Jubilee wasn't sure how she should feel about this recent boon in seemingly Nostalgia driven entertainment … After all she likes new and interesting Stories but she can't deny a fondness for the stuff before and during her age … So not seemingly like she is older then she is is nice... Able to share the reboots and classics now way easier … Unaware she is going to be one of the few to be a adult figure soon do to strangeness going on .

''Hank? You wanna take a break? Maybe watch some tv I'm sure you'll find something you and the X-kids both will enjoy now'' Jubilee was trying to Draw Hank out of his lab wanting Hank to get out of it atleast for a little while

Beast wasn't super big on the various nostalgic properties that he was aware of as of yet... since he didn't watch a lot of TV as a child. But soon enough he'd be encountering a property that spoke to a special place in his heart. Hank was working in the lab when Jubilee came calling and considered telling her that he was too busy. Though he eyed the look on Jubilee's face and gave in rather than put up a fuss and have to deal with Jubilee getting her way anyway. "Sure... I could use a break."

Hank got up from the desk in his lab and took off his labcoat and hung it on the back of his chair. He was wearing some simple plaid fleece pajama pants at the moment... nothing too special. Hank made his way over to Jubilee and put a hand on her shoulder and smiled warmly at her. "Did you make snacks for the kids? Or do we have any Twinkies?" Hank wondered as he gestured for Jubilee to lead the way falling into step next to her and smiling warmly. "This nostalgia obsession is weird."

''Awesome you're too much of a rat of the lab'' of course by now Hank should get that's one of Jubilees references either that or slang speak from before she was with any team, whatever the matter the meaning is clear enough Hank spends too much time cooped up in the lab... Of course Jubilee do to this being in her off day herself was in some random well worn mixed matched Pajamas top themed after Rainbow brite and the bottems MLP themed she has had for ages … After all why should she care about getting anything almost new if not new? She never seen much a point given how often her home tends to get destroyed or attacked...


Regardless when asked about snacks and Twinkies she laughed''bought plenty of both Twinkies and varies snacks there was oddly a sale in town today and people was going crazy over sweets so I snagged all I could'' Of course odditys like that seems to be precursors to something bigger when noticing oddities that are small but Hank probably will think its some fad or something ..

''You're telling me... I mean cartoons and shows from way back getting reboots or remakes is one thing every once and awhile be sequels to the originals way back when? Yeah very weird and strange'' Jubilee remarked

Beast smiled wide when Jubilee noted that she remembered the snacks... giving her shoulder a warm loving squeeze. "I knew I liked you for a reason." Hank's fondness for Twinkies was probably one of the few things that were still childish about him. At least for the moment and his exposure to the reboot of pop culture. Hank looked over at Jubilee and took note of her jammies. "Wow.... did they dust off Rainbow Brite too?" Hank asked and adjusted Jubilee's pajama top just a little bit.

Beast opened his arms wide when he got to the playroom and accepted hugs from all the children. They were rather fond of Hank cause of his furry form... as he was like a big stuffed animal. Hank didn't seem to really have any concerns about the run on snacks and sweets... since he didn't do a lot of shopping for himself. "Heyya… kiddies." Hank sat down on the floor with them and soon had children all over him. "So what's on next? Did we miss Jubilee's favorites?" He asked with a chuckle.

''Oh yeah they did too PC though for my tastes'' Jubilee has made it no secret she isn't a fan of PC culture seeing how it can ruin things from people in charge having such a mindset and/or listening to the outrage mobs.. Thing is though at times she can't blame them for reworking somethings as even she'll admit afew things was about too as they say 'problematic' in stereotyping or looks that seemed to be lingering things from war era matters .

