Twilight's study break

Twilight had once again skipped sleep like she has atleast every other day sense becoming a Princess though this week shes skipped sleep 5 days in a row now and hasn't eaten properly either shes pretty much been running on coffee and sugar in favor of sleep which is causing her to twitch as shes been constantly drinking very sugary coffee while doing work . She had been eating so little shes fairly light weight no one really would notice outside of the castle as Twilight has been staying in the castle most of the time sense getting her royal duty's set up

All of the current princesses were growing worried about Twilight's behaviour. She was clearly studying way too hard ever since becoming a princess herself and it was starting to effect her health. While they understood she felt more responsibility to study since she was a princess now she definitely needed a break. Luna could confirm she was skipping even on sleep. As such, Celestia called into the library where Twilight was studying, intent on informing her that she was going to be having a rest. She cleared her throat to get her attention since she was mesmerised by the book.

Twilight had been reading a book that had been restricted to the masses therefore once she became a princess it and several others she finally got to read, she had been reading a book one of her friends ancestors wrote namely a Heartstring made book. To Twilight it was fascinating even if the subject was on a creature most know as a myth but she wasn't going to just disregard it as not worth reading after all the so called fairy tail about Luna was real. Sure Twilight most of the time was reading important stuff but she took a break from the books that matter as such she found the book shes reading as a kinda break from the serious books. Upon the noise of somepony clearing there throat near her she without looking up/away from the book said on autopilot''If this is about eating I already told you and the rest of the staff I'm not interested in a meal or hungry though if you could bring me a very strong cup of coffee with alot of sugar or honey in it would be appreciated''Its clear by that statement Twilight hadn't realized it was Celestia who had trying to get her attention and Celestia just barely got any success out of the attempt

"Twilight Sparkle, it's awfully rude to ignore one of your fellow princesses" she responded to her, noting that she hadn't even looked up to check who it was. She wasn't at all bothered by it however, she already knew the state she was in so it was to be expected. "It's Princess Celestia" she added, knowing this would get her attention.

Twilight lost the telekinesis spell she had on the book for a moment when she heard she had said such a thing to one of the other three princesses let alone Celestia but Twilight caught the book with her telekinesis spell just before it hit the floor. ''Oh sorry Princess Celestia I hadn't realized it you was''Twilight said as she got out of the chair giving a bow out of habit once''I thought it was one of the castle staff like normal please forgive my rudeness.''

"You need not bow before me anymore Twilight Sparkle" she said with a slight giggle. "Although I would expect you to extend the same level of politeness to the castle staff as you would do me"

"In any case, the reason I am here is that the other princesses and I feel you need to take a short break from your studies" she informed her.

Twilight blushed slightly at the fact once again she forgot she hadn't need to bow before Celestia''Its a habit''Twilight said mostly in her own defense on the bowing remark Celestia had brought up. As the conversation shipped to the staff Twilight rubbed the back of her head with a a hoof''I'm just a little cross as they won't leave me alone sense becoming a princess''Twilight had to admit its a stupid reason but its the truth on why she spoke how she did. Twilight shook her head on taking a break from studying ''I can't theres too much legal studying before I can take over some of the day and night court not to forget everything else a princess is required for ''Twilight said intent on learning it as fast as she can she needs to know such things she also wants to make it so the two main co-rulers of Equestria has more time to themselves sooner then later

"There is no need to rush your studies Twilight. While we all appreciate you want to learn everything right away to help us out, we don't want you doing it like this. It's most unhealthy" she explained to her.

"I have spoken with all the other princesses, your brother and your friends about it and they all agree you need a break. Part of being a princess is looking after yourself too, not just caring about your subjects to a fault"

Twilight sighed knowing Celestia's right but Twilight had for years had a similar way of studying she just upped the degree of her study method quite abit. Not that she would agree with Celestia telling her to relax or the others because no pony had aside from Spike and Cadance had voiced concern on her method of learning albeit then she atleast was eating regularly enough not to merit too much concern seeing as she was supplying her body with needed nutrition then but ever sense she became a princess she had been skipping most meals and when she would eat it wasn't much

''I don't care if its unhealthy I enjoy learning you know plus the sooner I can get to my duty's the more time you and Luna can enjoy together. ''Twilight protested as she stomp a hoof down irritated at the assumption/ideal in Twilights sleep deprived mind Celestia was worried she would either do a better job or destroy the ruling system thats why Celestia was trying to get her away from what to Twilight is precious books. Still she doesn't like to disagree with her mentor but she really wants to do something for the co-rulers for the two to have personal time
