I'm sorry to hear that you have
Agoraphobia. Your WiFi must be more of a "Life line" for you than just a source of entertainment and information. I found an interesting article about a shut in that you might like to read ->

Hmm... The fact that the problem occurred in two different websites leads me to believe that the cause is most likely on your end.
If it is a problem with the WiFi signal strength of your tablet PC, then there are two hardware options and one software option for you to try out.
The hardware options are:
1) If you are having a problem with the WiFi reception in your house, then you can buy a WiFi Range Extender online for as little as $19.99 (MEI Micro Center has one physical store location in your state. If you feel up to it, you can visit it) ->
http://www.microcenter.com/search/se...ortby=pricelow. A WiFi Range Extender repeats the signal traffic between your router and your WiFi device, so that you can move about further distances away from your router (Up to a certain limit).
2) If you are "Sharing" your neighbor's unprotected WiFi (Everyone in my apartment building has WPA2-PSK protection enabled in their router, including myself, so you'd be SOL if you lived in my building!) then you can buy a USB 2.0 WiFi adapter with an external, directional antenna online for as little as $12.17 (You'd have to disable your tablet PC's built-in WiFi chip) ->
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dual-Band-2-...EAAOSwkl5Xdg8G. The external antenna allows you to receive/transmit WiFi signals better than a WiFi adapter/built in chip that has an internal antenna, since you can adjust the path of the signal stream.
The software option is to try a "Signal Booster" app/application. I haven't tried any of those, so I don't know if they'd really work for you. But at the cost of around $0.00 (Some of them are freeware while others are shareware), it might be worth a shot ->
http://download.cnet.com/s/signal-booster/ I would recommend that you scan those apps/applications with MalwareBytes Anti-Malware (Free version) ->
https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/ before installing them. If you don't already have MalwareBytes Anti-Malware installed, you can download it, install it, download the signal booster app/application's setup or installation file, go into Windows Explorer, right click on the setup or installation file for the signal booster app/application and then click on the "Scan with MalwareBytes Anti-Malware" option.
I hope that this helps you!
