Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on DiaperedAnime:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

Pokemon Tv Show getting boring
Ok so ever since Pokemon Black and white games came i've neglected to watch the tv show itself since the plot is starting to get stale and the voicework is not that great. So the question is to all pokemon fans are the games any better?

I stopped watching it after Honnen. There still running new episodes but after you watch it awhile you grow tired of it and move on. Not saying it's boring or anything. ^^;

I stopped after Sinnoh, myself. Saw some of Black and White, but Iris annoyed me and I stopped watching because of her.

( didn't even know this site had a anime lounge ) Black and white pretty much made me lose my heart for the show i rather play the games but looking at x and y i hate how the gameplay looks

Well the show has gotten stale, but the games are still pretty good.
Heck I remember when they made pokemon marbles ^_^
Right now I'm playing X and Y, there pretty cool. the 3D messes with me though

That moment when people are talking as if the show was ever any good...
The characters have always been 1 dimensional caricatures of actual 10 year olds, who are often lacking anything of interest to begin with. The show is there for little kids as mindless entertainment and to push the actual sales of other products, like the toys and primarily the games.
Looking at the show as an actual anime is like looking at underwear with depends pads in them as an actual diaper. :P

Yeah, I stopped watching around Diamond and Pearl.
Honestly, I think the story should have stopped following Ash after the Battle Frontier season; at the end, he should have accepted Brandon's offer to be a Frontier Brain, and had Diamond and Pearl focus on Dawn, Lucas, and/or a new protagonist entirely.
Although, a lot of the battles in the more recent episodes are actually really impressive, and I sometimes find myself watching an episode or two just to find these battles (The Pokemon League Tournaments in particular are always incredible), rather than any actual interest in the show.

I find it getting even worse. According to one of my former high school friends, he told me Pokémon is getting worse. Ash is still 10 years old and each journey he visits, his Pikachu is like, level 1 again. He only has won 2 Pokémon Leagues, and lost at each of the others. Not to mention one of his opponents had legendaries! WTF?! It's like Deadpool stormed in and broke the fourth wall.
And also, Ash should at least be an adult by now. Every person he meets is older than him, and hasn't got a girlfriend for crying out loud! And not to mention, he should at least keep one legendary Pokémon. He's losing by the second to his rivals.

Not that I'm disagreeing, but you're just taking your friend's word for it, instead of making that evaluation for yourself?

Why does it matter that Ash is still 10? How does that impact the quality of the show at all?
Also, leveling is NOT something that's present in the show (It's mentioned once or twice, sure, but it's more in reference to the games, rather than implication that it's present in the show). Seriously, when was the last time you heard a Pokemon 'grow to level ##' in the anime?

Oh yes, because he totally lost to Gary in the Silver League Conference, and he never ever beat Paul. Why should he keep a legendary, exactly? To completely defeat the purpose of facing new challenges everyday? To have a singular trump card that would take away any reason he would have to make new friends with new people and Pokemon?
I'm not defending the show, and yes, I really do think it's dragged on way too long, but these just aren't fair criticisms.
