Clubbing and Cubbing (Private)

I was once a normal girl. I had a good life but something change me. One day I was in my mother garden when I was six I saw some of the plants died when I got close to them and touch them they came back to life and I smiled at that. A few year later when I turn 12 I was on a class trip I was fallowing my class but when I look around I saw a bird attacking a turtle. I wanted to throw a rock but didn't want to be seen but suddenly the rock floats and went flying hard at the bird and knock it down. Thought it was cool I got two powers. All I had in my life was my mom. My dad left when he heard my mother had me. I was 17. Brown hair and blue eyes. Wearing a long sleeve shirt blue jeans and brown cowgirl boots. I was walking down town and went into a club called the X. I went in and saw not anything new. I went over to table in the far back with just a glass of water. And didn't have any friends. And I was babied by my mother. I know that she dose it to hide the pain and hope I never leave her.

Beast would rather be back at the mansion and studying or working out in the danger room. He wasn't really the sort of fellow to go to a club or dancing... even if the other teenaged X-Men had a fondness for it. Especially since given his blue-furred bestial appearance did get a bit of double-takes, weird looks, and hostility. The other X-Teens were all either dancing, hanging out with new people they met, or already took off to go hang out with new friends.

Hank leaned against the bar... not exactly dressed like the coolest fellow. He was wearing black cargo shorts with a wallet chin and a rather loud Hawaiian shirt that was orange and blue and featured hibiscus flowers. Hank exhaled softly and finished his Pepsi and pushed away from the bar and getting ready to leave. That's when Hank spotted the rather lonely looking girl at the back table.

Hank glanced between the exit to the club and the girl sitting alone. And then his shoulders slumped a little and he made his way over to where she was sitting after ordering himself another Pepsi and one for her. Hank slipped through the crowd and approached the table... clearing his throat a bit. "Hello, I think the bartender screwed up... wait no, would you consider him a bartender? Maybe soda jerk would be more appropriate though not era appropriate." Hank nervously cleared his throat and smiled, trying not to show off the fanged canines. "Pepsi?"

Sarah look up and saw him and thought he just look normal at first and offered her a drink. "Um sure" she takes the glass. "The seat open" Sarah offered him a seat.

Hank slid the chair out from the table and sat down upon being invited to join her, offering a light sigh as he did so. "Thank you. I'm Hank... Hank McCoy." Hank offered his hand to her as he looked around the club a bit. "I know it's kind of a cliche, but do you come here often?" Hank wonders as he hadn't seen her around here before. Not that he was a regular. This wasn't really his sort of place.

"Sarah hail" she takes her hand out and shakes his. "Um no I have never been here before" she takes a few sips of the Pepsi.

"Pleasure to meet you, Sarah." Hank offered a warm smile after they finished shaking hands, his hand covered with rather soft fur. "You seem pretty comfortable with a guy who looks like Cookie Monster sitting across from you." Hank jokes softly as sipped his own Pepsi. "I have a few times... my friends like dragging me here. I just think so I'll feel included. I'd rather be relaxing at home."

You just look like a person who is looking a place in the world and seems like you did." "I don't know about for how I could be useful." She finished her Pepsi.

"That's kind of deep. I approve of such wisdom." Hank rolls his shoulders just a bit and sipped his Pepsi and his brows went up at how fast she finished her Pepsi. "We're young. It doesn't hurt to not have your whole life figured out yet." Hank noted, though he had his mostly planned out. "You seem thirsty... you want another?"

No thanks but I should get home before my mom get worried." She get up and leaves but stop in her tracks. And walk back to Hank. "You want to walk me home"

Hank frowned a bit as the first person he makes an effort to talk to seems to blow him off after a short time. Though he does perk up when she turns back to ask about an escort home. Taking her his hand as he gets up to the table. "It is the gentlemanly thing to do. And not like I'm having any fun here." Hank gestured for her to lead the way so they could walk and talk. "Nobody will miss me anyway."
