Cleopatra. One of the world’s most famous and well known women, ruler of Egypt, ally of Rome, lover of two emperors, the list goes on. In our modern world we know of her death by suicide, but that isn’t the real truth, for when time travel was invented, many people were wondering what interviews with various historical figures would bring. And among the many choices, when it came to women, Cleopatra was one of the first, and thus she was approached in her court by men from “the future” as she was told. However, even time cannot be stopped, she was told many things, and many pleas for her escape were voiced, and then, it happened, Rome’s fury was unleashed upon her country. Cleopatra made the decision then, to save her family by having them transported back to the future, and later herself, just days before she was known to die. Now she was married, well cared for, and her children were all in modern schools, she was asked many questions by teachers and professors, her knowledge of multiple languages came in very handy when artifacts were shown to her. But one trend she couldn’t get her mind around was the use of diapers, her daughter wore them as part of her popularity in school. And she herself was still on the fence about it.

At this particular moment, Cleopatra Selene, or just Selene, as she was referred, was walking home from school. She was humming along to a very popular song that she'd heard, and she was absolutely enjoying herself in the 21st century. Like her older brother, Ceasarion, her twin brother Helios Alexander (or just Alexander), and her younger brother, Ptolemy Philadelphos, she wore diapers at all times, and it particularly made her popular with the crowd at school. Everyone wanted to be like her. Today, she made her way inside, her diaper visibly sagging. "Mother, I'm home!"

Cleo as she likes to be called in this new world smiled “how was school?” She asked, “and you know the rules, homework first, television and cell phone second” she said. She returned to making dinner, “your father and brother should be home soon, so no snacking” she said firmly, she mentally rehearsed a lecture in her head as would be giving it the following day.

"I'm doing fine. My report card is good." She showed it to Cleo, confirming that she continued to be a straight-A student. "I also need a change rather badly." The foul smell and visible lumps and sagging in her diaper confirmed this. She had to chuckle a little as Cleo reacted before gathering all of the necessary supplies.

After changing her daughter Cleo got cleaned up and returned to cooking dinner, “homework young lady” she said to her daughter before she could get distracted, “you might have gotten my intellect, but you still need to show your work and do your homework, no exceptions or excuses” she says firmly once again.

Selene nodded and went over to her special desk area. She was quite happy to work hard to please her mother, it had always been part of their bond. By this point, Cleo's modern husband, Caleb, came in through the door with the boys. "We're home! How's my favorite queen?"

“How was the boys practice Darling? I hope it was t overly rough” she says as she finishes dinner for them, “homework first boys, then you go to whatever it is you do” she reminds them.

The boys nodded and made their way to do their homework. "It was quite fine, Cleo," Caleb stated, kissing her tenderly. "Caesarion's soccer skills are quite impressive, Alexander could really go places with the baseball team, and Ptolemy is a track star in the making." He embraced Cleo passionately. "And how about you?"

“I am doing fine, it’s good to hear the boys are doing great, besides, now that they are free of Royal duties and responsibilities they no longer have just a country to limit them” She says.

Caleb nodded and smiled as he snuggled with Cleo. "I'll go and tell the children that it's time for dinner." He then went to do exactly that, and they all gathered at the table.
