Boruto was currently walking home from a long day of training with his team, drenched in sweat and his clothes caked in dirt and vibrant-green, grass stains. His team went on a mission that was close to Konoha's borders. It was supposed to be a simple C-rank mission where Boruto and his team had to protect a noble who was traveling from Konoha to Suna, where another team was waiting to pick up the noble to protect him in Suna. However, the mission violently turned south when Boruto and his team encountered a group of highly-trained bandits. While bandits could be dealt with easily, these bandits were significantly stronger, mainly because of their boss, who had a Bingo Book Entry of his own under the A-Rank Bandit Section.

Fighting them wasn't an option as the bandits easily outnumbered Boruto and his team, so they had to evade and rush to the rendezvous point, where the other team was waiting. They were able to make it to the sand team, and together they were able to make the bandits retreat, but not without some battle wounds and scars. As for now, Boruto wanted nothing more than to spend some time with his father and mother

Naruto himself had been hard at work in his office, being Hokage hadn't been all he had imagined it...

He wanted to be on more missions and fight! Not be pent up in some boring office and sign stuff that half the time didn't even make a difference!
"Ugh, there! Last piece of paper signed and done, maybe tonight I can finally get a decent meal from Hinata." He sighed as he stood up and began to leave his office, in quite the impatient and annoyed mood after dealing with so much boredom over the past few months of being Hokage.

Hinata was making a feast at home, which consisted of Ramen, rice, and a plethora of small fish dishes. However, she was not in the best of moods. She hadn't been able to talk to Naruto for days because of his job, or even get to embrace him as he would push her away for his Hokage Duties. So, not only was she going through some emotional problems, but she was also going through a physical problem. She was getting rid of Himawari's baby furniture and it wasn't an easy task to dismantle the furniture. While she would've loved to get some help, she could not. She could always make a clone, but she didn't think of that until she was almost done with taking apart the last few pieces of furniture.

Many things like the highchair and gates (To prevent babies from going downstairs or upstairs) were easy to either put away or dismantle. But things like the changing table and the crib proved to be more of challenge, and Hinata would always find herself inflicted with splinters or being cut by the screws that she would try and drill out. By the end, she had taken apart all the furniture, but she had also caused her body to become sore and aching.

And what the hell was she doing now?! Making dinner for a husband who probably wouldn't show up. At least the kids would be home.

Himawari was waiting for her older brother to come pick her up. She had been going to an aftercare program at the academy since her mother and father were always busy, and now that her brother was a ninja, she didn't have anyone that could watch her. Himawari was waiting on the playground when she saw her brother, battle scarred from his mission. She didn't say anything as she saw him sign her out of the aftercare program. She didn't say anything as he walked her home as well. She knew he was in pain and probably wasn't in the best of moods. She just hoped that when they got home, everything would be better.

Naruto himself was heading home, the annoyance that had built up for him the past month, more than willing to ignore anyone that requested his help or anything of the sort as he just wanted to go home for once and enjoy a good meal! If of course Hinata had made anything tonight even, who was she even expecting?
Maybe he would be a surprise and he'd have to wait hours for something...
"Ugh, my hands are killing me, I've hardly had any time to exercise or even practice my jutsus! I just need a well deserved break, every last one of my family should know how much I do! Yet I have an ungrateful son, a creepy and possibly stronger than normal daughter, and Hinata has been just so weird lately!" He complained, believing he was the only one with any sort of issues in the family.

It wasn't long before both Himawari and Boruto came to their house. Boruto had led Himawari through a detour, telling her that the way they usually went was under construction. However, that was not the case at all. The real reason was that Boruto would always meet his dad on the way home after missions. While he loved his father, the way things between him, Himawari, and his mother were going because of his fathers' arrogance and selfishness, made him decide to go a different route where he wouldn't have to see his father.

