From Dresses to Diapers (Private for Arkady and Icestorm)

Rarity groaned as she stirred. Her entire body ached and she was atop one of the most uncomfortable beds in Equestria.

As her vision cleared, she got a good look at her surroundings. The medical chart and the utterly unfashionable skimpy green gown she wore confirmed it. She was in Ponyville General.

"Ah, Rarity, I see you are awake," a green Unicorn said as she trotted in. "I am Doctor Heal Bone - the trauma specialist here at Ponyville General."

"Yes Doctor," Rarity replied as she looked around her room. "I would like to know if I can be discharged now."

Dr. Heal Bone's horn flared bright gold as she took the bedside chart and started examining it. After a few minutes, she spoke. "Well, Rarity, the broken bones mended quite well thanks to our healers. However, there are some lingering effects."

Rarity gulped. "What is it?"

"One of your broken bones damaged the nerves leading to your bladder and bowels. I am sorry to say, but you've become incontinent."

At that moment, Rarity threw off the blanket. There, wrapped around her hindquarters was a plain blue hospital issue diaper. Judging from the way it was bulging out, she had already wet. Rarity's lip quivered as she looked down at her embarassing garment.

"I... I... I have to" - she gulped - "wear diapers?"

"We prefer the term 'incontinence briefs'," Dr. Heal Bone replied as she replaced the medical chart.

"Can you fix it?"

Dr. Heal Bone shook her head. "Incontinence is a notoriously intractable problem. I'm sorry, but there's nothing we can do. Anyways, Rarity, you are cleared for release. One of the nurses will come by to assist you."

The Unicorn doctor then trotted out of the room. Rarity's ears splayed to the side as she looked down at the wet diaper clinging to her hips. She'd never become a star fashion designer now! She'd be the laughingstock of Canterlot!

All this was too much for the Unicorn mare. She bent over and sobbed into her hooves.

Ice storm was just coming into the Hospital on her way to the clinic part of it for her check up. She'd come every six months just to see if there was any possible way that her own incontinence problem could be fixed. It wasn't the fact that she minded the diapers. After a while, they had actually become quick comfortable, and just as much of a staple part of her as her cutie mark was. Even if her problem were to be cured, she'd probably continue to wear them. Most of Ponyville knew that she wore them at this point, and the reasoning, and most seemed very nice and understanding about it. With the exception of the two schoolyard bullies of course, but she got them back by letting their parents know what they were doing. At that point, the two fillies were forced into wearing and using diapers constantly for the next week with Cherilee changing them in the front of the classroom for all others to see. To this day, they've never made fun of another filly.

As she began to check in, she noticed one of the other Patients talking with Doctor Heal Bone. The purple mane, and the white coat, there was no mistaking who it was. It was the Fashionata Rarity, and she was in a very wet diaper, and she looked to be in a sever amount of distress. Her sympathy went out to the mare, and she knew what it was like to be in her position. She must have just received the news for the first time. She walked over to the white Unicorn, her own diaper crinkling as she trotted over and pulled Rarity into a tight hug. She knew that she needed a friend right now, and she'd made more than enough dresses for Ice, and had been on plenty of lunches with her enough to be considered a friend, or at least she hoped. "It's okay Rarity. No pony will think any different of you, I promise. I felt the same way when I was told the same thing I'm presuming you were when Dr. Bone was in here. But no pony has looked at me differently, or have treated me differently. Well, with the exception of those who actually wanted to help," she told Rarity with a soft smile.

Rarity sniffled as Ice hugged her. "Do you think so?" She then looked at her diaper.

"But the Canterlot ponies! They'll..." she trailed off. "And fashion! Nopony in the fashion world will take a mare who wears and uses diapers seriously!"

A nurse came in with an extra diaper. He turned to Ice. "Ma'am, I'm going to ask you leave so I can clean up Rarity."

Rarity scowled. "Excuse me, I am not a foal! I am capable of dealing with my own hygiene!"

The stallion placed the diaper and changing supplies on Rarity's bed. "All right, but if you need help, just press the call button." He then trotted out of the room and drew the curtains closed.

Rarity then looked at the supplies. She sighed as she didn't quite know how to change a diaper.

"Well, If the higher ups in fashion want to overlook the best fashion designer in equestria over something as menial as a diaper, then they don't really deserve to be your customers now do they? After all, you still have a wide array of customers here in Ponyville and Canterlot, and I can't see either of the princesses letting anypony get away with that kind of treatment in Canterlot," she told her. Who am I kidding, the princesses were the only nice ponies there... she thought to herself as the nurse originally told her to leave. Rarity stopped him though telling her that she could take care of things herself, however the look of uncertainty in her eyes made Ice question wither she actually knew how.

