Critical Role: Clueless Caduceus's Discovery

[Diaper Beast]

The Mighty Nine were enjoying a bit of much needed downtime.... which of course included some shopping in the local marketplace and shops for some of them. Caduceus always enjoyed scouting out the local Marketplaces and Shops since he'd been alone so long. The strange people all around and the curious items for sale that he often didn't understand just fed his curiosity more. Plus given his innocent nature and dislike of alcohol it beat going to the taverns or looking for trouble like many of the other members seemed to enjoy engaging in during down time.

Caduceus was browsing one of the vendors when he came upon a strange package. He'd never seen anything like what the package contained before. Though he likely looked strange with his staff resting against the table and holding up the package of Diapers to his face to anyone else watching or came across him. Caduceus closed his eyes and inhaled deeply from the package, catching the flowery scent that only made him more intrigued. "Curious. Though perhaps a bit out of my price range." Caduceus was always so frustratingly frugal with his coins.

[Lord fluff]

Jester walked down the streets of Zsdsah. The rest of the group had broken off to do their own thing. She spotted Caduceus looking intently at something. She walked over to him. "Whatcha looking at Caduceus"she said in her usual cheery tone.

[Diaper Beast]

Caduceus was startled a bit by Jester as he was lost in the curious scent coming off the package. He looked towards Jester with a warm smile, always pleased to see the other Cleric of the party. She was such a curious individual, both innocent and mischievous.

"Hello Jester, browsing the market alone?" He wondered after looking around for the others. "This?" Caduceus asked as he indicated the package. "I'm not sure... though it's scent reminds me of the Wildmother. But perhaps a bit too costly for my curiosity."

[Lord fluff]

"Yep it's just me" she said happily. She looked down at what he was holding a look of confusion came over her face "um Caduceus why are you looking at diapers"

[Diaper Beast]

"Surprised that Fjord isn't lurking about... keeping an eye on you." Caduceus thought that the pair would be cute together... though secretly had a bit of a crush on Fjord himself. Though like in other matters tended to focus on trying to make others happy.

Jester was met with equal confusion from Caduceus as to her question. Not having any experience or frame of reference for 'Diapers'. "Huh? Die-Pears?" He asked, blinking his innocent eyes at Jester. At times his innocence was almost adorably childlike.

[Lord fluff]

"Fjords doing something with Beau" she said with a slightly annoyed tone. "Yeah diapers. You kown the things babies wear so when they go it doesn't go everywhere" She couldn't believe that some for such a large family didn't know what diapers were

Caduceus reached over and took Jester's hand... giving it a warm squeeze. "He'll come around sooner or later. Just don't let him get away... someone else may snap him up." Caduceus offered... doing his best to hide his own interest in Fjord from her.

Though Caduceus continued to look utterly lost at Jester, glancing between her and the strange package. "Doesn't ring a bell. Besides shouldn't parents keep a close eye on their babies if they don't want them to go anywhere?" Caduceus clearly misunderstood.

[Lord fluff]

"Not go like that' like go to the bathroom" she says and squeezed his hand back smiling at her friend comforting her,

Caduceus looked between Jester and the package in his free hand. "I guess that's new to me. But then I don't even wear underwear. Besides... these don't look to be very small in size." Caduceus noted as he gestured towards the strange package.

Indeed they seemed oddly sized for adults. Though Jester noted they were also clearly meant for girls from the designs on the package. "I am very intrigued by them. But do you want them?" Caduceus offered as he looked around for the one selling them.

[Lord fluff]

"Its weird take there this big" she says taking the package and looking it over "maybe it's for really big babies. I'm mean I kinda want it... as like a gag, not because I want diapers or something" she says blush.

There was a half elf sitting in the corner of the shop looking bored out of his mind staring off into space and drumming his fingers on a table. His long blond hair was thining and his pale skin said he didn't go out much.
