[Emerald Dream]

Rainbow Dash stood atop a small cloud overlooking a grassy field that was located just outside of ponyville. She looked down through her flight goggles and prepared herself. She was out there today to practice a new routine to impress the wonderbolts at this years Best Young Flyers Competition. She would really need to show them her stuff if she was going to top her performance last year.

Taking a deep breath Rainbow dove from the cloud, pulling up right before she hit the ground instantly moving into several barrel rolls. Soon it was time for the sonic rainboom. Rainbow Dash flew as high as she could and then flipped upside down and started to dive again. Her speed rose until soon a cone was forming around her. "Just a little faster!" she thought as she closed her eyes and pushed herself to move even faster.

Just as she was about to break the sound barrier and leave the sky covered in a spectacular array of color, Rainbow felt her wings begin to cramp. "No! Not now!" Rainbow thought in a panic. She tried to pull up to keep herself from hitting the ground, but it was no use. She barreled towards the ground only able to lift herself enough to keep from hitting the cold hard ground straight on.

Soon enough Rainbow felt her body meet with the ground uttering a sickening thud. She rolled several times before finally meeting the end of the terrible experience with her body hitting a nearby tree and stopping her momentum from carrying her further. The pain was excruciating. Too much for her consciousness to bear. The last thought she had before she blacked out was if anyone would find her way out here. She knew fluttershy would sometimes come out this way to take care of some woodland creatures that lived by. She hoped that she would be lucky enough for someone to find her. She then roughly fell into a relieving unconsciousness.

(Sorry bout the time skip I just figured you wouldn't want a hard post of working in the waking up I also figured the clinch waking up in the hospital would be better)

Fluttershy shortly before stumbling upon Rainbow Dash training had been on her way to check on a new hive of bees to see if they needed any help like sugar water to produce enough honey or not. Though when she noticed Dash training she stopped to watch kinda hidden as she didn't want to distract her more then friend she would say girlfriend but she hadn't the nerve to think girlfriend let alone say it out loud even after all each other have been through .

When Fluttershy noticed Dash loose control she darted towards the path Dash took already intent on taking Dash to the hospital knowing it'll be difficult to get Dash to the hospital but she would rather be it difficult then waste time going to look for a pony to help as time might be a important factor as shes not sure if Dash hit her head hard or not and she knows head injury's are very dangerous.

Fluttershy without thinking started to try and gently get Dash on herown back as dragging wouldn't be wise at all

Rainbow Dash slowly opened her eyes quickly shutting them again due to an intense sharp pain in her head. She placed her hoof to her head and felt bandages. Slowly but surely her memories of what had occurred earlier that day came flowing back to her.

Her first thought was on her wings. What if they had been damaged!? She shot up and turned around seeing that except for several bruises and scrapes, they were fine. She breathed a sigh of relief and layed back down in the bed she was in.

The first thing she noticed was Fluttershy sitting there looking at her. Out of all the ponys that could have been there, Rainbow was glad that she was. Her calming gaze and aura about here always made her feel calm ever since they were kids. Suddenly it dawned upon Rainbow that Fluttershy must have taken her here after she crashed.

"Fluttershy, Did you take me here after I crashed?" Rainbow asked

Fluttershy who had been staying at Rainbow Dashs side as much as she could had a smile the moment she seen Rainbow Dash eyes open Fluttershy upon being asked if she brought Dash there Fluttershy nodded ''Yes ''Fluttershy paused a moment as a thought crossed her mind as she in a very soft voice said''Why didn't you have somepony with you just encase something happened when you was practicing ?''Fluttershy's voice on that had concern and she hopes Rainbow Dash plays of the training remark as a lucky guess not wanting called out that she was in truth hiding while watch Rainbow Dash practice as that might be found as creepy or odd

Rainbow stuttered for a moment. The thought did cross her mind that maybe she should have someone there or at least nearby when practicing.

"I-I was um... Practicing a new technique but it uh has to be about 20% cooler before I let anyone see it." Rainbow stated. In truth she was having trouble with the sonic Rainboom lately and didn't want any of her friends thinking less of her. What if she messed up and someone saw her and she became the laughing stock of equestria!? Rainbow just couldn't handle that.

She then noticed a damp feeling around her lower half. Immediately she threw the sheets of the bed off herself. Rainbow couldn't belief her eyes. She was wearing a diaper! And a wet one at that!

"Fluttershy! What the hell is this?" Rainbow practically screamed "How badly am I hurt?" She began to hyperventilate.

Fluttershy knew that lame excuse of Dash's all to well then again she couldn't point it after all she has used even lamer more filly'ish ones even at her age,At the moment Dash practically screamed Fluttershy shrank back some,though once she noticed Rainbow Dash start to hyperventilate she wasn't sure what to do in terms of if she should call a nurse or try calming Dash down herself.

