Brother's Clock
20 year old Matt had dropped out of college early freshman year, when he realized he couldn't take care of his little brother and go to school at the same time. To be fair, the only reason he'd gone to college in the first place was that he hoped he'd be able to make more money to help support his brother and himself better. He was 6ft 1, about 200lbs. He was a big guy, as in he stayed in shape and lifted weights. He had a job in construction, so he needed to be built well. He was very handsome as well, with light brown, almost dirty blonde hair.
He woke up fairly early, deciding to get breakfast made for his little brother. He hummed to himself as he started making pancakes. Soon after, while the pancakes lay cooking on the griddle, he walked down the hallway into his little brother's room. He walked over gave the kid a playful smack on the rear. "Up and at em kiddo." He said with a grin

14 year old Cody let out a grown and wished his brother would let him be. He had stayed up all night playing games and just wanted to sleep in. Sure his brother worked hard to provide for him, but that didn't mean he was okay with being told when to get up.
He curled under the covers and fell instantly back to sleep ignoring his brother. He was much smaller than his brother and kinda envied that. He still seemed like a little kid and he was angry that his brother seemed to treat him as such.

Matt rolled his eyes. "Cmon buddy, I let you sleep in. It's almost 10:30." He informed him. Of course he remembered what it was like being a teenager. He was the exact same way. But that didn't mean it was right. Matt smiled and sat down on the bed, sitting on top of Cody's legs in an attempt to get him up. "Let's go kid, I made breakfast and everything." He said with a laugh, bouncing up and down a little to cause a bit more doscomfort and hopefully get the kid out of bed.

Cody- Fine I'll get up. Jerk...
Cody rolls over and turns on his TV and game console.
Cody- Just bring it in here. I got to get to the next level today.

Matt rolled his eyes. "Come on kid, you got all day to play this. Pancakes aren't going to stay hot all day." He reminded him. His brother was a freshman in high school, an definitely left a lot to be desired in the social skills department. Funnily enough, they looked very similar. Cody was essentially just a younger, smaller version of Matt (in physical apperance), yet they were different personality wise. "I'll drag you into the kitchen if I have to." He threatened jokingly, although he was serious in that he would do it

Cody tosses the covers off and reluctantly heads downstairs. He pouts like a little kid that had his toys taken away.

"That attitude really suits your facial expression." Matt teased him, clapping his kid brother on the shoulder. "Cmon, lighten up kid. You've got nothing to be moody about." He said. Although he knew fully well Cody was at "that age", where boys often needed to be excused for moodiness, and it could often be stressful with all the hormones and changes happening.

Cody- I just wanted to sleep more and play game before I meet some friends later. We are gonna go pick up some trash around the community and maybe help some of the local elderly. Can't I sleep in and relax before going to do some public good brother?
Cody's phone started to ring and he picked it out of his pocket. He accidentally pressed the speaker button.
Phone - Yo boy! It's Tim. You still up for sneaking into that R rated pic later? Gonna be mad tits on that screen.

Matt didn't really get a chance to say much. He just raised an eyebrow and shook his head as he listened. "It scares me to think you're my brother, because I know I wasn't this stupid at your age." He sighed. "And no you can't go anywhere, because you lied to me. You know the punishment for lying." Matt said, as he began to walk over to a large grandfather clock in the living room. "What'll it be Cody?" He asked

Cody - No way bro. Tim was just messing around. We wouldn't do anything like that. You can't take him serious about that kinda stuff.
Cody gave a nervous laugh.
Cody - Come on let's just eat breakfast. It's all fine.
