walked into the room Sweetie Belle was resting in, slowly opening the door. "Sweetie Belle, darling, it's time to get up." She said, walking over to where Sweetie Belle was resting.

" Mrrgh... " Sweetie Belle groaned, turning to face her back towards Rarity and pulling the covers over her head. She wasn't exactly a morning pony, or much of a lady as her sister would've liked. " Five more minuuuteessss... " She whined.

"Good, you're up." Rarity said, levitating a brush over to them with her magic and brushing her sister's mane, as if she were a doll. "Now, would you like breakfast?" She asked sweetly.

Sweetie Belle flinched a little, the brush snagging on a few snarls and tangles. She smiled a bit at the mention of breakfast, however. " Yeah! Do I get to help, sis? " She asked.

Rarity smiled sheepishly as Sweetie Belle asked to help with breakfast. "Of course, darling!" She said, the slightest tinge of nervousness in her voice.
