Mama Ignis ((For Milky-chan))

The sun shines bright in Insomnia. The streets was buzzing with people and vehicles of all shapes and sizes. In a suburb area of the city. There lived a spunky young man. Who may not look much on the outside was actually a member of the Crownsguard. His name is Prompto Argentum. Best friend of the crown prince Noctis.

Lately things have been...weird for the blond fellow. It started about a a month ago when he wakes up to a wet bed. He was so embarrassed. Luckily his parents were never home so he never had to explain it to them. They will never be the wiser. Sadly that was not the same for a certain advisor and friend to Noctis, Ignis. He easily caught on to it. First noticing it when he stayed over at Noct's apartment in the guest room. The raven hair prince was luckily at a royal meeting so he didn't witness it. He asked him if he was okay and he told him he was.

Time rolls by and more and more times he caught him wetting himself. To the point of dragging him to a doctor. Which they found nothing wrong with him. Which brought little relief to the gunner, but still can't figure out what's wrong.

Right now Prompto was fast asleep in a guest room at the palace. Noctis asked him to come over since he couldn't head back to his apartment for there were royal affairs he had to be a part of, but it's been awhile since they hanged out. He was giving a ride by Ignis and of course asked him about his 'issue'. Which he replies that it was over. Sadly that was a lie.

For he was laying in bed, not knowing that he had soaked not only his pants and underwear, but also the sheets and blankets of the bed.

Being a close firend and a advisor to the future king Igni's main concern was Noctis, but over the past few weeks Prompto had started becoming one of his concerns as well. What had started out as one embarssing nighttime misshap had quickly evloed into a tourbling trend. Leaving the maids and in some caes Ignis to clean up the mess left behind.

On the car ride of the place the blond's answer the question didn't clear much of Ignis's doubt that the issue had stopped all of the sudden, but he elected not to probe.

When night feel on the castle and Ignis was getting ready to retire to his own room, something was nagging in the back of his head. A feeling something wasn't quite right. It was most likely nothing but better to be sure. Taking a turn down the hall way Ignis went to the guest quarters to check on Prompto. He opened the door as quietly as he could and turned on a lamp, and even in the dim light the large dark puddle on the bed was obvious "It appears my intustion was correct...." he sighed deeply and went over to the bed and shook the blonde lightly "Prompto, wake up..."

Prompto softly groans in his sleep as he suddenly felt movement. His eye slowly opened and fluttered. It seemed the room was bright at first, making it hard to see. Sure enough his vision was clearing up and the first thing he sees was Ignis. "Mm, Iggy?" he softly grumbles in a sleepy tone. Rubbing his tired eyes and sits up. Which was a mistake.

Like someone cast Thundaga on him. He jolted awake, feeling a familiar sensation below the waist. Looking down he sees the wet stain and it was a pretty big one. It was one thing to wet cheap sheets like back home. It was another to do it at the palace. "I am so, so sorry!" he said in a panicked tone. Jumping out of bed. Showing the wet stain that went down pretty much to his knees. "I'll get you some new ones!" he tells him.

"Why is this happening?!" He asked, mostly thinking out loud. Trying to rip the sheets off the bed. Hoping that if he throws them in the wash now, they won't be forever stained.

‘The poor boy is going to trip and hurt him at this rate’ Ignis thought to himself in the brief few seconds he watch the blond go from sleepy and groggy to borderline panic. None the less it didn’t take very long for Ignis to step in with a hand on the other’s shoulder and firm and slightly parental “I’ll clean this up, you need a bath,”


In truth the advisor’s patients had been starting to ware thin when it came having to handle these accidents and it was about time he took care of the problem at its source.

He flinched a little when he felt Ignis' hand on his shoulder. Looking up at him as he tells him to take a bath instead. Which he nods his head. Having a sad look on his face and hanged his head in shame. Luckily for him he did pack some spare clothes in case something like this were to happen. He also grabbed a plastic bag to put said wet clothes into.

Prompto felt awful that that his friend was dealing with his mess. If it was the one time, sure he still feel bad, but he has lost count as to how many time this had happened. He walks into the guest bathroom and starts up the shower. Stripping himself of his soiled clothes and let the warm water wash away the urine. Scrubbing himself clean from his head to his toes.

Once that was done he dries himself off and got dressed into some fresh clothes. By the time he got out he was expecting his friend to drive him back to his empty house. Make up some excuse to Noctis why his friend had left. The blonde fellow take a deep but shaky breath before stepping out of the bathroom.

Seeing Prompto that frazzled and crestfallen did tug at Ignis’s hear a little bit, dealing with that couldn’t have been easy not to mention beyond embarrassing, but this had to stop before it got out of hand. Deep breath in, and out. For better or worse Ignis gotten quiet expedient at stripping down and redressing soiled beds, making quick work of the lines; the soggy set being pit out to be collected by maids in the morning and fresh set procured from a hallway closet.

While the blond was still showering off his shame the advisor made a quick stop by his personal room to retrieve bag he bought a few day prior. In was powder, wipes, cream, and of course a package of diapers.

When Prompto got out of the bathroom Ignis was waiting for him on the now cleaned bed, with bag sitting beside him.

He looks at Ignis as he stuffs the bag of wet clothes into his duffel bag. "Uh, thanks for taking care of that and...sorry." he softly spoke in shame. He then noticed the bag on the bag. "Uh, what's the bag for?" he asked in a curious tone. Maybe he needed to run some errands after he deals with him. "Can you tell Noct that something came up. Like maybe my parents suddenly came back into town? I know I am asking to much as it is." he said. Still thinking he was going to take him back home.

It was quite late at night and Ignis had a a feeling the blond would start to cry if he took him back home after that little slip-up. The poor thing has a long night as it was and despite his mild irritation Ignis didn’t want to make it much worse.


“No, I’m not taking you back to an empty home at this late hour,” Ignis replied with a sigh as he stood up from the bed “but before you go back to sleep insist we take some...precautions,” the maid already did enough without two extra loads of laundry to be done.

A part of him was relief that he was not taking him back to his place. It would of just made him feel worse. Though before he could go back to sleep however, there was something that needed to taken care of first. Noticing the bundle of soiled sheets int he corner, he nods his head. "Right. The bedding." he said. Thinking that's what Ignis meant.

Ignis shook his head no before gesturing for the still nearly naked blond to get on the bed “Not quite,” he explained “if you’re going sleep in the castle beds you’ll need to do so with some protection for your sake and the sake of the cleaning staff”

As he explained the advisor would cooly unloading the bag with what he would need to put Prompto in an a thick white diaper.
