It is that time of year again, The World Inkling Invitational is coming up in just a matter of weeks and everyone is deep into training so they can can get a spot. But as everyone went through the motions to try and earn a spot, a brand new team came out of nowhere to start making a name for themselves. The 4 person team of Team Olympus is on a 30 game winning streak in Turf War and the only match they lost recently was a very unlucky sudden death match in Tower Control. Everyone on this team is beyond exceptional but one squid stays on top.

Squishy is the team leader and the current top ranked Zapper user in Inkopolis, her courage and natural talent made her a born leader. Dressed in her typical Splat Gear, a color changing pullover hoodie with the Squid Sisters logo on it, black compression shorts, a spiked wristband and a color changing beanie put tightly on her head.

It was late at night and Squishy was performing her nightly workout, running along the back alleys of Inkopolis with her giant headphones with the Squid Sisters on blast. Due to this, she would be blissfully unaware if anyone tried to sneak up on her.

An octoling girl was watching from one of the rooftops and wasn’t going to fire but she charged up a shot, she was part of team Sygnus which was on the rise in the octoling splatfest, and now they were on the top of their game. She was decked out in the latest splatfest gear, and her weapon of a choice was a charger sniper rifle, she was happy to see the inklings so ignorant of her presence, but she left her mark on the arenas she fought in. “Bring it on squid girl” she says as she took aim but didn’t fire as she wanted to see what her new opponent had to show off in her defense.

Squishy unfortunately had her music blasting so loud that she didn’t hear anyone on the roof behind her charging her shot, sing to the lyrics softly as she jogged. It wouldn’t be until on of her shoes untied that she bent down on one knee and began tying it.

Dak watched her target carefully and weighed her options, “to shoot or not to shoot, an inkling against an octoling, me and you, you know I don’t want to add you to my count, but I need you out of the way” she says as she fires.

As Squishy was standing up to resume her jog, the shot hit her right in the back. She let out a squeal of pain as she fell forward onto her stomach before blacking out instantly.

Dak stood up and walked over to the inkling “nothing personal, you’re really good, but we needed you out of the way until the turf was secure by Cygnus” she says shouldering her rifle and scooping up the downed inkling and taking her to a large apartment where she could be looked after.

Dak had her old splatfest gear and uniforms on a number of mannequins, including some of her best weapons, as well as numerous trophies and awards, she was also a fan of numerous dramas and tv shows. But above all, hung the scents of wild flowers and fruits, to cover up the scents of baby powder that would have been present as when she was home, Dak wore only a decepticon t-shirt and diapers for teens.

Squishy moaned as she started to open her eyes, wincing as she held her head in pain. She couldn’t find the strength to stand but she glanced around the room in shock “w-what?”

Dak had just gotten her changing supplies out along with a diaper for her guest, “hiya, sorry bout the whole you getting shot part, but someone wants you out of their way, I have no clue why, so don’t ask” she says as she strips and then diapers her new guest,. “you can call me Dak, and yes, I’m an octoling, and no, I’m not going to harm you, even though I already did, but that doesn’t count does it? If so, let me say I’m really sorry” she says.
