Two Padded Tales Become One (Private RP)

It was another sunshiny day in a small apartment complex outside of New York. It was relatively close to a park, which gave the residents a beautiful view of the giant pillars of oak that blossomed with green in the spring and became covered in white by winter. The height of these trees, however, never managed to affect the sunrise that came up not from those trees, but an open parkway that stretched to the Long Island Sound, managing to peak above the sprawling metropolis itself to greet them. And it was another one of those days, slightly chilly yet completely sunny and inviting.

It was Friday, the last day of school for the week as well as work for the typical 9-to-5ers. One man, in particular, a single father in his mid-thirties with black, right-parted hair, deep green eyes, a scruffy-looking beard and a suit that screamed middle-classed working American, was currently flipping some eggs, letting the delicious aroma of his cooking be the first sign of an apparently good day. The man worked as a programmer for a private company and was actually looking to be given a promotion by the end of his day. Although a proud man, he never stuck it into the noses of any of his friends or colleagues; the only one who really received most of that was the only other person he lived with.

After cooking the eggs and placing them on two plates (which both contained an even amount of french toast and bacon along with two glasses of orange juice), the man walked down the hall and knocked on the door at the end. "Alright, sweetie! Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey! You gotta get up so Daddy can fill that tummy up and take you to school," he said in a sing-song voice, standing and waiting.

It was also a sun shiny day at another apartment complex, a few miles away in another part of new york! This one instead of being close to a park how ever, was right across the street from the middle of the park. Very nice! In it one of the residents was a women in her mid-thirties, dressed for her day all ready in a red sweater and some suit pants, she knew her son wasn't how ever, so she was on her way to wake him. She didn't even bother knocking, that never worked. Nope she opened up the door and strutted right over to throw the covers off him. "Hurry up or you won't have time to get breakfast!" She chimed, as her black hair settled after that motion, getting a little bit in the way of her blue eyes but she quickly corrected that.

Nina yawned and sat up, raising her arms up high to stretch out. "Be there in a second!" She called, then flung off her covers, and slide her feet over the side of the bed. Getting out of the bed and straight into a pair of slippers that flopped all the way out of her room. She had blonde hair, that was currently a complete mess, she had one hand fixing that, while her other reached out and went to wrap her daddy in a hug. Also of note, was a goodnite peeking it's waistband out from around her jamie's waistband

The boy, who had a similar shade of brown hair as the woman, mumbled and grumbled as he sat in bed, apparently being awoken. "Moooom... give me five more minutes..." The boy mumbled from under his pillow, clutching it as he remained face-down in bed in his white tanktop and flannel pajamas.

"There's my little girl! How'd you sleep, honey?" The man named Gerald replied, picking the girl up and cradling her with ease, knowing she still liked being carried from time to time. "Looks like someone has a serious case of bedhead this morning..."

Amy sighed and tugged the pillow up off him as well, tossing it at the bottom of his bed along with his blankets. "Yea sure, just don't expect me to call you in for being a lazy face." She said with a giggle, and went to head out of the room to quickly toss together some breakfast for him. She liked days when she had time to actually make him a good breakfast, but most mornings she just had time to fulfill her parently duty of throwing together calories for him.

Nina released the hug and let herself be scooped up, moving her now free other hand up to also work on fixing up her hair. "Yea, I didn't really dry it off well before I went to sleep." she explained, grinning as the smell of breakfast reached her nose. "Mmm!" She mumbled leaning to glance over her dad's shoulder and see the breakfast on the table. "That looks yummy!" She commented

The boy mumbled for a few more moments, finally sitting up with his messy hair and groggily making his way toward the kitchen. Jason, a rather foul-tempered and sometimes downright mean-spirited boy, was the daughter of Amy and in many ways her opposite. He didn't get along well with others because his words stung with vitriol, even for a child his age. His mother knew of these problems, but it seemed like they were getting better... or so she thought.
The boy smelled the admittedly tasty-smelling dinner and sat down at the table, though not saying a word.

