LiS - Max's Failed Attempt

Max hated the way Victoria teased and bullied Kate! It wasn't fair! What had Kate ever done? Max scowled as she tried her best not to go yell at Victoria for making Kate cry again.

She and everyone else could hear Kate sobbing.

Max huffed she was going to get back at Victoria somehow! With Chole's help she had various supplies of nappies, baby bottles, pacis and even a few cuddly toys that she now planned to place in Victoria's room.

She had reassured her best friend that she would be okay doing it herself and she didn't want Chole getting into anymore trouble with her new 'dad' she still couldn't believe Joyce liked that guy at all. He was a creep! At least he didn't give her a sick feeling like Jefferson does.

Max sighed. Victoria's stupid club was having a party and hopefully it was still going on.

Max with a bag filled with baby items looked around carefully before going down the hall. Not many people were out and about which meant she was okay...

No one would see her...

She would get in Victoria's room and back out quickly with pictures.

She would....

Thud.

Max fell on the floor. She should of looked more closely as to where she was going, "S-sorry." stammered Max looking up at the person she had bumped into by accident only to see Victoria.

What was she doing back so soon?

Unfortunately for Max the items in the bags were now on the floor visible for all to see but thankfully it was just her and Victoria. Nervous Max quickly tried to rewind time but nothing worked. Why was this happening? Max groaned a little and started to try and hide the items as best as she could by picking everything up as quick as she could. Hopefully Victoria wouldn't look or stare at the items for too long to figure out what she had at all and more importantly that the diapers, toys and pacis could easily be used on a college-aged girl like herself.

Victoria has left the party early because she was bored with all the drama. She sighed as someone walked into her and they fell over. She glared down at the small brunette “max” she said annoyed

What was max doing up anyway weren’t dorks like her ussually in bed by now?

She looked at the package on the floor and the large binky and toys.... was max pregnant? For some reason that idea really ticked her off. She glared with a cruel smirk till the girl picked the binky up and she noticed how big it was.

She was a bit baffled for a second.

And then she noticed the fact the diapers weren’t for babies. She giggled and then started laughing as she walked away from the girl. “See ya baby max I don’t think I need to tell you how this looks” she laughed closing the door to her room behind her. It clicked loudly as it locked.

Victoria went to her bed to rest for the night her amusement through the room as she texted people about what she saw. She just giggled as she knew Max’s life was about to get a hell of a lot tougher in general.

Max watched Victoria's expression closely feeling a little anxious as she did her best to pack everything up and away into the bag.

Victoria glaring was nothing new and Max found herself feeling pretty immune to Victoria's glare, "You know your face will get stuck like that." joked Max slightly trying to distract Victoria only to frown at Victoria upon seeing the rich girl pick up the binky.

Hearing Victoria giggle was...not normal, "It isn't what you think!" stammered Max only to hear Victoria laugh causing Max to blush brightly, "damn it." swore Max as Victoria left her alone.

After a few more minutes Max returned to her room wondering what the fuck she was going to do now?

Grabbing her phone she quickly sends a text to Chole:

*The plan fucked up big time Victoria bumped into me in the halls and the stuff fell everywhere. My powers didn't do anything and I don't know how much of a bitch she's going to be about this. She thinks that the baby stuff belongs to me now and I'm not sure what to do at all? Any ideas?*

Max sent her message and sighed as she went to sleep.

Waking up Max yawned loudly. No nightmare? That was new. Max grabbed her phone and frowned a little Chole had yet to get back to her but there was a text from Warren telling her that Victoria was spreading a nasty rumor about her and asking if that was true.

Hopefully today wasn't going to be bad....

Max changed into a shirt and jeans before heading to photography class. She could hear people and suddenly Max felt a little scared but at least no one had said anything to her yet?

Max sat down near the window in Jefferson's class glad that Nathan wasn't here yet at all knowing that he was likely to say something to her.

Chloe giggled when she read the text and replied “well guess you’ll have to weather this disaster on your own” she giggled “you’re kind of screwed”


Victoria made it too the class first and sat across the room from max. Knowing she didn’t need to say or do anything.... Nathan on the other hand had different plans.

He sat next to max and gave her one of his bullying smirks. “Hey wil max I heard what happened the other day” he mocked “I knew you were always weird but I didn’t know you were an actual freak” he said getting some giggles from around the room.