"Hmm, well, if you'd like, we're both grown mares, diapers aside, I could stay with you at the boutique or you could come stay at my shop for a bit. After all, I won't lie that it's not going to take some getting used to, and judging by your reaction when you looked at the changing supplies, well... I'll leave it at it's easy to read. That being said, would you like my to change you? I don't mind," Ice told Rarity with a smile.

(Would you want this to eventually get intimate with Ice and Rarity or no?)

"I'd like to try by myself," Rarity said as her horn lit up. She undid her sodden diaper, wiped herself down and diapered herself. True to her inexperience, the diaper hung loosely off her hindquarters.

She nodded. "I'll have to stay at my shop. I have to take care of Sweetie Belle."

Ice smiled as Rarity tried to diaper herself, but just like she was when she first started off, it was a struggle for her. "Here," she said tightening the tapes to where the diaper fit snuggly around her flank. "One thing I've learned from Experience, is that you have to make sure they are good and tight. Not tight enough to be uncomfortable, but anything less than snug, and they will leak," she commented. "And that's perfectly fine. I have enough put back that I can afford to take a few days off. That being said, we should probably stop by the pharmacy on the way back, and I know just the one to stop at. Come on follow me!" Ice smiled as she waited for Rarity to leave the room with her.

Rarity blushed as Ice tightened her diaper. She got out of bed and trotted after Ice. "Excuse me, if you don't mind me asking, exactly how did you end up in... your current situation?"

Even though everpony was too busy dealing with their own affairs, Rarity couldn't help but imaginr they were all talking about her conspicous diaper.

"Well, the bedwetting part of my condition started when my father threw me through the living room wall," she told Rarity shuddering at the memory. It wasn't something that she normally liked recalling in her past, but if it helped Rarity right now, then she'd delve as far as she needed to. She was a friend in trouble and she needed to make sure that at the very least, she was as happy as she could be given the situation.

"As far as the daytime part of the issue, I'm not one hundred percent sure what caused it, but the nerve endings in my lower abdomen had been separated, though I guess I should have seen that coming. That nerve damage was what made me a bedwetter to begin with. That being said though, I have no control over when I can go. I can feel that I have to go a split second prior to me already filling my diaper with whatever my body decides to put in it. I'll admit that changing them yourself does get a bit old. Being changed by somepony else definitely, at least in my experience, makes the condition a lot more tolerable," she explained to Rarity. "Oh, I know, how about while I'm there for the few days to get everything set, we take care of each other and change each other! Then you can see what I mean about how much better it is with somepony else doing all the work!" Ice smiled. Whether Rarity would actually let her change her would be another story though.

"That being said, This is the only pharmacy that I go to here in Ponyville, and you'll see why once we get inside. At a glance it looks normal, but just follow me," she smiled to her hoping that at least she'd like the surprise that she was leading her to. While Ice wasn't a complete adult foal by any stretch, even she would admit to getting bored of plain white diapers ever now and then. This particular pharmacy had a basement level with all kinds of specially design disposable diapers for adult mares and stallions. It at the very least offered some enjoyment to a condition that they had to live with.

Rarity trotted after Ice. "Oh, I'm sorry. Well, in my case, I lost my footing and fell down the stairs. Unfortunately, I collided with a shelf, which then collapsed on me."

As the fashionista trotted after Ice, she was unaware of her tail involuntarily hiking as she deposited a few lumps of manure into her diaper.

Ice smiled as Rarity followed her into the pharmacy. She was happy that Rarity was trusting her, and she wanted to make sure that it was something that she didn't violate. When they went in, she made her way to the front desk.

"Hey Ice!"

"Hey Goldenheart!" she replied.

"Do you need into the special area today?"

"Yes, actually, Rarity and I both do."

"Oh..." she she replied seeing the fact that Rarity was also wearing a diaper, and her tail flagging being the tell tail sign that she was making a deposit. "Good thing that I just got a new shipment in then," she smiled as she pressed a button under the counter to reveal the passage leading downstairs. Underneath the main story was every Foal-style disposable diaper that you could imagine in a size made for adult ponies. "and there's a changing table over there in the corner," she replied as the smell reached Ice's nose. She didn't feel anything in her diaper, so she was fairly certain that it had been Rarity that had just had another accident.

No sooner did that realization hit her though, did she feel the seat of her own diaper get heavy, and a loud hiss filled the air as she filled her diaper to the brim with manure and urine. Without missing a beat however, and not even caring that she had just messed herself, she turned to Rarity. "So what do you think?"
