(I know what I'm doing so I'll start)

The first lecture of the new semester , Daniel Nicholson , the lecturer of the first year class showed up , he couldn't really be bothered with first years so early in the morning and was pretty sure they couldn't be bothered with him with hangovers and such from the sunday before. He was young for a lecturer , only recently passing his Phd. He had dark mahogany hair , grown in slightly curled locks , his eyes were a flint grey and rather cold looking. He had a grey fleece jacket on and a plain white shirt , very casual. He waited for the clock to tick into lesson time and started by introducing himself , there was no need for formalities at this level , so was just Danny to them.

Liam wasn't exactly the type to be hungover the first day of class; a bit meek and sheltered, he was just happy to be out of high school! His blue eyes peered toward the front of the class; he was seated just to the left of the professor, but two rows down. He was there to learn and listen; nothing particularly mischievous. He was a little caught off guard by the casualness of the professor, but he brushed it off as 'new school, new style.' sort of thing. He had his notebook out, taking notes here and there. The 5'6" teen squirmed some in his seat; he'd had some coffee that morning, and was wondering if he'd be able to get through the first lecture without running to the bathroom.

Danny saw the kid , unusual to have someone so interested on the first day. He was the only one up at the front and taking notes , everyone who was normal was up at the back trying not to be seen and here only because they had to or wanted to know what they had got themselves into. He shrugged and started the class. It was really basic stuff , most things they had done in high school like writing properly as well as hazards and warnings about plagiarism and such. He gave his room number and to come with any and all problems within reason. It wasn't highschool and he wasn't dealing with that sort of stuff. But he could help with other things. About a hour in he looked at his watch and told them to go for a break for ten minuets , smoke or whatever and went to sit at the desk while he waited for them to go and come back.

Liam immediately grabbed his bag and darted to the bathroom- after taking more than a few minutes to find it. The building was huge, the campus wage huge, and he was just a small piece of the much greater academic puzzle. He did his thing, and eventually found his way back to the class; 5 minutes or so into the professor continuing the lecture. He tried his best to sneak in, back up to his seat- but somebody had taken it! He shuffled past a couple other students to a seat 2 columns further down than he had been, trying to not cause a ruckus. He smiled cheesily at the professor, in a fairly apologetic manner.

Danny rolled his eyes and continued as if nothing was happening, he was wrapping up anyway , two hours was too much time but it was wither take to much or to little and he opted for too much to help with planning "I'm also arranging a private meeting soonish to get to know you better on a personal level and to get a better idea on your level of work , so bring a essay to the following question , about 100 words and one reference" he said scribbling it up in large letters in chalk "you can see me before if you're having trouble , no shame in that" he said "just sign the sheet with your name and number and I'll pick when to see you, you might get lucky , or not." he said as he finished up and let them go. He sat down by the desk and watched the flow of students , this wasn't needed nor marked for the final grade so didn't expect anyone to take him up on the offer.

Liam, of course, was trying very hard. He had been very serious about his academics from nearly Kindergarten, so he wanted to impress and make sure that any opportunity to become noticed by his professor in a positive way was taken. He immediately walked up and signed his name, giving a feint smile and walking off towards his next class, the last one to head out of the room.

Liam was the last out and the only one to sign his name. Danny watched him leave and looked at the name , humming a bit to himself. He mulled something over in his mind , he started whistling as he though , a rather nerving whistle but he kept a good pace as he pondered wither to strike at him or not. After all he would still get him the end of year pass. Although he might not know it. He took out a coin and flipped it , getting a result he nodded , got up and headed out. He was going to see him in just a few days , he would start then. Until then he had to get some things prepared.

The few days had passed; the professor had actually called! Liam was ecstatic, though still nervous; this was his first meeting, in private, with one of his own professors! Sure he'd talked to a few, but this one, Professor 'Danny,' was without question the most laid back and informal; which only made the lectures that much more interesting. There was a lot of getting to the point, a small bit of humor, and it was all of what Liam had hoped for! He readied himself, took a deep breath, and knocked on the professor's office door.

Danny was in his office , ear plugs in his ears , although hidden by his hair , he could still listen but couldn't hear the overarching music he was playing in the room. It was playing some relaxing music , although had a nasty little secret under the overtones. A clever little suggestion made to worm into someone's ear and into their subconscious , setting things up for later , as well as a simple get into trance set up. He waited for the boy to enter the room and he could cover everything up by going over his work , waiting for him to hit trance.