Whispers about whether max was wearing a diaper now or how weird she was we’re all around the room.

Jefferson coughed breaking up the talking. “Yes.. now let’s get to work. Max I trust you have your submission ready?” He asked knowing full well the girl didn’t he just liked making her squirm.

The class laughed at her expense again. Clearly max had somehow gone even further down the social ladder

Max was surprised by Victoria.

She had expected the rich blonde to have said something and yet nothing? At least that meant she didn't have to deal with Victoria's bullshit for now.

Max glanced at Nathan and already knew that trouble was about to start.

Glaring at Nathan she was about to say something back until Jefferson coughed causing things to become more quiet.

Max blushed a little and leaned back in her chair feeling slightly humiliated, "I'm working on it." she replied wondering what she could do? She could hear the class laughing at her normally she didn't get laughed at this much.

It was about half-way through class when her phone beeped a little.

Max seeing Chloe's text frowned a little and quickly replied.

*I guess. Got any ideas on what to do?*

Max sent the message and quickly put her phone away not wanting anyone to call her out again. She needed to think and she needed to do something to sort this shit out before it got out of hand but at least no one was focused on Kate....

Then again Kate wasn't here at all.

Victoria grinned as she heard the gossip and teasing Max was getting it was rather nice to see the girl squirm do to her blunder. She sighed she got up and handed in her photo. “Don’t worry lil Maxie just needs extra time” she smirked as more people giggled at the poor girl’s expense.

Mr. Jefferson sighed and his eyes focused on max “well I certainly hope she finishes on time” he said bringing attention back to himself “has anyone seen Kate today?” He asked curiously.

No one seemed to remember where she was. And he gave another sigh as he began teaching the class as normal.

Chloe replies “lol nope I’ve gotta say I’ve never been in this situation” she sent with a shrugging emoji.

Max glared at Victoria harshly and scowled becoming a little more upset by the teasing but she could handle it!

It wasn't that bad really....

Max ignored Jefferson choosing to take a photo of the sun with her camera instead as her phone bleeped again.

Max starts texting again.

*Lucky you. Doing anything today? I'd rather not stick around in school for long right now but I might check to see if Kate is alright."

Max sent the text and put her phone down again.

She wished the clock would move faster than it already was doing.

"Isn't that a bit high-tec for you?" snickered Nathan glancing at Max's phone.

"I'm surprise you even know what a phone is with how dumb you are." snapped Max back at Nathan who just laughed in return.

Chloe replied “ no but step douche won’t let me leave.” She apologized. “He’s being extra crazy today.”

Jefferson sighed as he taught. It was rainy and cold out when they heard someone run by the classroom “Kate’s gonna jump” the teenager soured as a crowd poured out of the school. Kate was up on the roof looking miserable as usual and it shocked everyone.

*That's alright I'll see if I can sneak in or something later on.* Max paused her texting, *Kate just ran pass the class I'm going see what's going on*

Max sent the text before getting up and running out of the room leaving her camera, school bag and other things behind.

She could see Kate on the roof.

The rain was coming down hard and Max was soaked. Her clothes were sticking to her and her hair was drenched. She couldn't believe this!

Max used her powers a little but she felt weak after using them as she moved towards the dorms bumping through and passed the crowd as she did.

She needed to stop Kate.

"KATE!" shouted Max almost out of breath as made it to the top, "You don't have to do this!"

"You can't stop me Max." replied Kate stubbornly moving a little closer to the roof.

Max breathed in heavily, "P-please Kate just take my hand," begged Max, "please."

After a couple of more minutes of talking Kate eventually came down from the slight ledge. Max hugged Kate tightly tears streaming down her face, "Come on let's go back to dorms." said Max holding Kate's hand and shivering violently cause of the rain that was now soaking through clothes and making her feel very cold.

Everyone saw what the girl did and after the incident aNd a brief chat with the principal and mister Jefferson max was sent back to her room.

Chloe texted max concerned “what happened?!?!?” The blue haired girl asked




Victoria was in her dorm room trying not to feel guilty about what happened to Kate. She sighed getting her things ready to take a nice long shower to clear her head. She went to the bathroom and spent almost a whole hour under the hot water just thinking.

She climbed out and got dress feeling a bit better and at least a bit refreshed. She took a deep breath and admired herself in the mirror for a minute.
