An Undertale Idea
What if during a Semi-Nuetral Route when Sans judges you, he fights you like in the Genocide Route but is even tougher? Because you killed his brother, and nobody else in the game.
What if after seeing you kill his brother Sans follows you through the game, growing angrier every time you spare someone. Wondering why Papyrus didn't deserve your MERCY when everyone else did. Wanting you to kill at least one other monster to prove him wrong. And his rage culminates when he encounters you in Judgment Hall, seeing that you hadn't killed anyone else.
What if you decided to kill the only person that mattered to Sans, and nobody else?

Well the reason he didn't do this for real was because he is aware of your resets and knows you'll probably fix it later. You'll probably reset and Papyus will live again.
A main reason he may not do this is because you aren't a true threat to anyone else, and Sans job is to kill anyone who is a big threat, a genocideal threat. Lets also take into account his laziness as he probably only puts his energy into anything when he has too, such as your genocide fight, in this instance where he fights you only because you killed his brother (which indeed is something really sad) why should he try hard to take you down? It may not bring Papyus back because most people would just kill Sans and continue until they beat the game. There really be no point to fight you because it won't accomplish anything.
Does hat make sense? Did I word that good? What are your thoughts?

I see some good points in your arguments but I disagree.
Sans's knowledge of the timelines may make him a Nihlist, but he very obviously cares about Papyrus. He has nothing but positive things to say about his brother, he even gives you incorrect info on Blue attacks, so you'll have a harder time with Papyrus. It's also hinted that Sans is following and watching you throughout the game, like when he's ahead of you at the Sentry posts. Or during Shryen's concert/audition, a hooded figure is watching, presumably Sans or MAYBE the Riverperson, but I figured they'd be described as a cloaked figure. So the idea of him following/watching Frisk as they spared every monster but Papyrus makes sense.
I mean Sans would presumably be livid, you spared the mercenaries hired to kill you in the Core (Madjick, Knight Knight etc), Muffet who tried to kill you for money, Mettaton who wanted to kill you and be a star on the surface, Undyne who actively tried to kill you for your SOUL, potentially the optional bosses Glyde and So Sorry. Hell you even spared Jerry...JERRY!

There is one thing you are forgetting about Sans, the only reason you'd be dead where you stand. Remember he made a promised to a funny and nice person at the ruins entrance to not kill any humans, this is obliviously something he keeps and only breaks it if he has too in genocide he has to break it.
Also everyone probably ditch Jerry in the pacifist ending, seeing he's not in the creadits.
