It was just an ordinary day in most parts of the world. You know, the parts not full of screams of terror and pain while fire burned in the background. War never changes, as they say. But for the parts that are in a war, things are always changing a whole lot.

We have something a little special here that also isn't so special. On the side walk in front of a simple house stood a blue-jay wearing a gray hoodie along with some simple black jeans. She wore no shoes as she didn't want her claws to tear through them and make her have to buy a new pair and her hands sat in her pockets. There was a lollipop in her mouth that she gently sucked away on as she stood there. With her size, which looked to be around five feet and seven inches, a lot of people may mistake her for a sassy teen, but she was actually older than she looked.

This was Cee, a female blue jay that had quite a career in gaming. While she wasn't a big popular person, she had played tons of games, reviewed some and at one point, she even worked on one. While that game was still being worked on and such, her somewhat more personal and less work life involved her basically meeting people. Not as in going to gamer conventions or out in the park and saying "Hi, by name is-" but it was more of her meeting people online.

The person's house she stood in front of belonged to someone she had been friends with for quite a while. They spoke to each other, got to know each other a bit and they've been friends online for years. It was only recently that they finally got around to actually coming to one another's houses. Only thing was that Cee was heading to his house first before they stepped anywhere near hers. While they've seen each others faces and knew things about each other that was personal, Cee still had a secret or two to hold and she didn't trust this guy one hundred percent.

However, the girl decided to suck up her fears with the sweet taste of the strawberry lollipop in her mouth and go ahead and ring the door bell and wait patiently. Her heart was racing as this was something she never had done before in her life, ever, so here's to hoping it goes well.

It was late morning, and young Tamia Goldmane was still getting moving. He was a raccoon, and he had just finished getting dressed. Namely into a pair of brown shorts, a green t-shirt, and his glasses. Underneath all that however, he had a thin pull-up. You see, when Tamia was young he got involved in a car accident that tore his bladder muscles, rendering him completely unable to hold in his pee at all. Rather than wear a catheter, he simply wore pull-ups twenty-four 7. He didn't mind it too much, you see Tamia had a bit of a diaper fetish, and when he wasn't expecting anyone, or he was about to play a video game for a long period of time, he was typically pampered up, nice and tightly.

He was now however in a pull-up, because he was expecting a good friend of his to come over soon to try out the multi-player functionality of a new video game for her to review and for him to write about online. Tamia worked mostly in the industry of online marketing for video games. Several companies hired him to design advertisements and banners promoting a new product to ensure that it gets seen by everyone online. Tamia didn't mind it, he actually enjoyed seeing the art and getting a heads up on what was to come. Smiling, he began to whistle as he set the early release game up.

It was a special kind of video game, one that required you to get up and move around. It came with two headsets that went over your eyes and took you into a virtual world. Once inside, you could pretty much do anything you wanted. You could live a fantasy life, you could build a house, or you could have a sword fight with a friend. Tamia had already explored many of the single player features and he was rather excited to try out some of the multi-player aspects that the game had been designed around.

After plugging everything in and calibrating the headsets, he heard a knock at the door. Smiling, he began to head over to it, looking through the peephole and spotting his cute little jay friend. Opening the door, he said, "Hey Cee, hows it going? You ready to try the newest 3D virtual reality game not yet on the market?"

Cee was just finishing up her lollipop as Tamia came up to the door and opened it. Taking a moment to take the paper stick out of her mouth, she smiled lightly. "My day is going just fine. As a matter of fact, coming over to your place was the first thing I did and am doing this morning." Then she decided to go ahead and stepped in, not exactly waiting for him to welcome her in. "And you can bet I'm ready, as always." Then she looked to him, "Is there anything I should know about it before I start testing it other than the warnings about motion sickness?"

"Hmmmm," He said uncertain, thinking it over as he began to motion her towards the set up in the living/game room. "Yes and no. The virtual reality is rather intense. If you use it for long periods of time, you might end up with ache. Its also easy to become so focused on your virtual body that you ignore your real body. A few guys ended up wetting themselves because they got so absorbed," He said with a smile. "Anyway, there are a varity of games we can try. There's a house/fortress system that lets you design a house, then explore it. You have so many options to play with," He explained, before taking the helmet. "Anyway, it'll be easier to explain when we go under. Sit down on the couch, and I'll show you how to put it on."

Cee followed him into the living room before looking to the couch and going ahead and sitting on it after she was told to do so. Then she said, "Hm... It may be a good idea to have something that points out that taking a break may be a good idea." Cee wasn't exactly too big on playing the game and then suddenly pissing her pants all because she didn't focus on reality that was actually there. Well... Not in front of other people anyway.

"How good is this game as whole? You know, story, A.I., collision and so on. I know it's probably in its alpha stages, but it'd be nice to know how the progress is coming along." She said.

"It seems like its going well. It doesn't have much of a story since the point is for you to design your own, but the graphics are amazing, and the A.I. of the people you can meet in it is astonishing," He said with a smile. "Anyway, you just put the helmet it on, and open your eyes," He said with a smile, slipping his own helmet on, covering his eyes with it. He then opened them and turned it on.

In the virtual world, you play as an avatar. Tamia's avatar was that of a monkey. Smiling, he waited for Cee to come in, knowing that she would first need to design her own avatar.

Cee nodded lightly. While it did sound great, she had heard this sort of talk before. Game developers trying to make their game sound great before she could play it just so that she wouldn't be too harsh on them with the review. Sadly, she had to give people the truth through her eyes, so that didn't always work. Nonetheless, she grabbed the spare virtual reality headset and went ahead and put it on her head. After thinking it was on, she opened her eyes and smiled.

"This is pretty neat." She said with a smile as she began to make an avatar. "Also, if the whole issue with bladder control is going to be a thing, maybe a playing mat would be a good idea to have."

"Maybe," He said unsure. "I dunno, I didn't make it. They just sent it to me to study so that I could make ads and properly advertise it. Anyway, yeah, you can make your body in this game look like anything you want. Me, I chose to be a happy green monkey. You can do whatever you want though," He encouraged, waiting for her to appear in front of her in the virtual world.

"Well, since that I'm a bird and I'm used to being a bird and all, I think I'll just choose a bird." She said with a smile as she went ahead and selected her character's species and added things here and there. Eventually, she spawned in as a slender, male secretary bird character who wore a scarf, a simple black tunic brown trousers that went down to his thin legs.

She looked down at herself and smiled. "Yeah, this is pretty cool..." Then she looked to Tamia's monkey character, who wasn't too far away since they were both playing in the same area. "So mind showing me around a little bit?" She asked.

Tamia smiled and grinned. He made quick work of running over towards her. He did this by moving his legs quickly in real life. He then smirked and jumped onto her shoulder before saying, "Ok, just move your legs around in order to walk. Then I'll show you some of the features this game has." In real life, she would feel a strange pressure on her shoulder, despite nothing actually being there.