Waying the options she figured trying herself might be best''Its okay Dash no need to get so worked up,take slow deep calming breaths getting upset isn't going to help''Her voice was barely above a whisper with what she had said but should be heard with how close she is to Dash hoping Dash doesn't have another out burst and planning to answer how bad Dash is hurt after after Dash calms down or one of the ponys working comes in

The sound of Fluttershy's voice quickly calmed Rainbow Dash down.

"Yeah, your right Fluttershy. We should find a doctor and find out what's going on."

As If on cue, a Unicorn Stallion wearing a lab coat and glasses trotted in. He was holding some charts with his magic. He flipped through a couple of them as he approached the edge of Rainbow Dash's bed seemingly entranced in whatever was written down on the charts.

"Afternoon miss Rainbow Dash. Had a bit of a fall did we?" He stated plainly.

"Doc! you gotta tell me why I am wearing this thing!" Rainbow said indicating the sodden undergarment that was currently wrapped around her waist.

The doctor paced around for a moment and let out a deep sigh. "Rainbow Dash, you're probably not going to like what I am about to tell you." He removed his glasses and began to rub his temple with his hoof

"What's wrong with me?" Rainbow asked in an increasingly desperate voice. She had a bad feeling about what news the doctor had for her.

"We are not quite sure." The doctor said plainly placing his glasses back upon his snout. "We think that during your crash, you somehow damaged your spinal cord. Now the only effects we can see of this is that you are now mostly incontinent."

"What's that mean?" Rainbow asked worriedly. This resulted in a facehoof from the doctor. He had known that Rainbow was a bit, well lets say, thick headed, but he had hoped that he wouldn't have to explain this to her.

"It means that you can no longer have control over your bladder or bowels, thus the diaper."

Rainbow was stricken with terror. "How long will this last? You can't mean that this is forever!" Rainbow was on the verge of tears now.

The doctor averted his gaze from her. "I am terribly sorry" He said softly.

Rainbow couldn't believe her ears! She was stuck in diapers, FOREVER!? What would her friends think of her. What would scootaloo and her fans think of her? She was pretty positive that the wonderbolts wouldn't accept a diaper clad mare as their new member either. She looked over at fluttershy and then averted her gaze blushing deeply. She had deep feeling for the yellow pony that stood at the side of her bed. She didn't know yet how far her feelings went for her but none of that mattered now. Her childhood friend probably wouldn't want to even be seen with her the way she was now.

Fluttershy couldn't help in her mind finding Dash cute and well something more with the blush Dash has. She of course knew from the look on Dash's face Dash was upset so Fluttershy nervously spoke up to try and comfort Dash with words as hugging or kissing shes not bold enough to do at the moment with another pony in the room atleast. ''As little as this might seem Dash I don't think differently about you ''

Fluttershy paused a moment in her speech to make herself say the next part not to force them out in false statement but rather to just say them as its quite brave/bold of her in her normal demeanor around races that can speak''If you need anything or have a request or favor ask away''Secretly Fluttershy is hoping Dash wants to stay with her at her home that was a time for Fluttershy to blush at what she wants secretly

"I will leave you two alone for the time being, but Rainbow Dash, you should know that other than the incontinence you will be fine. Although you may have a bit trouble flying and even walking around for about a week. you may want to stay with someone so that they can help you out doing some of the more strenuous of your daily tasks" The doctor then took his leave and closed the door.

Rainbow smiled at her friend. She was glad Fluttershy was able to look past this and still be there for her. Needless to say, Rainbow would be beside herself if she lost someone she felt so close to.

"Well um.. Fluttershy there is something you could help me out with." Rainbow's face was a deep shade of red and she was poking her hooves together. She hated asking other ponies for favors. Not as much as Applejack but still not one of her favorite activities.

"I'm going to need sometime to get used to all....this. It would be great if I could have a friend there to help me you know... cope with it all. So if you wouldn't mind... Could I um... you know... stay at your place for a while? PLus the doctor did say I might be pretty weak for a while." Rainbow said, glad she got the words out. She anxiously waited for Fluttershy's reply. She hoped she hadn't been to forward. Fluttershy was very fragile after all.

Fluttershy wasn't expecting her desire of Dash asking to be with her fullfiled as she had thought it wasn't going to happen but she was proven wrong when Dash asked to be at her place''Of course you can we're friends after all and I'll help anyway I can ''Fluttershy said with enthusiasm and hugged Dash carefully so as not to aggravate too many if any of the sore spots and scrapes on Dash. Fluttershy would have done more but quickly calmed herself before she did something that might send the wrong message at this time for there images and withdrew herself from hugging Dash.

''But a can I change your you know''Fluttershy gestured towards Dash's soaked diaper and the open cabinet that a nurse left open that has diapers of Dash's size in it.''Atleast just this once if not more I mean if thats okay if not then forget I ever mentioned it''Fluttershy was worried that she in her still enthusiastic state of mind might have just weirded Dash out or made Dash change her mind at staying with her.
