Ash and Serena were walking down a path to Lumiose City to meet one of Ash's old friends, Misty, just like other friends she was a gym leader that traveled with ash in his first journey. Speaking of other hym leaders, their other friend Clemont had to stay at his gym as the leader due to making some heavy updates on Clembot and his younger sister Bonnie was attending the summer camp that Ash and Serena were too busy to attend, she at least was allowed to bring her friend Dedena.

Ash had Pikachu on his shoulder as they walked though the pathway. Serena smiles at her friend. "So have you stayed in contact with Misty? She does seem kinda cool with some of the stories you talked about. I hope she isn't as angry though." Serena said with a giggle, wanting to meet the redhead despite a small feeling of dread that there may be something that either have for each other... But she's going to try t be friendly as usual.

The three didn't notice the black Pokemon watching them, they had been abandon by their own trainer so they wanted to see if they can surprise this new bunch and take what they got.

(Sorry for the late reply. Was unsure of what to say for a while. Also sort of forgetting here, but who's playing this pokemon and is it going to attack them immediately?)

"It's kind of been weird. I try to call when I'm able but given that we're constantly moving, it's problematic to say the least." He sighed and looked around for any signs of wild pokemon. "Ya think there's anything interesting to catch around here? I'd guess there'd probably be some kind of bug type in this section of the woods.. possibly a grass type? I dunno. Just wish something would pop out for me to fight already."

(I'm playing the Pokemon... Although you want to play Pikachu too?)

"Hmm maybe they're doing a better job at hiding?" Serena suggests. She knew some Pokemon didn't want to be found.

The goth decided it was a good time and launched and launched an energy ball at Serena's feet. Causing her to scream as she is thrown to the other grassy end.

"AHHHHHHH!" She yells till she lands. "I think I found one..." She said with pain and outs up her arm to point to the Gothorita.

Ash let out a grin as he spotted the hiding spot in question. "Alright than! Let's go! Pikachu, I choose you!"
As commanded, the legendary little rodent lept off his trainer's shoulder and raced off towards the bush, launching a thunderbolt at it to make sure that it couldn't try to run away. He was sure this would be easy. He'd smelt this kind of Pokemon time and time again. It'd probably just take a hit or two. Dark types weren't exactly known for their resitance to electric attack to be sure.

(Thanks, also the goth line isn't dark type at all, only psychic, odd I know.)

The gothorita groans as she takes the attack, she grants as she gets back up. Then she uses confuse Ray on Pikachu, followed by psychic and hitting them against a tree.

Serena had recovered and was watching a match. "She's pretty strong but she can't beat you or Pikachu!" Serena cheers them on.

(oh shoot shoot shoot. I am so sorry about the extra long wait. I got distracted at first but then got dragged away by work. Ugh.)

Ash let out a frsutrated growl worthy of an Arcanine (or at least a really really pissed off skitty). "Come on Pikachu, get up and give it a thunderbolt!"
Though confused, Pikachu was able to hear the command and obliged. Unfortunately it's aim seemed to be rather off, as Ash and Serena got blasted instead.
Although mostly used to it by this point, Ash still tended to get rather delerious himself after getting a good dose of Pikachu's mighty lightning, and of course tended to say raather ridiculous things. "But mommy, i don't wanna go to school today, my dressy's all dirty." He wobbled around before falling flat on his face.

(It's ok, it happens but I do hope we can try to do this more often. Although I guess not after today seeing I'm going on vaction till Monday so take your time and we can see if we can resume that day, ok? Hope I don't seem to forceful with decideing a time for us to start. Oh and don't forget Ash catches her, we may need to go over our plan later.)

Serena was hit pretty badly too, she tried to stay standing... "No mommy, don't make me ride the Ryhorn again, it's always wet after I'm done everytime." Too bad that didn't last long as she falls on her back, legs come up then fall.

The goth Pokemon smiles in accomplishment, beliving they got it pretty lucky. They just needed to take care of the Pikachu but even she can tell he's pretty strong. So she decides to jump away and use energy ball towards it!

Thankfully for Pikachu, he'd built up a bit of a resistance to being confused by this point and was able to shake off the effects soon enough and was able to deflect the little pokemon's energy ball right back at it with a well placed iron tail, quickly knocking it right out and giving ash just enough time to throw a ball, since even unconscious, Ash's obsession with catching Pokemon seemed to be ever vigilant and a bit disturbing in a sense.

The gothorita didn't expect it to be thrown right back at her, her eyes widen as the Pikachu hits it back with iron tail, and what's worst, just like a hitting a ball hard with a bat in base ball, Pikachu had made a stronger blow and harmed her harder with it. She fell on the ground and hardly felt like getting up. The trainer throw the ball at her and she was too weak to resist being caught.

"Oh is that the timer going off? Is it time for cookies?" Serena asks in her dreams as she hears the ball click.

Soon enough after the two trainers were over their electrocution, Ash began admiring his brand new partner. "Ah man this is so cool. I don't think I've ever caught something quite like this before!" He grinned as the two began on their path again. "I say we go to the pokemon center and get a quick rest so I can began trainign this beauty as soon as possible. Mist'll love to see it."
