Ravens Rekindling. (Private with toxic34)

Raven was going on vacation for a bit. That's all she told her friends at Titan Tower. However she didn't tell them that the purpose of this vacation was very personal. Raven was going to fix the relationship she had with her mother. It was not healthy nor good in any way. So she hoped that this vacation would give them enough time to fix it. Raven had her bag of things packed. After saying goodbye to her team and somewhat reluctantly hugging Starfire and Beast Boy, she opened a portal and stepped through. On the other side she stood in front of her mother's lovely home. With a deep breath the portal closed behind her and she knocked on her mother's door.

Arella was sitting down, in a contemplative mood. She brightened when she heard the knock, and smiled when she opened the door. "Raven! I can't believe that you're here!" She hugged her daughter tightly.

Ravens cheeks turned red at the affection from her mother. She didn't really know how to properly respond and gave quite the awkward hug back in response. "Hello...Mother." Raven said. "So did you...have any ideas of how we could fix....this?" Raven said, gesturing to the two of them.

"Believe me, Raven, I never wanted to let you go," Arella said. "I only gave you up because I had no choice, did everything to hide you from Trigon. If it had been up to me, I would've raised you from the start. I wanted nothing more than to do that."

Raven walked into the house with her mother. "So where's my room?" She asked. Her mother's house was quite lovely and pretty comforting. The furniture, the smell, how things were set up, the lighting. All of it felt right, like this is where Raven is meant to be.

"I have kept a room for you, for when this day would come," Arella said. She led her along to the room in question and opened the door.

The very second Raven saw the room her eyes shot wide open. She was in a bit of disbelief at what she saw. Maybe it was an illusion? It looked way too real to be one. Raven was looking at a fully stocked nursery in her size! There was a crib with her name on it in cute block letters, a fully stocked changing table, a closet and a dresser stuffed with clothes and extra supplies, a full toy box, a rocking chair AND a playpen! "Uhh are you...sure this is my room? I'm a bit...too old for this kind of stuff, mother." Raven said.

"Raven, I lost track of you when you were only 9 months old," Arella said. "I enjoyed caring for you, and I want to pick up where we left off. Besides, this crib here is a full sized bed, I just added crib bars to it. Plus, I knitted and sewed a lot of things just for you!"

Raven though to herself for a bit. She gently tapped her chin with her finger. After another deep breath Raven walked into her nursery and placed her bag down by the dresser. She turned and looked at her mother, pulling her hood down. "I...I guess I'll give this a try. I'm starting to understand what you mean by picking up where you left off." Raven said.

Arella beamed and then proceeded to suddenly strip Raven to be completely naked as the day she was born. She then laid her down on the changing table, sprinkling powder on her and unfolding a thick, fluffy diaper.
