Camp Shun Jump

head Consular Jakie smiles as she sees the first few buses of kids enter the summer camp. Camp Shu Jump was created for kids that were either in foster care or were in state custody. It gave them a cahnce to be a kid again

While most of the kids on the bus were happy and excited for camp, that wasn't really the case for 7-year-old Hunter. Hunter sat in the back of the bus looking down at the floor. He didn't like being around the other kids. They were mean to him. He was the smallest kid on the bus for one, always tiny for his age. Second of all, there were things about him that he didn't wanna be made fun of about. So he was actually dreading camp, when he should have been excited. His tummy felt uneasy like he was gonna be sick or something, from the nerves.

Jackie smiles and pviots on her feet as the buses start to unload "Welcome childreN!" She yells happily

Hunter sighed and slowly stood up and walked out of the bus feeling especially short behind the bigger kids. He walked down the steps and walked out into the hot sun touching the grass. He tried to blend in....

"Alright, now i will list off the cabin assignments! Cabin one: Consular: Julie Moore. Cabin two's Consular: Drake Spencer. Cabin 3's: Suzie Brown. And finally cabin 4, my cabin." Now all of you were given a slip of paper on the bus. The number on that paper is your cabin number." Hunter had gotten a four

Hunter looked down at the slip of paper. It said..."4". That meant he was in the cabin with that girl who was talking. She seemed....maybe nice. It was kinda hard to tell. Hunter didn't know when people were nice or mean. Lots of times people seemed nice but then they ended up mean. Nervous and shy he approached her....hoping he was going to the right place.

"Hey there Hunter!" Jackie smiles, having learned the faces of those in her cabin days ago "The rest of thekids in our cabin's bus broke down so its gonna be just us for a bit. By the way how is your... problem doing?" she says whispering that last part

Hunter looked up at the smiling face, but eyed it with fear and shyness. Hunter could be outgoing but when he was shy he froze up.....Just the two of them? That wasn't so bad...but soon the other kids would arrive....She seemed kind of nice but then she asked him the question and his face turned beet red. "P-p-problemm...?" he mumbled quietly.

"yes, your padding" She says whispering before yelling to the other people 'ALright guys head to your cabins and connect with your cabin mates'

Hunter crossed his arms, his face narrowing into a pout. "I...I don't GOT padding..." he said, hanging his head down. He just couldn't admit it....he wouldn't admit it. Nobody was going to find out not even her.....
