Appearance: Sierra is something of a modest girl, but her appearance isn’t extremely suggestive of that. She prefers skirts to pants pretty much any day of the week, mostly due to her lack of choice in underwear. She doesn't like fancy or over the top dress, typically preferring normal clothes for a girl her age, not showing off what little cleavage her A cup breasts give her aside from what her shirts offer, and skirts not too short, but not too long to be a prude either. This has changed over the last few years, but she’ll typically wear something under her skirt like pants. Not to look childish, but to prevent onlookers from seeing anything they really don’t need to.
She prefers to keep her shoulder length brown hair manageable and out of her face, often tied up in a ponytail or pulled back with a head band. She prefers tennis shoes to other types as it prevents her being typecast into any groups, and has a distinct lack of jewelry and accessories.
History: Sierra was the older of two children to a middle class family growing up in the Colorado area. Things were not ideal, that was for sure, but definitely manageable to her and her younger sister. There was no father in the picture, a divorce had left them with visits from him and nothing else after he moved across the country and became successful. They didn’t hurt on money, but they could have used more, and it resulted in what some would call a “boring” childhood. No trips, no travelling, just the mother and her two children.
Not really much else to say until the eventful bits. Sierra performed very well in school, never got in trouble, and her mother went through a couple of boyfriends. They all left the kids alone more or less, ranging from buying them toys to simply pretending they weren’t there. It wasn’t the most nurturing childhood for her or her sister, but it was enough for them to still come out ok. They lived in an ok neighborhood with lots of kids, so they had socializing and all that growing up, just no real tutoring or stay at home mom or anything to really push it into idyllic.
Things stayed more or less this way until Sierra was thirteen, when their mom had found a boyfriend in the next town over. They went to visit him, and coming back, her mom got in a car crash. Alcohol is suspected, but wasn’t ever proven or told to the kids at the very least. Sierra had nerve damage in at the base of her spine, causing diminished reaction time and pain sensitivity in both. The result essentially left her partially paralyzed in her legs, resulting in a dependance on diapers.
Since then, she has bounced around foster care with her brother, getting a little more timid ever since the accident for obvious reasons, but still staying positive. Eventually, the two found and settled at Shillito.
Personality: Sierra is a timid, shy girl who is confident in herself and her abilities, but doesn’t like to go and make a fuss about things or draw attention to her. She is an avid student and musician, playing clarinet. While she’s shy around people and gets uncomfortable among crowds, she doesn’t seem to mind performing in front of groups of them. She’s an introversive person, but once she’s comfortable with someone, she opens up a bit more.
She’s a loving, caring type, but is also quite vulnerable and needs some loving and caring every once in a while.
Medical: Sierra has partial paralysis in and around her waist from sudden pressure put on her spine during the car accident. This has resulted in almost complete bladder incontinence, to the point where she has extremely little control and wears full strength diapers at all times in order to compensate. The accident has also caused a small lack of coordination in her legs and diminished reflexes, making sports difficult for her, but is fairly negligible outside of physical activity.