''No Jubes show comes later'' a random kid said ''Up now is a Johnny Quest movie'' Of course Jubilee seeing the title cringed the villain is to her a Asian looking stereotype from war times... She can easily over look it but it still makes her cringe abit at the thought someone had to make that look . Jubilee though piped in now'' And don't you run out on the Care bears after this Hank you like Sesame Streeet after all''

"Too PC... it's Rainbow Bright. How did they make it more PC?" Hank pffts just a bit and shakes his head at Jubilee... as he settles in with the kids in front of the TV. "Jubilee brought us all snacks. What do we say kids?" Hank smiled up at Jubilee from his spot on the floor as he got comfortable and hugged one of the kids sitting in his lap. He did enjoy spending time with the kids as they treated him like he was normal even with all the fur, fangs, and claws he was sporting in his current form.

"Johnny Quest?" Hank groaned. Never much cared for that one but he settled in anyway to watch the show with the kids. "Care Bears?" Hank asked... almost soothingly at the mention of them. "They brought them back?" Hank asked as he glanced between Jubilee and the TV. "I remember Care Bears. I even had one when I was a kid. Bedtime Bear. Couldn't sleep without him. Oh and Hugs and Tugs." Hank seemed to get more comfortable and settle in for the shows. "Wish I still had him."

''They managed it''Jubilee gave a short summery of the matter to Hank which basically amounted to making it have almost no conflict any anything remotely having the chance to be branded 'problematic' seemed to not be put in, she explained during a commercial break up till Hank brought up the snack matter and she laughed'' They thanked me already furball they wanted you to watch with them.. as much as I wanted you to get out of the lab ''

''Of course they have thankfully it seems to he so innocent they couldn't mess it up aside from that one grumpy bear they have .. Hes not really much of a grump anymore'' Jubilee offered but she suddenly was laughing at Hanks admittance to wishing he still had his carebear '' Oh how the mature have fallen but we can get you a bedtime bear now that they are bringing the toys back''

Hank perked a brow at Jubilee's explaination about Rainbow Bright and decided he regretted asking. "Well... things change." Hank shrugged his shoulders just a bit as he getured for Jubilee to sit down and join them watching the cartoons. "Well... I'm glad you're making sure they remember their manners." Though Jubilee could also tell that the kids loving him so much made Hank feel good that some people cared. "I know... I should get out of the lab more often. I just am bad about balancing things."

"Hey I'm still mature. It's called nostalgia... I'm just fondly recalling something I had as a child." Hank sheepishly offered as an excuse for his almost childish desire for a care bear plush. "Oh really? I may have to look next time I do get out of the mansion. It'd be nice to put up on my shelf with my degrees down in the lab." Hank looked up at the TV when a commercial for them came on and Jubilee could see how enraptured Hank was by the childish plush toys. "Wow... they really did bring them back."

''And that's where Big Sister Jubilee comes in to parent Hanks when he can't manage things'' Jubilee joked but was partially truthfully as she can get in Big sister mode with Hank easy enough when he gets too into work in general despite the matter at hand … Sure she normally just distracts him till he forgets about work but still

Jubilee cocked her head at Hank getting enraptured by the tv ad like how little kids do get enraptured by similar ads and she wondered what was up there as again like a little kid the almost spell like rapture was broke when the ad for carebaers ended …

Though one child that cares about Hand held out Bedtime bear and smiled'' Here Teddy'' the child said trying to have Hank take it

Beast rolled his eyes just a bit at Jubilee and sarcastically replied in a mocking copy of her own words. Earning a bit of a giggle from some of the children to see Hank acting kind of childish towards Jubilee. But they'd long had a strange dynamic like that and Hank didn't mean anything mean spirited by it. They just sort of playfully got under each other's skin at times. Especially when Jubilee seemed to act like she was the parent figure in their relationship despite being a great deal younger. Her natural big sister or motherly instincts would certainly likely come in rather handy once Hank started regressing.

Hank was smiling like an idiot when the ad ended, though Jubilee didn't seem to see what the big deal was. It was your typical corporate shilling of children's products flavored with nostalgia. Hank snapped out of it as the child came up to him and offered him a Bedtime Bear. "R-really?" He asked looking touched as he took the bear and felt how soft and soothing it was. "Thank you. But I... I can't just take your plushie. What do you want for it?" Though Hank was already hugging it and burying his nose into it. Discovering either it was softly scented or had picked up nursery scents.