"Well nothing a comb or a brush can't do to solve that," Gerald replied, smiling at the comment and setting the girl down at the table. "Why thank you, sweet-pea. But first... let me see something really quick..." Without warning (though for Nina, this was to be expected), the father brought the girl's pajama bottoms down and slipped a finger into the girl's goodnite to check its condition. He did this every day when the girl woke up to make sure she hadn't used it. He made a promise to her that if she kicked her bedwetting habits, he'd completely take her off of having to use nighttime protection. She had been clean for 3 nights now...

Amy hadn't prepared anything that special, just some toast and a side of eggs she'd wipped up quickly. She planted a kiss on his cheek, as she passed him in the hall as she headed back down it to get the last of what she'd need to be ready for work, also tossing some jeans, underwear, socks, and a t-shirt out of her son's closet and onto his bed for him, to save him the time of having to pick. Mostly it was for her though, evidently she was quite the busy body!

Nina smiled and went to take a seat at the table to start digging in, although when she heard him say 'but first' She sighed but grabbed her shirt and held it up so it wouldn't get in the way, as her dad reached down and checked her pull-up. Well, third time may have been the charm but fourth certainly wasn't. As soon as he finished checking though, she plopped down in her soggy padding and started digging into her break fast!

The boy just sighed and wiped the kiss off of his face, going to his designated seat at the dining room table and eating his breakfast. He secretly liked his mother's dinner, but he'd never give her the satisfaction of knowing that herself.

The man sighed as he pulled out a pair of moist fingers, then using a napkin to wipe them and toss it in the trash. She was getting so close... and the worst part was that she didn't even seem to notice or try to acknowledge it, either as if she was hiding it or genuinely had no idea she had wet herself during the night after not doing so for 3 straight nights. He stopped the girl, however, as she started to dig in, his palm placed above her hand on the plate. "Hey hey, woah there, kiddo! Don't you think you should get changed out of that yucky thing first?"

Amy got all of that done, then turned and headed her way back out the table, and took a seat next to her son while he ate. "So, whatcha got planned for school today?" She asked, this being the only little slice of the morning besides the short car ride, that she had time to spend some time with her son! Thankfully though, she had plenty of time after work, but it was not an easy task to get quality time with him!

Amy frowned, she had managed to get one bite of food in her mouth before her dad could stop her, but that just made it worse. "Dad..." She whined sadly, seeming to slump in her chair a little bit as she glanced up at him. She didn't care about the state of her pull-up, not that she wouldn't prefer to have been dry, but she certainly didn't wanna get changed before she ate! "But then it'll get cold..."

The boy did what he could to avoid the woman's gaze, but he could only do so much. He eventually groaned and faced the optimistic, happy mother. "Uh... a project and a test due..." The boy dryly replied with a piece of bacon sticking out of his mouth that he put back in and devoured. He hated tests, and boy, did he hate projects. He never turned any of them in, which made his grades suffer. His mother was well-aware of this, but the boy felt like she knew nothing about him.

"Not if you're quick about it, Nina!" The man replied, his hand still hovering above the breakfast plate. "Besides, wouldn't it feel so much better to have a pair of undies on instead of that wet thing?"

His mother frowned and glanced back into his room, and then at his backpack and said. "I haven't seen you working on any projects." Well, looks like a certain boy was not going to be having a very fun weekend! "And I haven't really seen you study much either." She added on, with a mix of sounding stern but also sounding disapointed and kinda sad. Why wouldn't her just try? He was plenty smart!

Nina rolled her eyes and got up, no use arguing over it. "Fiiine, but if it gets cold you're gonna make it up to me!" She said with a giggle, then headed to the bathroom. Sliding off the goodnite, wiping herself clean, and then hurrying over to her room. It was only her and her dad, and her dad had seen her naked plenty, so she didn't mind. Soon she came out of her room all dressed for the day, in her fancy new york private school uniform. Green and black checked skirt, black sweatervest with a white shirt underneath, and a light red coat with the school's patch on it. "Is it cooold?" She asked in a teasing voice