Himawari stayed close to her brother and would try to speak to him, only for him to not respond. It was annoying, but eventually she stopped trying to get her brother to come out of his funk. Himawari was about to speak, until she saw her home coming into view. She instinctively ran into the house and straight to Hinata, who was done making dinner. "Mommy! Mommy!" Himawari shouted as she barrelled through the front door to her mother, hugging her tightly. Hinata slightly stumbled back as she wasn't expecting her daughter to be home for a little while, but smiled as she hugged her daughter back, looking down at her with a smile.

"Hello sweetheart! It's nice to see you, did you have fun at school today?" Hinata asked as she knelt down to get eye level with her daughter. Himawari released her hold on Hinata and smiled.

"Uh huh! It was great! We learned a lot about the Hokage's, I got to play a lot with my friends after school, and Boruto came to pick me up and-" Himawari was interrupted when she heard a door slam behind her. Hinata and Himawari both looked to see Boruto, who had just entered the home. Hinata raced over to Boruto when she saw the cuts on his face and neck.

"Oh god sweetie! Are you okay? Do you need any medical treatment? Are you feeling dizzy?" Hinata asked worriedly as she began to wipe off the dirt and dried blood on Boruto, but he pushed her away lightly.

"it's alright mom. I'll just go wash up." Boruto said as he made it for his room. Hinata looked at him and sighed before retreating back to the kitchen, where she saw Himawari seated at the table, waiting for dinner to begin. She smiled at this and walked over to the table, taking the head of the table.

It didn't take long for Naruto to arrive home himself, opening the front door with a sigh as he could smell something good.
"Well at least I don't have to worry about waiting on dinner." He said to himself as he went towards the kitchen and saw Hinata setting the table.
"Heya, I'm home honey." He said with a yawn as he pulled a chair out from the table, not even hugging Hinata or addressing Himawari even.
"Hopefully whatever you cooked can beat the crummy day I've had, you have no idea how much I do as the Hokage, it's ridiculous." He complained.

(Just wondering, want me to play Himawari or anyone so you don't have to play so many parts?)

Hinata looked at Naruto with a mix of disgust and shock. Did he really just come home without addressing her or her daughter? Did he seriously just address her in a way that made him seem like he was the only one in the household who was experiencing some kind of stress? Hinata didn't want to argue but she kept getting the nagging feeling to question Naruto about his behavior. But, she decided not to. 'Maybe he'll apologize later, or maybe he'll ask for forgiveness.' Hinata thought to herself before she went over to get a pitcher of water from the kitchen. The one thing she forgot to do. "Himawari, go upstairs and wash up, after that check on Boruto." Hinata said to Himawari as she began to fill the pitcher.

She hoped Naruto might at least compliment her in some way. She had gotten all dressed up today in hopes that Naruto may give her some affection. She was wearing a purple sundress with black polka dots on it. The dress wasn't tight fitting, but it did reveal and ample amount of cleavage and showed off her soft, cream-colored legs. She had also braided her hair.

Boruto was upstairs utilizing what little knowledge he had of medical jutsu and began focusing his hand on the affected areas of his face. He had washed his face prior so that no dirt or any contaminants would get into the healing wound, but it was taking time. The small ones took no time at all to heal, but it was a gash on his left cheek that was taking time to heal. "C'mon..C'mon...i don't have all night goddammit!" Boruto cursed as he applied more chakra to his palm.

Himawari was confused and tried getting Naruto's attention, before being told to head upstairs to wash up and check on her brother.
"Okay mommy, umm, you alright daddy?" She asked, to which she got no response.
With a sigh she went towards the stairs to head up and check on Boruto, hearing some noise in the bathroom and checked in on her brother treating his wounds.
"Brother? Do you need some help?" She offered kindly.

Naruto hardly noticed Hinata's appearence before she let out a cough for attention, with one look he sighed and backed away a bit.
"What's with the outfit? Going off somewhere? Thanks, and after I just got home." He scoffed as he held out his cup upon seeing the pitcher.
"Mind giving me some water at least?"
